About Home Employment Agency Pte Ltd
Home Employment Agency Pte Ltd is a maid agency based at Katong Shopping Centre on Mountbatten Road, serving households islandwide in Singapore. It holds a KakiList verification and is registered with ACRA. It carries a Google rating of 4.7 out of 5 across 43 reviews, a moderate sample that provides reasonable directional confidence. When engaging a maid agency, families should confirm whether they are seeking a new-hire helper or a transfer helper, as placement fees and timelines differ — new-hire placements typically cost S$1,500–3,500, while transfer helpers are usually S$500–1,500. Monthly costs after placement include the helper's salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the MOM levy (S$300 standard, or the concessionary S$60 for eligible households with a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm whether mandatory items such as FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, the medical examination, and Work Permit application are bundled into the quoted fee or billed separately. Source-country options typically include Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka.
Contact Home Employment Agency Pte Ltd by phone or through the enquiry form to clarify placement fees, available helper profiles, and the replacement guarantee window before signing any agency contract.
Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service provided by Cecelia. From start to finish, she was incredibly professional and thorough in helping me find a suitable helper. What stood out was her dedication to ensuring I understood every aspect of the process; she explained all the little details clearly and patiently. Her years of experience were evident in how expertly she screened the candidates. This professional screening saved me a significant amount of time and stress and ultimately led me to the right fit. Cecelia went above and beyond, and I highly recommend her services. Thank you, Cecelia, for your invaluable help
My family had engaged an Indonesian domestic helper thru the assistance of Cecilia. Cecilia is responsive in answering our queries (sometimes beyond business hours, which we appreciate very much) and most importantly, she was able to shortlist helpers who meet our selection criteria. Our helper has already been with us for the past 3 months and we are very pleased with her performance so far. We also appreciate Cecilia's "after sales service" to check in with us on our helper's performance after 3 months. We are happy to refer Cecilia to potential employers seeking for domestic helpers! Cecilia, well done! and I hope you will continue to maintain your excellent service!
Extremely disappointed with the service rendered by Joyce. Communication was practically non-existent throughout the entire process of transferring our helper from the Philippines to Singapore. We had to get all updates directly from the helper herself — what’s the point of hiring an agency if we’re doing the liaising ourselves? To make things worse, we were told the helper was arriving, but no one informed us that a runner had already been arranged to pick her up. My husband went all the way to the airport for nothing. On top of that, we assumed she could start work immediately, only to find out after her arrival that she still needs to go for another medical check and won’t be able to start until next week. Completely disorganized and lacking in basic communication. Would not recommend.
cecilya is really fantastic, she put me at my ease and provided my family with a helper that exceeded our expectations. Truly, thank you, you have made a real difference for us.
Had a great service at this office and served by Cecilia who helped me in many ways to secure a great helper even initially rejected by MOM, thanks for the good support

Placement fees vary depending on whether you are hiring a new helper or a transfer helper. New-hire placements in Singapore typically run S$1,500–3,500; transfer helpers are generally S$500–1,500. Contact Home Employment Agency Pte Ltd directly to confirm their specific fee schedule. Beyond the one-off placement fee, budget for the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if your household has a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Ask which items are bundled — FDW insurance (roughly S$300–600 per year), the Settling-In Programme, the medical exam, and Work Permit application — versus charged separately. Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold a MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is verifiable on MOM's online EA directory by agency name or licence number. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. No EA Licence number has been provided in this listing, so you should verify Home Employment Agency Pte Ltd's licensed status on the MOM directory before paying any deposit. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; agencies rated A+ or A have stronger compliance and complaint-handling track records. Hiring through an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if the helper absconds or the agency closes, and can void your FDW insurance.
A standard replacement guarantee covers a defined window — typically six months from the helper's arrival date — and includes a set number of free replacements for documented mismatches such as skills gaps or compatibility issues. Replacements requested purely on preference may incur an additional fee, so clarify the distinction before signing. Also confirm the early-termination process: if a placement breaks down outside the guarantee window, the household bears the repatriation flight cost, Work Permit cancellation paperwork, and any unused levy refund administration. Ask Home Employment Agency Pte Ltd to spell out these terms in writing before committing. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
