Families considering Little Gems Preschool should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as places — particularly for younger age groups — can fill quickly. When you make contact, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine, and the settling-in approach the centre uses to help children transition. It is also worth clarifying whether the centre participates in ECDA subsidy schemes, which can meaningfully reduce monthly costs for Singapore citizen children.
The most practical next step is to reach out via phone or the enquiry form listed on this page to check current availability, arrange a centre visit, and request a copy of the fee schedule and parent contract before committing.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

Miss Rose and all staff at Little Gems are very caring and attentive.Miss Sofe and Miss Wen Laoshi are excellent teachers. They always keep on sharing the progress with enthusiasm. My son loves to go to the school everyday with a big smile and also enjoys his delicious meals at school. School is very receptive towards parents feedback too. The best thing is how beautifully they celebrate each and every festival in school with so much joy all over. Always proud of Little Gems Preschool.
Very thankful to the school and the staff here because both my girls are very well taken care of. The staff here is really like one united and happy family and the kids here really enjoy going to school. My older girl is learning so much at school and she talks about her teachers and classmates fondly. She enjoys so many field outings and events too! The younger one is in IFC and she's very comfortable with her teachers :) Class size is cosy too which i love. Teachers are approachable, very prompt with updates and willing to help. Truly a gem!

Little Gems Preschool is priced at the mid-range ($$) tier on a monthly recurring basis. When you enquire, ask for the full fee schedule, as the monthly programme fee is typically accompanied by a one-time registration fee and a refundable deposit of around two months' fees. Some centres also charge separately for uniform and personal accident insurance. Childcare fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly fee should reflect what you actually pay. Subsidy eligibility can reduce this figure significantly for qualifying families — see the question on subsidies below. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children attending licensed childcare centres may qualify for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare. Working mothers employed for at least 56 hours per month may also qualify for the Additional Working Mother Child Care Subsidy on top of the Basic Subsidy. For lower-income families, the Additional Subsidy is income-tested and can bring combined monthly support to as much as S$710. Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at reduced rates. Subsidy amounts are subject to change, and the above figures are provided as a general guide only — visit the ECDA website for the most current quantum and eligibility criteria. To receive subsidies, the centre must be an ECDA-licensed operator. Confirm this directly with Little Gems Preschool, as no ECDA licence is currently listed on this profile.
Waitlists are common across Singapore's childcare sector, particularly for infant care places and at centres in popular residential areas. As a general guide, families are advised to enquire three to twelve months ahead of their intended start date. January is the peak intake month, and slots secured earlier in the preceding year tend to have more options. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit, which typically holds the slot. Contact Little Gems Preschool directly by phone or via the enquiry form on this page to ask about current availability for your child's age group and preferred start month.
