KH Poon Physiotherapy is a physiotherapy practice based at 25 Joo Chiat Place, Singapore, serving clients islandwide. The clinic is KakiList-verified, though ACRA registration has not been confirmed through this listing. Patients typically begin with a first consultation during which the physiotherapist takes a detailed history of the presenting condition — whether that is post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury, back or neck pain, neurological conditions, or musculoskeletal complaints — and conducts a physical assessment before agreeing on a treatment plan. Subsequent sessions may combine manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities such as dry needling or ultrasound depending on the diagnosis. It is worth clarifying upfront whether the clinic offers package pricing or bills per session, and whether sessions are claimable under MediSave, Integrated Shield Plan riders, or corporate insurance, as this affects out-of-pocket cost meaningfully.
To take the next step, contact KH Poon Physiotherapy by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to confirm appointment availability, bring any relevant imaging or referral letters to the first session, and discuss your condition and treatment goals with the physiotherapist directly.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Joyce attended to me re my lower back pain and frozen shoulder. It was not rushed and she took the time to release a number of spots. Then thoroughly explained the condition and treatment plan to me. Very happy with the atmosphere, quite relaxed and unstressful. Raught me some useful stretches and exercises and gave advice on maintainence and care. Conveniently across the road from the bus stop and ample parking in the public carpark across the road.
Really grateful to Mr Poon - best physiotherapist with a heart! He always goes above and beyond. More than his physiotherapy skills (which are excellent), he is also extremely caring and has a true heart for his patients. My mum suffered a fracture in her hand after a fall in July. She saw Mr Poon in August. Mr Poon was extremely patient with her and the physio (plus massage oils) helped alot in my mum’s recovery. Even after the physio session, whenever we texted Mr Poon to consult him over the next few months, he would patiently reply in a reassuring manner. You are in extremely good hands if you seek the services of Mr Poon!
Excellent service from Mr Poon! He is very detailed and experienced in the physio treatment. He is able to identify the root cause of the pain in my shoulder and neck and apply the treatment accordingly. Mr Poon also taught me the necessary exercises that I should do and he even recorded these in video so I can remember them. I felt so much better after the treatment and will continue to do the exercises on my own to help prevent the recurrence of the issue. Thank you so much Mr Poon, and the team at Rehab Alliance !
I had my first physiotherapy at Rehab Alliance yesterday and was attend to by Joyce. She was very clear in explaining what was wrong with me and patiently proving me the therapy to help with my sore left shoulder. After the session I felt a lot better and can’t wait for next session.
Highly recommend Mr Poon and his team at Rehab Alliance. Mr Poon is not only extremely knowledgeable, thorough and fantastic at what he does, but he is also empathetic and has genuine concern for his patients. Also highly recommend Joyce and Poonam who are both fantastic

KH Poon Physiotherapy is priced in the mid-range tier ($$), though exact per-session fees are not published in this listing — contact the clinic directly to confirm current rates. For context, physiotherapy consultation fees in Singapore typically run S$80–150 per session at private clinics, with packages of six to ten sessions available at a discount. Confirm upfront whether the fee covers assessment and treatment together or whether the initial consultation is billed separately. Ask about MediSave claimability (up to S$400–500 per year for chronic condition physiotherapy at registered providers), Integrated Shield Plan or corporate insurance coverage, and any cancellation or no-show charge. A GP or specialist referral is not strictly required to book a physiotherapy session at most private clinics in Singapore, though having one can support MediSave or insurance claims and gives the physiotherapist useful clinical context. For complex post-surgical cases or neurological conditions, bring any relevant discharge summaries, imaging reports, or specialist letters to the first visit. The first session typically includes a detailed intake assessment — covering pain history, functional limitations, past treatments, and relevant medical background — followed by a physical examination before any hands-on treatment begins. If you have cardiovascular conditions, unhealed fractures, active infection, or other contraindications, flag these when booking so the clinic can advise whether physiotherapy is appropriate at this stage.
Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. AHPC registration can be verified on the public AHPC licensee directory at https://www.healthprofessionals.gov.sg — search by name to confirm current registration status and that there are no conditions or suspensions on the licence. No regulatory licences are listed for KH Poon Physiotherapy in this listing, so it is advisable to confirm the treating physiotherapist's AHPC registration number directly with the clinic before attending. The clinic's 5/5 rating across 182 Google reviews is a positive signal, but licence verification remains a separate and important step. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
