About Julia Gabriel Education

About Julia Gabriel Education

Julia Gabriel Education offers playgroup programmes at its centre on Orchard Road, serving families across Singapore. The provider is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It holds a Google rating of 4.7 out of 5 across 165 reviews, a robust sample that lends reasonable confidence to that score. Fees are priced at the mid-range tier ($$) on a monthly recurring basis, though prospective families should confirm current fee schedules directly with the centre.

Families typically begin by enquiring about slot availability for their intended start month, as places — particularly for younger age groups — can fill well in advance. When you contact Julia Gabriel Education, it is worth asking about the daily routine, the approach to settling-in, and the infant-to-caregiver ratio where relevant. A centre visit allows you to observe the learning environment and meet the lead teacher before committing. Singapore citizen children may be eligible for ECDA subsidies, which can meaningfully reduce out-of-pocket monthly costs; the centre's admissions team can advise on whether the programme qualifies.

To take the next step, reach out to Julia Gabriel Education via phone or the enquiry form to check slot availability for your preferred start month and arrange a centre visit.

My daughter is 16 months old, and we’ve been attending the Playnest programme every Wednesday at 8:45 am. Teacher Soba is fantastic — you can really feel her genuine care, warmth, and enthusiasm! All the teachers are cheerful, energetic, and make an effort to engage every child. We truly enjoy our sessions, and my little girl is always so happy in class. The activities are fun, interactive, and make learning such a joyful experience. Highly recommend this programme to any parent looking for a wonderful bonding time with their little one through play and happy learning!

My son 11 month old attended Wednesday 8.45am class. My child has truly enjoyed and benefited from the playnest class! From the very first session, I noticed he is really happy and enjoyed the class. The activities are fun, engaging, and thoughtfully planned — helping him learn through play while also building strength and focus. He always looks forward to every class, and it’s wonderful to see him so excited to move, explore, and make new friends. The teacher are patient, encouraging, and know exactly how to bring out the best in each child. I’m so glad we joined this program — it’s been a great way for my child to grow physically and emotionally while having lots of fun!

Teacher Tiffany Dass is a highly charismatic and inspiring teacher. Every time I listen to her after class sharing, it feels like I am listening to a story. Her way of speaking is incredibly engaging and captures attention easily. So, both my child and I truly enjoy her classes. In addition, Teacher Tiffany is always willing to share her experiences and give sincere, thoughtful advice. She observes each child’s learning progress in class and adapts her teaching based on individual learning styles, truly teaching students according to their needs. What I appreciate the most is her patience and dedication in communicating with parents after class. Whenever I have questions or concerns about my child’s learning, she always takes the time to share insights and provide guidance. As a result, not only has my child learned a great deal in her class, but I, as a parent, have also learned valuable ways to better support my child.

Engaging Teachers and Wonderful Place for Little Learners! We couldn’t be happier with our experience here.  From the moment we walked in with our twins, it was clear that this is a place where children are not only cared for, but truly engaged. Teacher Shoba, Brie, and Francis are absolutely fantastic—warm, enthusiastic, and full of loving energy. They make learning fun through play, music, storytelling that keep the children curious and excited. What really stood out for me was how well all the teachers connect with each child, making them feel seen, heard, and valued. The group has an environment full of connection, comfort, and trust, that you can see how the children feel safe, confident, and eager to participate. I see our twin girls becoming more engaged, confident, and come home mimicking fun new things they learn about each after each class. We truly look forward to each class every week. I highly recommend JG Forum to any parent looking for a playgroup that balances learning, creativity, and genuine care. We’re so grateful to be part of this joyful group.

My daughter has attended their playnest class for 2 terms and have thoroughly enjoyed the class. Interesting segments like story telling and music are loved by the children while learning to be comfortable with teachers/babies/toddlers in a classroom setting. A special shoutout to Teacher Zai who has been amazing! She is full of positive energy and her zest for teaching the students shone through. My daughter has graduated playnest and will continue playclub next term with Teacher Zai.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Julia Gabriel Education charge per month?

Julia Gabriel Education operates on a monthly recurring fee model, priced at the mid-range tier. As specific fee schedules vary by programme level and age group, families should contact the centre directly for a current breakdown. Beyond the monthly fee, it is common for childcare and playgroup providers to charge a one-off registration fee as well as a deposit, typically equivalent to one to two months of fees, payable upon enrolment. Uniforms and personal accident insurance may also be billed separately. Childcare fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the monthly amount quoted should represent your full outlay before applicable subsidies. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →

What subsidies can I claim at Julia Gabriel Education?

Singapore citizen children enrolled in ECDA-licensed childcare centres may qualify for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care or up to S$300 per month for childcare — subject to the centre holding the relevant ECDA licence. Working mothers employed for at least 56 hours per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Development Grant. An Additional Subsidy is available on an income-tested basis, which when combined with the Working Mother's Grant can bring total monthly support to as much as S$710 or more depending on household income. Permanent residents receive partial subsidies at lower rates. It is important to note that subsidy quantum and eligibility criteria are updated periodically. Confirm current figures and whether Julia Gabriel Education's playgroup programme qualifies directly with ECDA at www.ecda.gov.sg before making enrolment decisions.

Is there a waitlist at Julia Gabriel Education?

Demand for quality playgroup and early-childhood places in Singapore — particularly at centrally located centres — can be high, and families are generally advised to enquire three to twelve months ahead of their intended start date. January is the peak intake month for most programmes, so places for that cohort tend to fill earliest. To secure a slot, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and deposit, which confirms your child's place. Contact Julia Gabriel Education directly via phone or the enquiry form to check current availability for your preferred programme and start month, and ask whether a waitlist exists for fully subscribed intakes.
