Philip and myself(Helen) worked together with our ID, whom we met by chance at Expo, on the layout and designs of our house for than 4 months before the hacking started on 24/06/24. We thought that we could relax to let our ID to handle the whole process of renovation, looking forward to a new look of our home. Not long we discovered that our ID’s rights to involve in our house was slowly removed. Our peace and security were threatened when our ID left due to management issues in the midway of renovation especially when our master bedroom toilet was faced with escalating problems with floor tiling and wall hung toilet system.We were told a new ID Eric would take over. Initially we opposed to the arrangement as our house renovation was in the midway and Eric was not told on our home design when our ID left. But with the conviction from bible passage 2Chronicles 35:20-27, we decided to cooperate with Eric. To add to our stress, our site supervisor Syafiq was entrusted to continue our house project with no idea on the design and shared his lack of confidence not able to handle the supervision of the detailing works. Philip personally assisted Syafiq to monitor and check on the detailing works as the renovation progressed. The renovation journey was not smooth and faced with challenging and frustrating situations. We often came to the site to check and brought mistakes and dissatisfaction to their attention. Together with Eric and Syafiq, we put our hands together to complete the project. We wanted to compliment on the workmanship of the tilers( but their housekeeping discipline was very poor), plumbing, electrical and carpentry. The workers are so friendly and helpful. We are grateful to Syafiq for his persistence to continue to give us the great support to coordinate the subcontractors and a good job to push various areas of workers to complete our house in time. Not forgetting Eric to closely monitor the carpentry though some parts were overlooked. Now we are back to our home sweet home. Though with minor imperfections, we are happy and satisfied with the handover of our home. Visitors started to flow in and they enjoyed and compliment our home.

We worked with Kelvin and Callista from Carpentry Labs for our renovations. They were really pleasant and easy to work with, and overall most of the works were done well. Speed-wise generally the work was done quick; there were usually no delays or nasty surprises. Kelvin and Callista made sure to coordinate with the workers and ensure things were smooth. They also picked up certain safety concerns with our existing installations that we were not aware of, which we really appreciate. As for hiccups, there were some minor ones. Our TV console (or the wall it was attached to) was slightly slanted. Our window blinds were not installed with the right length, and some lights installed were faulty. Finally, post-renovations followup were a little lacking. We had difficulties getting the leftover tools to be removed, for instance. These are small but albeit legitimate road bumps that we faced. Most of the actual hacking, installations and work was great, and if the after work customer services are done better, it would go from good to a fantastic experience overall.

We went searching multiple IDs. Glad to found Jasmine. We had very tight timeline. And having kids we don’t really have too much of a choice. Jasmine manage to execute and complete the project on time. Very satisfied with design and service. Definitely will recommend to all my friends and family. Thank you Jasmine!
