When approaching Helpers Inc Agency Pte Ltd, enquire about placement fees for new-hire helpers versus the typically cheaper transfer route, the helper's monthly salary (generally S$550–800 depending on source country and experience), and the monthly MOM levy — S$300 at the standard rate or S$60 at the concessionary rate if your household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with a disability. Confirm what is bundled into the placement fee — mandatory FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, the medical examination, and Work Permit application — and what is billed separately. Ask about source-country options (Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Sri Lanka), the replacement guarantee window and its conditions, and the repatriation cost should the placement break down early.

I had the pleasure of working with Jane during my search for a helper to look after my newborn, and I cannot thank her enough for her dedication and support throughout the process. As a first-time employer, I was very particular and wanted to ensure I found the right fit. Jane took the time to meet me early on to understand my household needs and preferences. She shortlisted a lot of suitable candidates and patiently guided me through over what felt like 20 interviews, many of which took place during weekends and after her regular working hours. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care made a stressful process much smoother. Jane never rushed me and always made sure I felt confident in my decision. Thanks to her persistence and support, I finally found a wonderful helper who suits my family perfectly. I highly recommend Jane to anyone looking for a helper. Her commitment and service go above and beyond!
Only use this agency if you have ALOT of money and time to waste. Took 4 helpers from them, only 1 finished her contract. The very first helper i got from them wanted to go home 3 days after she arrived because she said she miss her husband and kids. Only the second helper finished her 2 years contract. Only reason why I went back to them again. The third one was very lazy and simply watched and stared at me while I do the house work. Wanted to change her within 1 week as her work attitude was horrible. Using her phone instead of attending to my kids’ needs and alot more to list. The agent told me i need to pay another 2k for a replacement!!! I have attached the proof. I also had to pay for the helper’s airfare back. If i wanted to transfer her i had to pay $800 for her accommodation. They are very prompt when it comes to collecting money. We had to keep chasing them for updates of the replacement helper’s status. The latest helper i got as a replacement was worst. Acted like she is the boss! She was always scolding my kids so that we will take over. To the extent my kids wanted my husband and me to attend to their needs instead of her. Do note that my kids are not difficult to handle in the first place. She just agitates them with her nasty words. Each time when we give feedback the rules of the agency benefitted the helpers more than us employers. They treated us like our money came from the tree and the lazy helpers just walked away carefree without any consequences or money to lose. Its been 6 weeks since the last helper left and I am still chasing the AGENCY for my insurance refund. No one even bothered to reply me. I will STRONGLY NOT recommend this agency.
Thanks Jane for a wonderful experience getting a helper for our children. We had some issues with our first helper and she was very prompt and responsive with helping us deal with those issues. Our current helper employed through Helpers Inc is really a great help to our family and we are so thankful for Jane who assisted us every step of the way. 100% will recommend!
Jane did a great job in helping me find the right match helper for me and in a short span of time too. I have a baby and he got so sick from infant care that I had to search for alternative arrangements and decided to get a helper. She matched me with my current helper and my helper is so hardworking and loves my child like her own. Overall very happy experience with the agency and Jane’s help. I was able to coordinate all of this in the comfort of my home as well without going through so much hassle. Thanks again Jane, we are so lucky and grateful for your help that we got such a wonderful helper to our family.
We had a great experience with Helpers Inc, especially with our agent Jane. She was extremely helpful and on the ball throughout the entire process — from understanding our family’s needs to actively searching for the right helper. Jane shared her thoughtful recommendations and expertise, and patiently arranged multiple interviews until we found the perfect fit. Even after our helper started working with us, Jane continued to follow up to make sure everything was going smoothly — a level of care and professionalism we truly appreciate. We’re very happy with the helper we hired through Helpers Inc and would highly recommend Jane and her team.

Placement fees at Singapore maid agencies typically run S$1,500–3,500 for a new-hire helper and S$500–1,500 for a transfer helper already in Singapore. On top of the placement fee, budget for the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy — S$300 at the standard rate, or S$60 concessionary if your household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with a disability. Confirm with Helpers Inc Agency Pte Ltd exactly what is bundled into the placement fee. Items that may be included or billed separately include mandatory FDW insurance (~S$300–600 per year), the Settling-In Programme, the pre-deployment medical examination, and Work Permit application costs. Getting the full cost breakdown in writing before signing avoids surprises. See the full maid agency cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold a MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is verifiable by name or licence number on MOM's online EA directory. No EA Licence is recorded in this KakiList listing — households should ask Helpers Inc Agency Pte Ltd for the licence number directly and cross-check it on the MOM directory before paying any deposit. The EA Grading system runs from A+ to C; agencies rated A+ or A have demonstrated stronger compliance and complaint-handling track records. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, service contracts, and invoices. Engaging an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if the helper absconds or the agency folds, and can void your FDW insurance. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses carefully.
Replacement guarantees at Singapore maid agencies typically cover a window of six months from the helper's arrival date. Within that period, a replacement is usually provided at no or reduced cost, though the conditions matter — agencies generally distinguish between documented mismatches (behaviour, skill gaps, household fit) and buyer's remorse, and may limit the number of free replacements. Ask Helpers Inc Agency Pte Ltd to spell out what voids the guarantee and how much an additional replacement costs beyond what is included. Also confirm the early-termination process: if the placement breaks down outside the guarantee window, the household typically bears the repatriation flight cost, unused levy refund filing, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork. Getting the replacement and refund terms in writing before signing the service agreement protects both parties and makes the process clearer if a placement does not work out.
