About Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre

About "Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre"

Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre is a special needs school based at Connection One, Jalan Bukit Merah, serving families across Singapore. The centre has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact information. It holds a 4.5-star rating on Google across 19 reviews, though that sample is small and should be treated as directional rather than definitive. Pricing is listed at the mid-range tier on a monthly recurring basis; families should contact the centre directly to confirm the current fee schedule and any applicable extras.

For families considering Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre, the starting point is establishing whether the centre's programme is suited to your child's diagnosed condition — whether that is autism spectrum disorder, global developmental delay, a hearing or visual impairment, or a physical disability. You will typically need a diagnostic report from a developmental paediatrician, psychologist, or MOE Psychological Service before a placement can be assessed. From there, expect an intake assessment or observation visit so the school's team can evaluate fit with your child's profile. Enquire specifically about the therapist-integrated day — whether speech therapy, occupational therapy, or physiotherapy is woven into the timetable — and about the teacher-to-student ratio, which at quality SPED and private special needs settings generally falls between 1:3 and 1:6. It is also worth discussing the longer-term transition pathway: whether graduates move toward mainstream schooling, vocational programmes, or continued SPED provision.

To take the next step, contact Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to request an intake assessment appointment and confirm current placement availability.

My child attended Kaleidoscope from age 2.5 to 4+. When we first joined, I was told the center had both Speech Therapy (ST) and Occupational Therapy (OT), so there was no need for private sessions. Based on that advice, I stopped external speech therapy. However, the OT at Kaleidoscope later advised us to continue private OT sessions — which we did. Unfortunately, within a few months of joining, my child lost all his spoken words, which was very concerning. I then restarted speech therapy through Kaleidoscope, and while there was some improvement, it was mainly due to the individual ST and OT sessions, not the regular class program (for which we were paying ₹4750 per month). Later, I also added Educational Therapy (ABA-based), and that’s when my child began to recognize numbers, letters, and show gradual progress. My overall impression of Kaleidoscope is that it’s very expensive for the limited progress delivered. However teachers are super nice to deal with.

Therapists and staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. They offer good advices at all times and are very responsive. My child first attended speech therapist and had good results. Therapist is very experienced, patient and observational. She suggest for occupational therapist for other developmental needs. All the therapist are very knowledgeable and able to prescribe activities suitable for child based on their assessments.

My daughter attends the Early Intervention Program (EIP) at Ready Let's Go (RLG), which is run by Kaleidoscope. In her 18 months since joining, she has made tremendous progress in her abilities to speak, socialise and learn, all credit to the unique non-ABA based pedagogy followed by them. Its been an amazing experience for my daughter here, she most importantly enjoys going to her RLG school everyday, the therapists and teachers are very accommodative of every child's unique needs and the weekly regular updates they provide are very insightful. With several special school and therapy centers mushrooming around Singapore (mostly for business prospects due to higher rates of diagnosis these days), Kaleidoscope is one of the most trustworthy institutions I can vouch for! They go by following the child's lead, which I believe is the right strategy. The gyms and classrooms are very big and spacious and clean, well lit up and cozy! The program leads Zanel and Judith are amazing too! As the parent of a special child, it gives me an extreme sense of satisfaction that my daughter is in the best hands at her school! Kudos and hats off to the Ready Let's Go team at Kaleidoscope for their unique EIP program and their accommodative, loving approach to working with the kids!

Our son has bene attending early intervention program at Ready Let’s Go for almost 2 years. He has seen significant progress with his communication and physical development. The teachers and therapists at RLG are experienced and supportive of working with each child’s strengths and areas of development. They are very responsive work closely with the parents for the areas of development.

I have been going to Kaliedoscope with my daughter for the past 2 years It has been one of the most caring and kind places with very experienced therapists. Having a child on the severe end of the spectrum is not easy, but their therapies and their devotion has seen a huge change in her. From a child who sat in a pitch dark room on a swing with her mother, to confidently attending their Ready Let’s Go program…. I never thought I would have the luxury of time to eat or work during therapy sessions. But I am so delighted and amazed with her steady progress. I have been around the world, NYC to LA to India, but having CONSISTENT, EXPERIENCED therapists has been a game changer for our family. I would insist that families allow for every child to deal with their disabilities and issues in a caring and supportive environment. It’s wonderful to be able to think there a possibility, that my child can be happy, independent and healthy. I cannot recommend them and their therapists enough. PS - it also great they have a huge space on two floors with so many gyms!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre" charge per month?

Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre lists its pricing at the mid-range tier on a monthly recurring basis, but has not published a specific fee figure. It is important to understand that monthly costs vary considerably depending on the type of provision. MOE-gazetted SPED schools typically charge Singapore Citizens around S$150 per month due to government subsidisation. EIPIC (early intervention) centres generally fall in the S$150–S$800 per month range, with fees income-tested. Private special needs schools run significantly higher, often S$1,500–S$4,000 or more per month. Beyond the base programme fee, families should ask about additional costs such as therapy top-ups, transport shuttle services, diagnostic assessment fees at partner clinics, and school uniform or materials. Fees at most special needs providers are generally GST-exempt, but confirm this with the centre directly. See the full special needs school cost guide for Singapore →

What subsidies and funding can I claim at "Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre"?

The subsidies available depend on the type of registration the centre holds. At MOE-gazetted SPED schools, Singapore Citizen children benefit from low flat fees; Permanent Residents and international students pay higher tiered rates. For EIPIC and early intervention programmes, ECDA administers an Additional Subsidy that is income-tested and can meaningfully reduce out-of-pocket costs. NCSS-administered means-tested financial assistance may also be available through the provider's social worker. SG Enable offers several financial assistance schemes relevant to families of children with disabilities, including the Assistive Technology Fund. Where therapy components are delivered at approved clinics, MediSave may partially offset those costs. Do note that Basic Childcare Subsidy and Working Mother Subsidy apply to mainstream childcare settings and are not available here. Funding quantum and eligibility criteria change periodically. Families should contact the MOE Special Education Branch and SG Enable directly for the most current figures, and ask Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre's team whether a social worker is available to assist with applications.

How do I secure a place at "Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre"?

The essential first step is obtaining a diagnostic report from a qualified developmental paediatrician, psychologist, or MOE Psychological Service. Without formal documentation of your child's condition and support needs, most special needs schools cannot proceed with an application or placement assessment. Demand for SPED and private special needs school places in Singapore regularly exceeds availability, and waiting lists can extend from several months to over a year at popular settings. For MOE-gazetted SPED schools, placement is coordinated through the MOE Special Education Branch rather than by applying to individual schools directly. For EIPIC centres and private special needs schools such as Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre, you apply directly to the provider. Expect an intake assessment or observation visit as part of the process, which allows the school's education and therapy team to confirm that their programme is a good match for your child's profile. It is advisable to begin the referral and application process as early as possible, and to maintain a second-choice option while awaiting a confirmed place.
