Came across Katerior while I was searching for an ID for my place. I saw many good Google reviews so decided to ask for a quote & meet up with their ID Wanchai. Decided on them cause the quote was very reasonable & also I liked the ID’s vibes. However, sad to say that he really overpromised & under delivered & was quite irresponsible. Was quite appalled that I had to keep chasing him for timeline & proper scheduling of works. Also, as it’s my first time re-tiling, didn’t realise what’s the standard that by right after they put new tiles, the ID is supposed to put protective covering over it.. which he didn’t & I only found out much later after chatting with her friend about her recently renovated place.. The final straw came when he & my partner had a quarrel and he banged his fist against the wall which was totally uncalled for. Needless to say the project was delayed quite a bit as well from his initial committed timeline. After my experience with him, I requested that another ID in his company to take over this project & Song Ying was tasked to take over the mess that he created. This company should check on the standards of their IDs to make sure that things are being done properly because Song Ying told me that usually the renovation is not dragged out so long & that they definitely have to cover up the new tiles with protective covering after it’s up. Initially, SY & us didn’t start off on the right foot because there were just too many things which were in disarray & not handled well & also because of the initial’s ID’s over promising a lot of things, we had to sort out with Song Ying on all these. However, Song Ying was very responsive as well as responsible & she saw through the project taking it all in her stride & that she was focused on helping us meet our outcome: to complete the renovation as soon as possible despite the inconveniences. She re-did up the false ceiling because the cupboard ate into the ceiling from how the previous ID did & it wasn’t supposed to be so. She showed me that I could still trust in her expertise as an ID. Of course not everything went so smoothly & there were still some ups & downs working together but I’m glad that I changed ID to Song Ying & that I am very pleased as well with her after sales service. From this, I learnt that it’s important to go with reviews on IDs who have proven their mettle & not just with the overall company because of the many good reviews. Thanks Song Ying! Appreciate your work & for seeing through this project to give me a beautiful home!

We chanced upon Katerior ID during our trip to Suntec for the Smart Home Fair back to Oct2024. Song Ying is very friendly and promising, and we decided to engage her for our 3-room BTO which we have no regrets. She is very responsive and patience when we have lots of doubts as a first time home owner. She follows up on all works, provides design advice, rectify defects timely and everything is on schedule. She has a good team of professional painters, electrician and plumber. She knew I’m worried and got my floor and doors wrapped with protection sheet before work begins. Carpentry is quality & excellent~ Wardrobe & kitchen cabinet comes with ABS trimming & internal coloured PVC finishes. Cost is reasonable and on budget. Met with 3-4 IDs before I chanced upon Katerior on Hometrust and decided to check them out. Very lucky to be assigned to Xiao Han and I knew she is the ID I’m looking for after first meeting. Very transparent, no hard selling and provided good advice. Throughout the entire renovation process, we changed our design countless times but not once did Xiao Han get frustrated with us. She’s always responsive and contactable, even after hand-over.
