Patients typically begin with a first consultation in which the practitioner takes a detailed history, assesses presenting conditions — whether pain management, digestive issues, fertility support, stress, or general wellness — and determines an appropriate course of treatment. Sessions may include acupuncture, tui na, cupping, herbal prescription, or a combination. You can enquire by phone or through the contact form on the listing to ask about appointment availability, whether a single session or an ongoing package suits your condition, and the clinic's cancellation policy before committing.
To book, call the clinic or submit an enquiry through the form and ask to speak with the practitioner about your specific concern before scheduling your first appointment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the TCMPB public register before treatment.
Had been with Lucy for almost 3 years. Since she was at another location. Always enjoyed my 1 an half to 2hours with her. She really helps me solve all my pain issue and teaching me how to take care my body. Due to my work timing and need to fix my posture for few hours without much movement that cause all my body aches and linked to my headache. So amazing right? Our whole body is linked 😅 I always tell her I will try to rest early and do more stretching but the most first few days later I forgot again 😜 Those who have issues like me. Bad body ache, headaches or joint pain all this I really highly recommend her service. She is really good, once you tried, you will know 😉 And I love that now they have the sauna and another 2 machines. Heard that it's very good. Will try them out soon. 😁
This is the place to go if one likes strong acupoint tuina. I had a great 2 hours session by Kelly, she really helps to release the tension in my body.
I have visited Hua Jian TCM for 3 months, and have been going weekly for Tuina treatment to address pain management and slimming, and I am thoroughly impressed with the results. The therapist took the time to understand my concerns and tailored the session to my specific needs. The Tuina technique used was both effective and relaxing, significantly alleviating my muscle pain while promoting better circulation. After just a few sessions, I noticed a marked improvement in my posture and reduced tension in my body. As for the slimming benefits, I was initially sceptical but pleasantly surprised by the results. The combination of targeted massage and expert advice on maintaining a balanced lifestyle has made a noticeable difference. Highly recommend to anyone seeking for pain relief and weight management.
This is definitely a place to visit when you are having body aches and need a good traditional Chinese Tuina. Lucy has been helping me to ease my neck and shoulders discomfort for the past 3 years when she was working with another TCM clinic. This year she decided to move to a new company and I will continue to support her. This new place even brought in special health treatment equipments from overseas to help improve sleep and ease of stress for customers. Great service from Lucy and her friend Kelly. I am sure you will enjoy their professional tuina skills and will return to support them like me.
I sought tuina therapy for my lower back pain n stiff that I've been struggling on. A taxi driver recommended LUCY the therapist to me when we chat about TCM. I had my tuina therapy session about 90 minutes, Lucy applied her skills on specific acupoints on my lower back and waist. LUCY was skillful, knowledgeable, patient and explain the causes of the pain. I had been Lucy about 9months, my lower back stiffness/pain does reduce. Highly recommended.

TCM consultation and treatment fees in Singapore typically run S$40–120 per session depending on the modalities involved — acupuncture, tui na, cupping, and herbal prescription each carry different charges and may be combined in a single visit. First consultations sometimes carry a slightly higher fee to cover the intake assessment. Ongoing treatment is usually offered as individual sessions or as a discounted package of six to ten sessions, which can reduce the per-session cost meaningfully. Confirm the full fee breakdown — including whether herbal medicine is charged separately, whether a no-show or late-cancellation fee applies, and whether CHAS or MediSave claims are accepted — before attending your first appointment. No referral is required to visit a TCM clinic. On your first visit you will typically complete a short intake form covering your health history, current medications, and presenting complaints, after which the practitioner conducts a tongue and pulse assessment alongside questioning before recommending a treatment plan. If you have a complex or chronic condition, bringing a recent GP or specialist letter can help the TCM practitioner understand your medical background and coordinate care appropriately. For certain insurance or Medisave-claimable conditions, a referral or diagnosis code from a Western-medicine practitioner may be needed to support the claim — check your insurer's requirements in advance.
In Singapore, TCM practitioners who perform acupuncture must be registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. Registration is verifiable on the TCMPB public register at moh.gov.sg. Registered acupuncturists hold an Acupuncture Licence in addition to basic TCM registration; those practising only herbal medicine hold a TCM Physician registration without the acupuncture endorsement. Hua Jian TCM Clinic does not currently list regulatory licences on this KakiList profile. Before attending, ask the clinic to confirm the consulting practitioner's full name and TCMPB registration number, then verify it on the public register yourself. This takes under two minutes and is the single most important step before any treatment.
