I worked with Natalie Yeow from iDfferent Design for my home renovation (mid-Oct 2025 to mid-Jan 2026), and the experience was smooth and very satisfying from start to finish. Natalie was recommended by a friend who had a great renovation outcome with her—and I’m glad I followed that recommendation. From the first discussion, Natalie understood my requirements extremely well. Instead of jumping straight into “features,” she focused on my lifestyle, the problems I needed to resolve, and the goals I wanted to achieve. She took detailed notes during our conversations and consistently followed through, which made the whole process feel organized and reassuring. The final design fits my needs perfectly, and some of her ideas were genuinely better than my original concepts—practical, thoughtful, and well considered. She was also flexible when I requested changes (as long as they weren’t too disruptive), and she always offered good alternatives to address my concerns. Execution-wise, iDfferent Design selected solid sub-contractors, and Natalie monitored and guided them well throughout the renovation. She also put together a clear project schedule and sent me weekly updates on the plan and progress, which really helped me stay confident about timelines. One thing I appreciated was the additional support from her bosses—they reviewed the design and plan, which added another layer of assurance with their deeper experience. They also visited during the final week to ensure everything was completed properly and that the overall service met my needs. Most importantly: I moved back in on the scheduled timeline. Overall, working with Natalie and iDfferent Design was a pleasant experience, and I would happily recommend them to others.

Maggie (main ID) and Kent (advisor) were our designers. We met Maggie at an ID fair and were impressed by how she was able to understand what we wanted for our house and made edits to our floor plan on the spot on her iPad. Maggie is very meticulous, reliable and responsive. She is a good project manager in coordinating with the contractors, who delivered high quality workmanship. She is also resourceful and went out of her way to help us source for additional lights and accessories to make our house complete. Throughout the whole process, Maggie and Kent gave many valuable inputs and suggestions based on our preferences, and patiently guided us as new homeowners. They have a good taste for aesthetics and quality, and great attention to detail, which was important for the modern luxury theme that we wanted. They also managed to incorporate our preferences into the final design very well, and we are very happy with the end product. Lastly, they are also incredibly friendly and approachable, making the whole process a fun and memorable one. Would highly recommend them!

We got to know Idfferent Design company through a referral. They never pushed hard for the sale, rather they focused on understanding our needs and offering practical design. Engaged Oscar as our interior designer and had a generally positive experience. He is genuine, personable, and mindful of costs, often advising us on where we could save. He was proactive in coming down to site to check on progress. Some room for improvement in communication and site coordination, but overall a sincere and responsible designer. I would recommend Oscar as he definitely a designer you can trust and work with confidently.

We choose Idfferent Design for our home renovation and Maggie was our interior designer. From our first meeting, she took the time to understand our needs and we had several detailed discussions throughout the process. Even with multiple changes to the design, she remained patient, professional and supportive, which gave us confidence to move forward with her as we shared the same vision for the renovation. Maggie did an excellent job coordinating the entire renovation process, ensuring everything was well managed and completed smoothly. The interior design is beautifully executed and thoughtfully planned. The layout, color palette and overall ambiance create a warm and welcoming home. Have worked with Vanessa to renovate 3 different houses over the years. All 3 were complete tear-downs that involved substantial work. She's an exceptional ID - detail-oriented, patient in listening and understanding our needs, and has a keen aesthetic sense. Her work has been very reliable and consistent, with our houses completing on time (despite their complexity) and she is always communicative about any challenges that come up. I have also deeply appreciated her continued commitment to supporting us through repairs, adjustments and additions over the years as our needs evolved. For example, she helped us install additional cabinets 2 years after we moved in, in the same color, when we needed more storage. We recently just moved into our new home and we absolutely love it.
