Saw Lemon Fridge ads and decided to work with them for my home renovation. Met up with Elijah from LF and we immediately clicked. Decided to proceed with him and not waste time to source for other IDs. Elijah is very thoughtful throughout the process and kept our priorities in check. His design vision aligned with us, which made it super easy to work with him. Throughout the renovation, we decided to "add" stuff here and there which Elijah accommodated and helped us liaise with his contractors. Whole process felt transparent and truthful without any "sales pitch" or crazy mark ups for services. Elijah also took huge responsibility in his work and promise to us. Understandably, some areas might be lacking and require rectification works. He took it upon himself and settled everything for us. Even till date more than 8 months after moving in, we still kept in touch and he will still check in with me. Kudos to Elijah and LF team of contractors for the superb service and workmanship.

Kaze is an old friend of mine. About seven or eight years ago, one of my friends engaged Kaze to help with a home renovation and introduced him to me. I later introduced him to other neighbors in my apartment as well. This is my second home, and without any hesitation, I chose Kaze again to handle the renovation. He is always responsive and readily available, and whenever issues arise, he actively helps to find solutions. This has saved me a great deal of time and effort. For this project, he completed the renovation efficiently, allowing me to move in on time. The house includes a room with an irregular layout. Kaze did an excellent job redesigning it, significantly improving the usability of the space. I am confident in the quality of workmanship provided by his company. Thank you, Kaze. We were recommended to our ID Boon by word of mouth as we believe personal experience is more trusted than online reviews. With only a short period of time to move in, we were also worried about the renovations not being able to complete on time. Engaging Boon as our ID turned out to be the best decision ever. Not only is he responsible, reliable and responsive, he will also go the extra mile to help us think of furniture, fittings or decorations that will enhance the look and liveability of our home. During the renovation process, he will update us frequently on the progress and also help us coordinate the installation of services and home systems. Even after the renovation process is completed, any feedback of minor inconveniences or adjustments are promptly attended to. We are so thankful that we manage to move in on time. ​I chose Louis and Lemonfridge to design our executive maisonette because I didn't want a cookie-cutter home. I felt he had the capacity to try something truly different. I would much rather be in a position where I have to temper bold expectations than work with someone who is afraid to take risks. One clear example of this was the raw rock beam in the kitchen. I wasn’t entirely sold on it initially, but it turned out wonderfully and adds such a unique visual contrast to the space. ​Since we weren’t on a tight timeline, we really let the design ideas run their natural course. The final product feels like a beautiful evolution of our initial vision; for instance, the multiple layers of curves on our living room ceiling were actually inspired by a cafe we visited during the process. Throughout the journey, Louis kept us updated on the latest materials and products in the market. He would share what he thought would fit, ranging from premium to affordable options, but he was never pushy and always kept the final aesthetic in mind. ​One of the biggest benefits of working with Louis is the team he brings with him. His contractors in tiling, aircon, electrical, and carpentry are clearly seasoned pros who have worked together on many projects. That synergy made everything run smoothly and cut down on the typical friction you see in renovations. ​That said, it’s unrealistic to expect a months-long project to go perfectly. We had instances of mistakes or miscommunication, but what mattered most was Louis’s integrity. He was usually the first to discover an issue and report it to us, rather than waiting for us to find it ourselves. He always came to us with a solution or suggestions instead of leaving us to worry. For a busy professional who doesn't have time to constantly monitor a site, that level of trustworthiness is invaluable. ​I am exceedingly pleased with the result and grateful to Louis for being there for us. After hearing so many horror stories from friends about their own renovations, I don’t take this smooth experience for granted. A big thank you to Louis!
