About "Little Green House"
Little Green House is a playgroup provider operating at Midview City, Sin Ming Lane, and is both KakiList verified and ACRA registered. The centre holds a 5-out-of-5 rating on Google, though this is based on 12 reviews, so it is best treated as a directional signal rather than a statistically robust measure. Fees are priced at the mid-range tier ($$) on a monthly recurring basis.
Families considering a playgroup place should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as popular sessions can fill well in advance. During that first conversation, it is worth asking about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine and curriculum structure, and the settling-in approach the centre uses to help young children transition comfortably. Parents of Singapore citizen children should also ask about ECDA subsidy eligibility, as qualifying families may be able to offset a portion of the monthly fee.
To take the next step, reach out to Little Green House directly via phone or the enquiry form on their listing to ask about current vacancy for your preferred start month and to arrange a centre visit.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

As a parent of a recent K2 grad, I can't say enough good things about Little Green House! The teachers are super communicative. We got updates through the app and quick texts, so we always knew what was going on. Plus, they involved us in all the fun stuff like parties and field trips. It felt like we were part of a big family. The teachers are amazing at making learning fun! Our little one was always excited to go to school and even did extra work at home. It's clear the school's teaching methods really work. We've noticed a big change in our child's behavior. They're more responsible and take the lead on their schoolwork. It's amazing to see how the school has helped them grow. The school has such a positive vibe. The kids are always smiling and excited to go to school. It's a warm and welcoming place for everyone. Overall, we're so grateful for our time at Little Green House. It's a fantastic school that truly cares about my child.
My daughter has been with LGH@Sin Ming for 5 years, since she was 20 months old. We were drawn to LGH@Sin Ming because of its Mandarin programme. We are glad that the school has provided an environment for her to develop an interest in learning Chinese and speaking in Mandarin. The teachers have been very attentive to her needs and growth in social and emotional aspects too! There is a strong partnership between the school and the parents, facilitated by clear communication channels such as WhatsApp group and Diibear app, events and excursions that parents can participate in and home-based projects. My daughter has an enriching time with the school and we are truly grateful to the teachers for the care and support that they have provided to her. Thank you, LGH@Sin Ming.
My daughter attended LGH@Sin Ming for almost 2 years. She made friends, loves all her teachers and thoroughly enjoyed her time there. I emailed/called several preschools in the Sin Ming area when I was thinking about switching school for my girl and LGH was the only one to reply within a day and promptly organized a school tour for us. The efficiency displayed and enthusiam shown when we visited impressed us and we liked the chinese immersion concept very much. I can say that the school is very well-run (admin and programmes wise) and staff turnover is low. My daughter had the same Chinese Teachers, Miss Weiwei and Miss Jiang respectively, for her entire time in K1 and K2 and I think the stability and consistency of teaching staff really helped improved her Mandarin speaking ability tremendously as well as other academic aspects and life and social skills. I sincerely thank the teachers and all the staff at Little Green House @ Sin Ming for all the wonderful efforts and love they put into nurturing the children there. ❤️❤️
One of the best decisions we made for our childrens’ education was to enroll them into LGH Sin Ming! We viewed the different preschools around the area and fell in love with LGH after a school tour. As our elder son joined the school midway at N2 and it was still during the covid era, the Principal invited us to have play dates before he started school officially to allow him to familiarize with the environment. That was really helpful because it got him excited to start officially and his first day of school went on like a breeze - all smiles and no tears! I like that the school does have an academic focus but yet with fun elements for the children. I can see the improvement in both of my sons’ mandarin through the mandarin curriculum that LGH Sin Ming offers. Parents are involved through home partnership activities, parties and field trips. The school management and teachers are very welcoming and enduring. It feels like a one big family vibe and a place where we know our kids are in good hands when they are in school. Thank you LGH Sin Ming for the amazing environment for our kids to learn and grow!
After hearing stories from other parents about how it's normal for their kids to cry for weeks (or even months!) when starting playgroup, my husband and I did our best to mentally prepare ourselves when our daughter started at Little Greenhouse Sin Ming. However, we were pleasantly surprised (and relieved) when she only cried for four days! We credit this entirely to the passionate principal, teachers, and staff at the school, who went all out to welcome our little one with open arms. We received timely updates, and were completely assured that our daughter would be in good hands. In fact, we viewed quite a few preschools before deciding on LGH. We were looking for a Chinese immersion programme, and we loved how LGH's curriculum was 80% Mandarin and 20% English. I also wanted a school that would allow my daughter to learn through play and having fun, whilst still having some structure. What really sealed the deal was how the principal offered to bring her children for playdates so that our daughter could get accustomed to the school environment, and even kindly invited us to join their CNY event. And all this was before I even confirmed that we'd be signing up! She made us feel like we're part of a family, and that this school was more interested in our child's wellbeing over earning money. And we continue to feel this way till today. Our daughter's language abilities have also improved immensely since she started at LGH. In fact, she sometimes even replies us in Mandarin when we speak to her in English! Our relatives and friends are always impressed by her standard of Mandarin. She also really loves her teachers, and constantly talks about them at home. Even on holiday, she'd mention that she wants to bring her Chinese teacher to see whatever she's seeing! She was recently away from school for a month due to year-end holidays; but happily walked right into school without any resistance on her first day back. We love how much our daughter loves going to LGH!

Little Green House operates on a monthly recurring fee model and is positioned at the mid-range ($$) price tier. Beyond the monthly programme fee, it is common for playgroup and childcare providers in Singapore to charge a one-off registration fee at enrolment, as well as a deposit equivalent to roughly one to two months' fees, which is typically refundable upon proper notice of withdrawal. Some centres also include a small uniform or insurance levy. Childcare and playgroup fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so you will not be charged Goods and Services Tax on the tuition component. Contact Little Green House directly to confirm the exact monthly rate, registration fee, and any ancillary charges before committing. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in ECDA-licensed childcare centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare — regardless of household income. Working mothers who are employed for at least 56 hours per month may also qualify for the Additional Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy on top of the Basic Subsidy. Families with a gross monthly household income at or below S$12,000 may further qualify for the Additional Subsidy, which can bring the combined monthly support up to S$710 or more depending on income tier. Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at lower quantum. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, so it is strongly recommended that you check the current figures directly with ECDA at ecda.gov.sg before making financial plans. Note that subsidy entitlement depends on the centre holding an ECDA licence — confirm this with Little Green House at the time of enquiry.
Waitlists at playgroup and childcare centres in Singapore are common, particularly for the most sought-after time slots or age groups. For infant care places specifically, families are generally advised to enquire six to twelve months ahead of the intended start date. Even for playgroup programmes, enquiring three to six months in advance is prudent, especially if you are aiming for a January intake, which is the peak enrolment period for most centres. Securing a place typically involves paying a registration fee and, once offered a vacancy, a deposit to hold the slot. Contact Little Green House directly via phone or their enquiry form to check current availability for your child's age group and preferred start month, and ask whether a waitlist exists for any fully subscribed sessions.
