About Iamatelier Agency
Iamatelier Agency is a domestic help placement agency based at 80 Changi Road, operating islandwide across Singapore. It has been listed on KakiList as verified, though it holds 4.1 out of 5 stars across 9 Google reviews — a small sample that should be treated as directional only. No ACRA registration or MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence has been confirmed in the listing data at this time.
When engaging a maid agency in Singapore, the key steps are to confirm the agency's MOM EA Licence number (verifiable on MOM's online EA directory), understand the placement fee for a new hire versus a transfer helper, and clarify what is bundled — mandatory FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application — versus what is billed separately. You will also need to account for the helper's monthly salary (typically S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if your household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Source-country options typically include Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka. Confirm the replacement guarantee window and the process for early termination, including repatriation costs, before signing any contract.
To proceed, reach out to Iamatelier Agency via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to request their MOM EA Licence number and a full written breakdown of all fees before paying any deposit.

Extremely unprofessional Agent and owner - Sarah Magnus. Extremely rude and puts a lots of hidden charges and never communicates anything clearly, my helper was absconding and helper refused to even go back to agency since the agency had miscommunicated with her and brought her to Singapore. Sarah Magnus Claims that she has a lot of helpers but she has started this agency just a couple of years ago. She was an ex employee in my firm and when I inquired no one had any good reviews for her even as a person. Just it gives ane example, please read the invoice she charged us without informing us while sending the helper back. We had asked her repeatedly what will be the charges and she never mentioned anything. If anyone wants more proof of the wrongdoings that this agency and Sarah Magnus does, please reach out to me.
experience was 10/10. whole process was seamless and gave my family a peace of mind. thank you Renee! will recommend to friends and other family members!
Very patient and good service! Always a listening ear !
Very professional and helpful. Out of all the agents who had contacted us, they are the ones who understood our concerns and requirements very quickly and found the perfect fit. The entire process was smoothly handled although at that time they were a fairly new agency. We have had our helper for about a year now.
Good service , good prices what else could you ask for!

Placement fees for a new hire typically run S$1,500–3,500 through licensed agencies in Singapore; a transfer helper (already in Singapore on a valid Work Permit) usually costs S$500–1,500. On top of the placement fee, you will pay the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary for eligible households). Confirm what is bundled into Iamatelier Agency's package — mandatory FDW insurance (~S$300–600 per year), the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application — versus what is charged separately. Ask for the full fee schedule in writing before paying any deposit. See the full maid agency cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold an MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is verifiable by name or licence number on MOM's online EA directory. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. No MOM EA Licence has been confirmed in Iamatelier Agency's current listing data, so you should ask for the licence number directly and cross-check it on the MOM directory before proceeding. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; A+ and A grades signal stronger compliance and complaint-handling records. Engaging an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if a placement breaks down, and can void your FDW insurance. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
The standard replacement window at Singapore maid agencies is typically six months from the helper's arrival date. You should confirm with Iamatelier Agency how many free replacements are included within that window, what circumstances void the guarantee (for example, documented mismatch versus a change of mind), and what the cost of any additional replacements would be. Also clarify the early-termination process if a placement breaks down outside the guarantee window. The household is responsible for the repatriation flight, any unused MOM levy refund, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork — these costs can add up, so understanding them upfront matters. Ask for the replacement and early-termination terms in writing before signing the placement agreement.
