About Haven Art Therapy
Haven Art Therapy is a counselling and art therapy practice based at Marine Parade Central, serving clients islandwide. It is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. The practice holds a 4.9-star Google rating, though across only 9 reviews — a small sample that should be treated as directional rather than definitive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range ($$) tier; contact the practice directly for a specific fee quote.
Clients typically begin with an initial consultation to discuss presenting concerns, therapeutic goals, and any relevant history. Art therapy combines verbal and creative modalities, so there is no prior art experience required — the focus is on the therapeutic process rather than artistic output. It is worth confirming session format (individual, couple, family, or group), session duration, package options versus single-session availability, and the practitioner's specific credentials and registration with the relevant professional body. If you intend to claim under a corporate employee assistance programme or insurance policy, clarify accepted documentation before your first appointment.
To take the next step, reach out to Haven Art Therapy via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about availability, session fees, and whether an initial consultation can be arranged at the Marine Parade Central premises.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
We had a truly a transformational journey with Haven Art Therapy! Our daughter was struggling to express and manage her emotions since she was 2. Under our pediatrician’s recommendation, we started attending art therapy classes with Chloe and she literally walked out of the first lesson a different kid. We have been working with Chloe for more than 2 years now and the early intervention shows. Even though our kid is well now, we continue to bring her as there is always something therapy can help, just like for adults.
Cozy and comfortable environment. Quality teaching and art materials. My autistic son has been attending art therapy with Haven Art Therapy with Ms. Cherilynn since march 2024 till he is in primary school earlier this year. I have seen significant improvement in him and he has no struggles in his transition to his primary school at all. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms. Cherilynn and Ms. Chloe for their patience, understanding and guidance. Not forgetting Teacher Jess as she is making my daughter feeling thrilled and excited whenever she knows she is going for lessons. (I like the centre so much that i enrolled my daughter in their art class as well!). Highly recommended art therapy centre and great team of teachers !
Situated in a building filled with tuition centres for children. I like that its so convenient- marine parade MRT at the door steps, tuition and music schools for my other kids, food and shopping available when the kids are dropped off. I can even do errands at the bank or grocery. Marine Parade central is such a wonderful place to be at.
Cozy space filled with varied toys/materials for different age groups. The facilitators makes the effort to connect with the children & parents, making it a very personable experience.
Attended a mommy circle hosted at Haven Art Therapy and it was a meaningful morning getting to hear from a parenting coach and art therapist, and connecting with fellow parents. The space is inviting and cozy, and perfect for introducing us to art therapy. Thank you for the experience, will definitely love to explore more events and even classes with my child here.

Haven Art Therapy is listed at the mid-range ($$) price tier, but specific per-session fees are not published — contact the practice directly for a current quote. In Singapore, counselling and art therapy sessions typically run S$100–200 per 50-minute individual session at private practices, with higher rates for couples or family sessions. Ask whether single-session bookings are available or whether the practice offers a package rate for a committed course of sessions, which often reduces the per-session cost. Confirm the cancellation and no-show policy — most practices require 24–48 hours' notice to avoid a late-cancellation charge. See the full counselling cost guide for Singapore →
A GP or psychiatrist referral is not required to book a private counselling or art therapy session, though some clients come with a referral letter that provides useful background. Haven Art Therapy will typically ask you to complete an intake form before or at the first session covering your presenting concerns, relevant personal history, and any current medication or psychiatric care. For certain presentations — complex trauma, psychosis, active suicidality, or eating disorders requiring medical monitoring — the practitioner may recommend concurrent support from a psychiatrist or GP. If you are seeking reimbursement through an employee assistance programme or insurance, check with your insurer whether they require a referral or a registered practitioner's certification before your first appointment.
Counsellors and art therapists in Singapore are not yet regulated under a single statutory licensing body equivalent to the Allied Health Professions Council. Voluntary professional bodies include the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), the Singapore Register of Counsellors, and — for art therapists specifically — credentials from internationally recognised bodies such as the American Art Therapy Association (AATA) or the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT). Haven Art Therapy does not currently list specific regulatory licences on its KakiList profile. Before booking, ask the practitioner directly for their professional qualifications, the body with which they are registered or credentialled, and their supervised clinical hours. This information is standard practice to disclose and helps you assess fit for your particular needs. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
