When engaging a maid agency, the process typically begins with clarifying your household's needs — whether you are looking for a new-hire helper or a more affordable transfer helper already in Singapore. New-hire placement fees generally run S$1,500–3,500; transfer placements typically S$500–1,500. Beyond the placement fee, factor in the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience), the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if your household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability), mandatory FDW insurance, and the Settling-In Programme. Source-country options typically include Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka, each with different salary norms and skill profiles.

The agent was very considerate regarding the concerns we had. Their service was really good. They communicated well and made sure that our concerns were well heard. We are very satisfied.
I had a great experience with Jayyne Employment Agencies. They were reliable, efficient, and really took the time to understand my needs. They provided well-matched helper profiles, which made the hiring process smooth and stress-free. I’m very satisfied with the service and highly recommend them. Thumbs up for their excellent support!
I have used Jayyne Employment Agency services for 2 of my domestic maids. The transition period was smooth. The agent offered a variety of choices of profiles to choose from. The interviews went smoothly as well. I will definitely use and recommend this agency to my family and friends. Thanks Jayyne for your services.
I hired a maid(FDW) from an X agency. The X agency said she had feedback in MOM portal (asked us to reconsider), but the FDW explained that it was misunderstanding and requested us to give her a chance. We hired and within 3 weeks, FDW started creating issues and said she cannot work in 5rm house as FDW had worked in 3room before and wanted to change. X agency said they can absorb her in 3 days as they were full. We gave 3 options - Wait for 3 days/Repatriate to hometown or transfer to another agency. FDW opted last one and said would prefer Jayyne Agency (JA). I contacted JA and they accepted the transfer same day. Upon reaching JA, they arranged 3 interviews for next day. However, FDW changed her mind and wanted to be repatriated same day. JA contacted me, booked flight, gave her food etc, took her to airport at 2AM, completed check-in/immigration clearance and sent the photo of claeance at 2.30AM. When I asked, whether I should take the FDW to the airport as I had transferred, JA said they will do that. FDW has been creating issues at regular intervals until departure. JA never ever complained, never said why I transferred such FDW to them. JA handled it professionally and managed it on their own. I don't think anyone else would have been able to handle this situation in such a way. Truly, thank JA from the bottom of my heart for this. It was tough time until FDW departure to airport. Tough times never last, but Tough people(JA) do. Thanks again and I sincerely recommend JA for the service they do. Expert at it. 👍💪

Placement fees at maid agencies in Singapore typically range from S$1,500–3,500 for a new-hire helper and S$500–1,500 for a transfer helper already in the country. On top of the agency fee, you will pay the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the MOM levy (S$300/month standard, or S$60/month concessionary for eligible households with a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67+, or a person with disability). Confirm with Jayyne Employment Agencies exactly what is bundled into their fee — mandatory FDW insurance (~S$300–600/year), the Settling-In Programme, the medical examination, and Work Permit application costs may be included or billed separately. Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold an MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is publicly verifiable on MOM's online EA directory by agency name or licence number. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. No MOM EA Licence has been recorded in this listing, so you should verify directly with Jayyne Employment Agencies and cross-check against MOM's directory before proceeding. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; agencies rated A+ or A typically have stronger compliance records and complaint-handling processes. Engaging an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you without recourse if the helper absconds or the agency closes, and can void your FDW insurance. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
A standard replacement guarantee at Singapore maid agencies covers a window of around six months from the helper's arrival date, typically including one or two replacements at no additional charge. It is important to clarify what conditions void the guarantee — documented mismatch in skills or temperament is generally covered, whereas a change of mind on the employer's part may not be. Also confirm the early-termination process should the placement break down outside the guarantee window. The household bears the cost of the repatriation flight, any unused MOM levy refund, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork. Ask Jayyne Employment Agencies for the replacement and termination terms in writing before signing the agency contract.
