Louis came highly recommended by my best friend, and working with him turned out to be an excellent decision. From start to finish, we had a truly great experience. Louis is extremely responsive, responsible, and very accommodating. As working adults, we could only communicate after work on weekdays and sometimes quite late, as well as on weekends. Despite this, he was always prompt in his replies. Even when he informed us that he would be away, he still made the effort to respond and keep things moving. While we were overseas, he consistently kept us updated on the renovation progress and handled matters quietly and efficiently on his own — including managing complaints — without stressing us at all. He has a wonderful ability to turn problems and concerns into solutions through his creativity. We’ve heard many horror stories from friends about bad experiences with interior designers, so we feel extremely fortunate to have met Louis. He has been nothing short of excellent. Even after the handover, he remained prompt and efficient, always willing to help with whatever we needed. Louis is also very practical and ensured that we stayed within our budget without compromising on quality or design — which is no easy feat. Our home was particularly challenging to design due to the layout and shape of the unit, but he put in a tremendous amount of thought and effort, and was incredibly patient with us until we found the perfect layout. Our renovation was a major one, involving hacking and rebuilding almost every wall, yet he ensured everything stayed on track without delays. Most importantly, he always delivered on his promises, which we truly appreciated. After staying in the house for close to a month, we were genuinely impressed by the workmanship and carpentry quality. There were very minimal defects, and everything was executed exactly according to the agreed layout. Even the post-renovation cleaning team we engaged commented on how few defects there were and expressed their surprise — which speaks volumes about the quality of Louis’s work and his team. We absolutely love the final design of our home and have Louis to thank for it.
