About Health Food Matters
Health Food Matters is a meal delivery service for seniors based in Woodlands, covering all areas of Singapore. The listing has been verified by KakiList and the business is registered with ACRA. With 7 Google reviews at a rating of 4.3 out of 5, the sample is too small to draw firm conclusions — treat this as directional only. Pricing is indicated at a mid-range level, though no specific per-meal or package rate has been published.
Families considering meal delivery for an elderly parent or relative will typically want to confirm several practical details before committing: the menu's suitability for common senior dietary needs (low sodium, diabetic-friendly, soft or pureed options), portion sizes, delivery windows, minimum order frequency, and whether meals arrive hot or chilled for reheating. It is also worth establishing how much notice is needed to start or pause deliveries, and whether a trial period or sample meal is available before signing up for a longer arrangement. Given that appetite, dietary restrictions, and swallowing ability can change with a senior's condition, flexibility in the plan is an important factor to raise.
To get started, contact Health Food Matters by phone or through their online enquiry form to discuss the senior's dietary requirements and arrange a trial order before committing to a recurring delivery plan.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
My father is on palliative care, he has trouble swallowing food, Janice was very helpful with assisting me to select the types of food for my father to try. convenient and nutritious those are the main factor that any caregiver would be thankful for, saving us time in preparing food giving us the chance to spend more time with our love ones.
I would like to share my ordering experience with Health Matters. For my 1st order, I am not able to receive on the supposed delivery date.(3 days later) Janice from Health Food asked which date I preferred and arranged within the time slot the following week. For my 2nd order, I completed my order on 11 Nov 20 and usual delivery takes 3 working days. However, I need the meals urgently over the weekends. So, again I seek help from Janice, she did an excellent job by arranging for the meals to be delivered today after I got back from office in the late afternoon. I am apologetic to the delivery staff as he has to purposely make a trip. Usual delivery timeslot based on location is in the morning. I am so grateful to have such understanding people like Janice and delivery staff whom delivers excellent customer service. With Great Appreciation, Jindy YOUNG
Health food matters offer a wide variety of nutritious, convenient meals. It has saved my time thinking of what to eat during office lunch hour. Also, my grandfather with little teeth enjoys the same meal as mine, which are available in minced texture.
Ive finally found a solution for mum’s eating problems. The moist and mince is soft and tender enough that she can eat it without her dentures. Thanks for taking a load off my mind!
Managed to get the special diets that my mum likes from this website. Also thankful to Janice who is ever prompt in replying to my request for help regarding my orders. Highly recommend!!!

Health Food Matters displays mid-range pricing, but a specific per-meal or package rate has not been published on this listing. Senior meal delivery services in Singapore typically range from S$8–18 per meal depending on menu complexity, dietary customisation (low sodium, diabetic-friendly, soft diet), and delivery frequency. Some providers charge a delivery fee on top, particularly for addresses in the east or west if the kitchen is based centrally — the Woodlands base may affect surcharges for southern or eastern locations. Confirm the full cost in writing before committing: per-meal rate, delivery charge, minimum order quantity, and any fee for pausing or cancelling a plan. Health Food Matters is a meal delivery service rather than a care staffing provider, so it does not offer live-in or visit-based caregiver arrangements. Its scope is the preparation and delivery of meals suited to seniors' nutritional needs, which can complement — but does not replace — personal care or nursing support. For families managing a senior's overall care arrangement, meal delivery can work alongside a part-time caregiver who assists with feeding if needed, or as a standalone service for seniors who are mobile and independent but benefit from nutritionally planned meals. Confirm the delivery schedule, frequency options, and any trial period directly with Health Food Matters.
Health Food Matters is ACRA-registered and KakiList-verified, confirming it operates as a legitimate business entity in Singapore. However, no regulatory licences — such as an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence — are listed on this profile. For a food preparation and delivery business, SFA licensing and an associated hygiene grade are standard requirements; families should confirm these details directly with the provider before placing orders. There is no AIC or MOH clinical registration listed, which is consistent with a meal delivery service rather than a clinical home care provider. Ask the provider for their SFA licence number and hygiene grade, and confirm whether food is prepared in an SFA-inspected commercial kitchen.
