About Kinetics Performance Physio
Kinetics Performance Physio is a physiotherapy practice located at Bukit Timah Plaza, serving clients across Singapore. The practice is verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed operating details and contact information. With only three Google reviews at a rating of 4/5, that sample is too small to draw firm conclusions about overall client experience.
If you are considering physiotherapy, the usual first step is a one-to-one initial consultation during which the practitioner takes a full history, assesses your presenting condition or injury, and agrees a treatment plan with you. Typical questions to raise include whether the physiotherapist holds an Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) registration, what modalities are used (manual therapy, dry needling, exercise rehabilitation, shockwave, or a combination), whether sessions are individual or conducted in a shared space, how many sessions are likely needed, and whether the practice has experience with your specific condition — whether that is a sports injury, post-surgical rehabilitation, back pain, or another concern. Cancellation and no-show policies vary between practices and are worth confirming at the point of booking.
To take the next step, call Kinetics Performance Physio directly on the phone number listed to check appointment availability and confirm the initial consultation format and fee before attending. Listing data is incomplete — contact Kinetics Performance Physio directly to confirm details.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the AHPC public register before treatment.
I don't think anyone can give Shufen enough credit for all the things she does for her patients. I knew her since our old days in NHC, and she was my favourite (and ultimate) Saturday physiotherapist when both of us worked in ICU....'Shufen, come come come, help me, the patient is breathless, do your magic otherwise we might need to reintubate the patient'...She would then come in the most calm way and sorted things out! Many years later, now that I am the patient (dislocated my patella and torn the patellofemoral ligament), Shufen once again came to my rescue. Not only did she help to set up my Ortho follow up, the work she is doing for my physio rehab is incredible (she always said she is a smiley but nasty physio as she makes me work very hard during the physio); last Sunday was the first time in 2 months that I could climb the stairs (nearly) like a normal human being. Above all, she is willing to accommodate my sessions being out of working hours due to my work commitment. Many many thanks for making the physio session so much fun to attend, and the sweet treats I get every time (haha!) And thanks to you, I am motivated to do my 1-1.5 hours physio at home for those days I am not attending your clinic....something I could never imaging before.
This place no longer exists currently. Please update your information to avoid sending ppl the wrong way. Thanks

Kinetics Performance Physio displays a '$$' pricing indicator, but no specific per-session or package rate is publicly listed. For physiotherapy in Singapore, a first consultation with assessment typically runs S$100–180, with subsequent treatment sessions at S$80–150 depending on duration and modalities used. Package deals of six to ten sessions at a reduced per-session rate are common. Confirm the initial consultation fee, whether a separate assessment charge applies on the first visit, the cost of any add-on modalities such as dry needling or shockwave therapy, and the cancellation policy before attending. Ask whether sessions qualify for claims under your integrated shield plan or employer medical benefits — some insurers require a GP referral letter for physiotherapy reimbursement. Most physiotherapy practices in Singapore accept self-referrals — you can book directly without a GP letter. However, a GP or specialist referral is worth obtaining if you intend to claim physiotherapy costs through MediSave (only available for specific conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme), an integrated shield plan, or an employer health benefit scheme, as many insurers require one for reimbursement. On the first visit, expect a structured assessment covering your medical history, pain location and onset, functional limitations, and any imaging or surgical reports you have. Bring any relevant documents — X-rays, MRI reports, discharge summaries — to allow the physiotherapist to tailor the plan. If you have a complex or post-surgical condition, confirm in advance that the practice has experience managing it.
Physiotherapists in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is verifiable on the AHPC public register at https://www.healthprofessionals.gov.sg — search by name to confirm current registration status and that no disciplinary conditions are attached. Kinetics Performance Physio does not list any regulatory licences in its public profile on KakiList, so it is important to ask the treating physiotherapist for their full name and AHPC registration number before your first session and to verify this independently on the AHPC register. Practising without AHPC registration is an offence under Singapore law. Confirm the practitioner's registration before treatment.
