Patients typically begin with an initial consultation in which the TCM practitioner assesses the presenting condition through tongue and pulse diagnosis alongside a discussion of symptoms and health history. From there, a treatment plan is agreed — this commonly involves a combination of herbal prescription, acupuncture, tui na (therapeutic massage), or cupping, depending on the condition and patient preference. Some conditions benefit from a recurring course of sessions, and the clinic can advise on the appropriate frequency and duration during the first visit.
To make an appointment, contact Kin Teck Tong (Tanjong Pagar) by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing page to confirm availability and bring a summary of any existing medical conditions or medications to the first consultation.

The physician Xu Chun Fang is very knowledgeable and is helping me with my condition. She is very patient and explains me the reason behind my condition and answers all my queries.Hoping to see positive results with her medication and treatments. The staff are very friendly and efficient too. The therapist too is very good and helped me with my back pain
Big thanks to You You! Truly one of the best therapists around! After visiting many other TCM stores, I can confidently say today’s session was the most effective and comfortable. I left feeling so much better. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quality treatment!
Went there, as i had a manulife MOVE member promo offer. They refused to honor it. Totally unprofessional. Wasted my time going there. Only after i emailing manulife did they offer to honor the voucher, which i decline considering their business attitude. Also, Staff couldn't speak a word of English, how to communicate - it's like a mute trying to talk to a deaf. Just imagine, how they can screw up your health big time.
i got wrist injury for very long and in the end i even went for a surgery treatment but the injury has not fully recovered. i came here by random chance and the treatment was immediately effective. it completely changed by perception of how TCM works. it was a wonderful experience.
I was hit by people last night and injured my knee and arm. A friend recommended this Chinese medicine clinic. I had acupuncture with Dr. Lee, Very professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. I also had a Tuina with therapist Youyou, very pleasant process. My knee and arm are now much more better and comfortable. Thank you, Dr. Lee, Youyou, and the friendly receptionist! 100% recommended!!!

No referral is required to visit a TCM clinic in Singapore. At your first appointment, the practitioner will conduct an intake assessment covering your presenting complaint, medical history, current medications, and lifestyle factors. It is worth bringing a list of any Western medications or supplements you are taking, as these can interact with herbal prescriptions. If you are claiming via MediShield Life, Medisave, or an employer's insurance policy, check the scheme's specific requirements — some insurers ask for a GP referral letter or pre-authorisation before covering TCM treatments. For complex or chronic conditions, co-managing care between your TCM practitioner and a Western-trained GP is generally advisable.
In Singapore, TCM practitioners must be registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. Registration covers acupuncturists, herbalists, and practitioners who perform both. You can verify any practitioner's registration on the TCMPB public register at moh.gov.sg before booking. No regulatory licences are listed for this provider in the current KakiList data. Ask the clinic to confirm the full name and TCMPB registration number of the practitioner you will be seeing, and cross-check it on the public register. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
