About Leegen Pte Ltd
Leegen Pte Ltd is a maid agency operating islandwide from its office at 3 Changi South Street 1, Singapore 486795. The listing has been verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed. However, with a Google rating of 1.6 across 302 reviews — a statistically robust sample — the public feedback record is a significant concern that prospective clients should weigh carefully before engaging.
When engaging a maid agency in Singapore, the process typically involves selecting between a new-hire helper or a transfer helper (who is already in Singapore on an existing Work Permit), agreeing a placement fee, and confirming the helper's monthly salary and MOM levy obligations. The monthly MOM levy is S$300 at the standard rate, or S$60 at the concessionary rate if your household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with a disability. Mandatory costs bundled by most agencies include FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application — confirm in writing exactly what Leegen Pte Ltd includes versus bills separately. Source-country options, replacement guarantee windows, and repatriation responsibilities on early termination should all be clarified before signing.
Contact Leegen Pte Ltd by phone or via the enquiry form to request a full breakdown of placement fees, helper profiles, and the agency contract — and verify any EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit.

Worst scam courier ever!! My order was stuck for around 6 days with them (see screenshot), Hotline provided didn't work (I called more than 20 times) and each time was cut prematurely. Even went down specially to see if there is anything that can be done to get updates, the storehouse said that they can't contact the drivers and don't know their locations. So zero update despite chasing repeatedly. The shipment was for winter clothes and now I have none, if my family freezes to death I'll literally sue them lol 🤣
My delivery came but everything was damaged. It was an expensive order. I paid sgd$900 in total and they damaged all my bed frames and they didn't answer my call till to date.
Like many other reviewers here , I've a similar encounter. My things are sitting pretty in their warehouse , perhaps too pretty that no one is moving it. It's been 3 days and I was assured by Taobao sellers the items will reach me by cny. Alas ! It's not to be and the only fault of the sellers is to partner with this horrendous company .Other items by singpost have long arrived even when the order was placed simultaneously. Right now , I can only pray that some action would be carried out by legion express and my purchases will arrive before cny. But chances look slim.
Worst delivery service experience ever. The delivery man first called and asked me to pay SGD$50 for the removal of the crate. I refused, as $50 is unreasonably expensive. That was already a red flag. That also made no sense at all, especially since I had already paid for delivery. In the second call, he told me that the crate needs to be removed first before they can bring it up, claiming that it was too heavy, despite the fact that there were two delivery men handling it and the crate itself was not heavy at all. In the third and final call, he claimed the parcel weighed 400kg, when in reality it was only slightly over 100kg. Eventually, I had to go downstairs and remove the crate myself. He insisted that the $50 was for crate removal and disposal, but the dustbin was literally right in front of the delivery vehicle. I removed the crate and disposed of it on my own in under 5 minutes, so I genuinely do not understand how that justifies a $50 charge. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience. Do not engage this company if you expect proper delivery service.
Bought items from Taobao via sea shipping. Taobao showed an expected delivery date of 4/2, and the parcel was later handled by Legion Express for last-mile delivery. On 5/2, I received an SMS from Legion Express stating that the parcel would be delivered within 2 working days. As I needed the items urgently for an event, I tried calling multiple times before someone finally picked up. I was then informed that delivery would only be attempted on Sunday, with no confirmation. Today is Monday (9/2) and the parcel has still not arrived. Unfortunately, my event was yesterday, so the items are no longer usable. Very disappointed with the delay and lack of clear communication.

Placement fees at maid agencies in Singapore typically run S$1,500–3,500 for a new-hire helper and S$500–1,500 for a transfer helper already in Singapore. On top of the placement fee, you will pay the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the MOM levy (S$300/month standard, or S$60/month concessionary for qualifying households). Confirm in writing whether the quoted package includes mandatory items such as FDW insurance (~S$300–600/year), the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application — or whether these are billed separately. Leegen Pte Ltd has not published specific pricing, so request an itemised quote directly before committing. See the full maid agency cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold a valid MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is verifiable by name or licence number on MOM's online EA directory. This licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. EA Grading runs from A+ to C, with higher grades reflecting stronger compliance and complaint-handling records. Leegen Pte Ltd does not currently have a regulatory licence listed in this directory entry. Before paying any deposit or signing a contract, you should verify the agency's EA Licence status directly on the MOM EA directory. Hiring through an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if problems arise, and can void your helper's insurance. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
A standard replacement guarantee at Singapore maid agencies covers a window of around six months from the helper's arrival date, typically including one or two replacements at no additional placement fee. Clarify what triggers a valid replacement — a documented mismatch in skills or duties generally qualifies, whereas a change of mind may not — and what the cost is for replacements beyond those included. Also confirm the early-termination process in detail. If a placement breaks down outside the guarantee window, the household is responsible for the helper's repatriation flight, Work Permit cancellation paperwork, and any unused levy refund process. These costs and procedures should be set out clearly in the agency contract before you sign. Given the volume of low ratings in the public review record for Leegen Pte Ltd, it is particularly important to have all replacement, refund, and termination terms agreed in writing before proceeding.
