Enquiries typically begin by confirming your event date, preferred format, and headcount. It is worth establishing the venue's capacity under different layouts — standing cocktail, banquet round-table, and theatre seating typically yield quite different numbers — alongside the F&B policy (whether you must use in-house catering, bring an approved external caterer with corkage, or arrange F&B independently). Other key details to confirm upfront include A/V provision (PA system, projector, screen, microphones), aircon hours, setup and teardown access windows relative to the rented period, noise curfew, nearby parking, and accessibility for guests with mobility needs. If you are planning a wedding solemnisation, ask whether the venue holds ROM registration or whether a separate Justice of the Peace arrangement is needed.
To move forward, reach out to Ikkoten Omakase via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form with your event date, approximate headcount, and preferred layout — and arrange a site recce before paying any deposit so you can confirm the space works for your specific event format.
Do a site recce, confirm capacity for your specific event format (cocktail / banquet / theatre), and put the F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, setup/teardown access, and rescheduling terms in writing before paying the deposit.
My husband stumbled across this hidden gem from Facebook and he decided to celebrate my birthday there with my friends. I had been looking for a Japanese restaurant that serves reasonable and good quality omakase for sometime now so we decided on Ikkoten since the reviews were great. My experience there didn't disappoint me and my friends at all! We had an amazing dinner from service, food to ambience. Service - Chloe was a great staff. She was meticulous and prompt in providing service and she's very warm and polite. We simply love her! Food - Oh my god! We enjoyed every bit of Chef Brandon and Chef Bryan's creation. The ingredients were fresh, the taste was well balanced and the plating was simply gorgeous. Ambience - couldn't be cosier...it was clean, bright and inviting. I feel so much at home 🏠. Because of my experience I chose Ikkoten again yesterday. Well done to Chef Brandon and team! We love your food and restaurant. Will definitely visit again soon!
We celebrated our 2-year anniversary at Ikkoten Omakase, and it was truly unforgettable. Every one of the 15 dishes was amazing — each bite packed with flavorful punches, so fresh, thoughtful, and beautifully prepared. The intimate setting feels personal and cozy without being uptight, which made the whole experience even better. The chef and his brother were behind the bar all night, and they spent so much time engaging with us, explaining each dish, getting to know us, and guiding us through a real culinary journey. We also learned that their menu is seasonally driven and changes every ~3 months, which makes each visit unique and exciting. We’ll definitely be back in December to try the winter menu. This is hands down some of the best Japanese food you can find in Singapore, and the chef and team are incredibly talented, genuine, and passionate. Please check this place out — it made our anniversary dinner absolutely perfect!
If omakase had a final boss… this might be it! We tried their Hana Omakase Menu [15 course at $169++]. We kicked off with a rich monkfish liver on umami ebi senbei. Then a robust cold lobster bisque chawanmushi that defies tradition. Moved on to Hamachi sashimi kissed by smoked hay, and Tai sashimi that changes personality depending on how u pair it with yam stem and the dreamy truffle foam. Next we enjoyed fresh Chilean seabass, topped with housemade nori butter, simply delicious! Then a seasonal pregnant snow crab loaded with roe, topped with marinated egg yolk shavings. And lobster tempura with housemade tomato compote… crispy and dangerously addictive. Then came the sushi parade. Engawa-scallop handroll, yuzu-jelly kohada, truffle-caviar ebi, cold smoked hamachi, tuna medium fatty belly and the signature negitoro-uni ‘seashell’ crowned with gold dust — literally edible treasure! Finish with a yuzu broth cleanse and seasonal strawberry sorbet… and don't forget to upgrade your vibes with free-flow sake & wines at just $45++. This is your sign to come experience the heavenly goodness at Ikkoten.
Celebrated our best friend’s birthday with an amazing omakase experience at Ikkoten. Special thanks to Chef Brandon and Chef Bryan for making it such a memorable evening. Every dish was beautifully presented, and the quality of the food was excellent. The service staff was also very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
Great experience with Chef Brandon and his team. Every dish was delicious and well explained. The menu is well thought, pacing the palate while constantly dropping surprises to keep things interesting. Conversations were also fun and interesting. Looking forward to the December menu.

Ikkoten Omakase uses a package pricing model, positioned at the mid-range ($$). Singapore venue rental pricing typically follows either an hourly hall rate — function rooms run S$100–500/hour with a 2–4 hour minimum, while ballrooms run S$300–1,500+/hour — or a per-event package, which for small to mid-sized venues can range from S$1,500–8,000+ for a half-day and S$8,000–30,000+ for a full-day ballroom. Contact Ikkoten Omakase directly for a current package breakdown specific to your event date, headcount, and format. When reviewing the quote, confirm what is included: aircon hours, basic A/V, on-site staff, cleaning, and setup/teardown access. Common add-ons include external-caterer corkage (typically S$3–8/pax), liquor corkage if BYO, extended-hours surcharges, and photography or videography permits. Capacity varies significantly by event format — standing cocktail configurations typically accommodate 1.5–2× the number of guests that a banquet round-table layout can seat, with theatre seating sitting in between. Ask Ikkoten Omakase for the specific capacity figures for each format relevant to your event before committing. On F&B, confirm whether catering is in-house only, whether an external caterer is permitted (with or without corkage, and whether there is an approved-caterer list), or whether BYO is allowed with a corkage charge. In-house F&B venues typically set a minimum spend per pax that replaces the hall rental fee. For events with alcohol, confirm whether the venue holds a Liquor Licence for bar service or whether a corkage arrangement applies. If you are planning a wedding solemnisation, confirm whether the venue is a registered ROM solemnisation venue or whether you will need to arrange a Justice of the Peace independently.
The Singapore venue rental industry standard is a deposit of 30–50% on signing to secure the date, with the balance typically due 1–2 weeks before the event. Popular Saturday evenings — especially during wedding season in March, April, October, and November — book out 6–12 months ahead, so early enquiry is advisable. Before paying any deposit, confirm the noise curfew (typically 10–11pm for venues near residential areas), parking arrangements, lift or ramp accessibility, and the setup and teardown access windows, which are often outside the rented time block. Ask about the rescheduling and cancellation policy in the event of a force-majeure situation — reputable venues typically allow rescheduling within 6–12 months without forfeiting the deposit. A site recce before payment is standard practice. Do a site recce, confirm capacity for your specific event format (cocktail / banquet / theatre), and put the F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, setup/teardown access, and rescheduling terms in writing before paying the deposit.
