About Keystone Haus Pte Ltd

About Keystone Haus Pte Ltd

Keystone Haus Pte Ltd is a maid agency operating islandwide from its office at 101 Jln Hitam Manis, Singapore 278509. The listing is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channels. It holds a 4.3/5 rating across 91 Google reviews, a moderate sample that carries reasonable weight. No ACRA registration has been confirmed for this listing, and no MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence appears on record — households should verify the agency's licensed status directly on MOM's online EA directory before proceeding.

When approaching Keystone Haus, clarify upfront whether you are looking for a new-hire helper or a transfer helper, as placement fees and lead times differ considerably. New-hire placements typically involve a placement fee of S$1,500–3,500, whereas transfer helpers — already in Singapore on an existing Work Permit — usually cost S$500–1,500. Monthly costs after placement include the helper's salary (typically S$550–800 depending on source country and experience) and the MOM levy (S$300 standard, or the concessionary S$60 if your household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm what is bundled into the package — mandatory FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application — and what is billed separately. Source-country options commonly include Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka, each with different salary norms and skill profiles.

Contact Keystone Haus via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm their current MOM EA Licence number, request the agency contract, and clarify the replacement guarantee window before paying any deposit.

I'm currently staying at Keystone and having a wonderful time here. Even though Singapore is a tropical country, I haven't seen any large bugs in the house. Weekly housekeeping is provided by sweet and friendly aunties, which keeps the space clean and comfortable. Also, if anything goes wrong with the house or appliances, it gets fixed or replaced promptly. Another great thing is that you can rent a room for just one month, and the price is relatively affordable compared to other student accommodations in Singapore. If you're planning to stay in Singapore for a short-term program, I would definitely recommend Keystone!

25D For my experience, Keystone does offer some practical advantages. The location is convenient for INSEAD students, close to Holland Village with many pet-friendly restaurants, and the flexible lease terms fit short study periods well. The cleaning staff were kind and hardworking, and their weekly service really made a difference. However, many basic aspects of living here fell far below reasonable expectations. First, the hot water situation was unacceptable. The water never really got hot enough, and often turned lukewarm or even cold very quickly. Because of this, I ended up showering at the school gym most of the time just to have a proper hot shower. Although the unit technically has two bathrooms, one of them is outside and attracts a lot of insects, making it unusable in practice. This means four people share one bathroom, which is simply not what we signed up for. Second, the management’s response speed was extremely slow. When I reported missing items in the room after moving in, it took far too long for anything to be provided. More seriously, there was an incident with the main door lock. One night I came home to find the electronic lock completely dead. I took photos and immediately contacted the management team, but multiple calls went unanswered. No one replied that night or the next day. We had no choice but to go through the backyard and leave the gate unlocked for days, which was not only very inconvenient but also a real security risk for everyone living there. What made this worse was the complete lack of communication. I checked the lock myself every day and it was clear the battery was dead. On the third day, I found the lock working again, so someone had obviously replaced the battery. But at no point did management explain what was happening or when it would be fixed. For such a basic safety issue, this lack of care and transparency was simply unacceptable. Finally, the process for refunding the deposit was another big disappointment. All tenant payments must follow the management’s schedule, but when it was their turn to return our deposit, they did not follow the agreed timeline. The deadline passed without any update, and I had to send three separate emails before I got any response. Their explanation was that other tasks or staff leave delayed the refund. But our move-out date and refund timeline were clearly known in advance, so this should have been managed properly. This experience showed me very poor planning and little respect for tenants. I do appreciate the helpful cleaning staff and the location, but these cannot cover up problems that should never happen in the first place. I am truly disappointed, but I share my real experience in the hope that it gives future students another perspective when deciding if Keystone is right for them.

Keystone was the best and I truly mean it. From their support to their quick reactivity, the team is just unique and really amazing. They made my experience in singapore the best. I would recommend 100% !! The neighborhood is also great if you like a residential area.

For 25D’s experience, Keystone is in a decent location, but everything else about it is substandard and not worth the money. The building has zero sound insulation. You can hear every step, voice, and movement from your neighbors. The water barely gets warm, let alone hot, which is unacceptable in any rental, especially at this price. The downstairs bathroom is a breeding ground for insects. But the most infuriating part is the management. They are careless, unresponsive, and completely unprofessional. Issues are ignored or dragged out for weeks. Before move-in, they didn’t even bother checking what was missing from the unit. They showed no interest in fixing anything, and clearly didn’t care whether the place was ready or not. Keystone is managed with neglect and indifference. Unless you are out of options, look elsewhere. This is not a place worth living in.

It is unfortunate to say but this was a horrible living experience. I do not recommend it to any INSEADer at all. The quality of the houses ranges from disgusting to poor, and it depends on your luck which house you get. Our house had black mould all over the ceiling with leakages during rainfall (which happens 90% of the time in Singapore). On top of that our house was invested with spiders, and lizards. In addition to the poor house condition, the management was often careless, unresponsive, and rather defensive in their communication with us. It depended on the day and the housing representative you got to see how quickly your issues would be addressed and fixed. Additionally, the price did not justify the housing at all and you can easily find better options with this price. Unfortunately, Keystone never felt like home and I genuinely could not wait until the end of the leasing period. Lastly, it took them weeks to even return the deposit they took from us. Only positives are that the leasing periods coincide with INSEAD terms, and the location in Holland Village is great. But please look elsewhere.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Keystone Haus Pte Ltd charge?

Placement fees typically run S$1,500–3,500 for a new-hire helper and S$500–1,500 for a transfer helper already in Singapore. After placement, the main ongoing costs are the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary for households with a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm exactly what is bundled into the quoted package — mandatory FDW insurance (typically S$300–600 per year), the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application — versus what is charged on top. Getting the full cost breakdown in writing before signing protects you from surprises. See the full maid agency cost guide for Singapore →

Is Keystone Haus Pte Ltd MOM-licensed?

Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold a MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is verifiable by name or licence number on MOM's online EA directory. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, all contracts, and invoices. No MOM EA Licence has been confirmed for Keystone Haus Pte Ltd in the current listing data — you should verify their licensed status directly on the MOM EA directory before paying any deposit. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; agencies rated A+ or A generally have stronger compliance records and more structured complaint-handling processes. Engaging an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if the helper absconds or the agency folds, and can void your FDW insurance coverage. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.

What replacement guarantee does Keystone Haus Pte Ltd offer?

A standard replacement window in the Singapore market runs approximately six months from the helper's arrival date. Confirm how many replacements are included within that window, what circumstances void the guarantee (for example, documented performance issues versus a change of mind), and what the cost is for additional replacements beyond the covered period. Also clarify the early-termination process — if the placement breaks down outside the guarantee window, the household typically bears repatriation flight costs, must refund any unused MOM levy, and is responsible for Work Permit cancellation paperwork. Understanding these terms before signing the contract will help you avoid unexpected costs. Contact Keystone Haus directly via WhatsApp or phone to request the full replacement and early-termination terms in writing before committing.
