About "Little Joy Play"

Little Joy Play is a playgroup provider operating from Clarke Quay Central in the heart of Singapore. The centre is KakiList verified, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channel. Families interested in enrolling should begin by submitting an enquiry through Little Joy Play's contact form to check slot availability for their intended start month. From there, it is worth arranging a centre visit to observe the daily routine, understand the infant-to-caregiver ratio, and ask about the settling-in period, which helps young children adjust at their own pace. Parents of Singapore citizen children should also enquire about ECDA subsidies, which can meaningfully offset monthly fees depending on household income and the mother's working hours.

To take the next step, use the contact form on this listing to ask about current availability for your child's age group and your preferred start month. Enquiring three to six months ahead is advisable, particularly for younger age groups where places fill quickly.

Really great low sensory play area for the kids who enjoy imaginative play. Cost was only $25 for 3if us for 2 hour play. It was very quiet and lots of space and things to do. Both of kids 3yo and 1yo loved it. Will be back!

Went on a weekend afternoon. Paid for the Main Play Space as my girl is still below 3 years old she can use the Toddler Area as well. Crowd was well controlled. Toys and space are clean and tidy.

Love love it. I could really rest and do my work while my kids were playing. There were toys everywhere like doll houses, trains, mind puzzles, kitchen set, musical instruments etc. My kids don't like noise and the rah rah (e.g. loud play areas with ball pits) and so they were in their comfort zone over here. I highly recommend this place for parents who need some time off as well. Couches were very comfy.

*updated I had a delightful experience returning to this beautiful play area. The facility remains maintained, and the staff, particularly Lina, provided excellent assistance. I was grateful for Lina's help when I needed to briefly step away to use the restroom, as they don't offer a drop-off service. I will certainly be returning in the near future because my son absolutely adores this place! One of the standout features, in addition to the high-quality toys, is the provision of comfortable sofas for parents or guardians. It was a true pleasure to be able to sit back and relax while keeping an eye on the children's playtime. This play area is perfect for encouraging little ones to explore their independence and tap into their boundless imagination. —— What a great indoor playground at Clarke Quay Central. It serves both fun for kiddos and relaxing time for parents as they have a good sofa to sit on while watching your little ones playing. And unlike other indoor playgrounds, this place doesn’t have any slides or any activity that requires bigger muscles (gross motor skills). Instead, the area is more on small wooden toys which encourages structured play like manipulative and construction for fine motor skills. Also serves an open-ended play for the great imagination of our little tots. And lovely staff. :)

I like that there’s a variety of toys to keep my kid entertained. The play area was orderly and the parents there were all pretty helpful in keeping the place safe for all the kids. Remember to bring socks!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Little Joy Play" charge per month?

Little Joy Play charges on a monthly recurring basis and is positioned in the mid-range ($$) for Singapore playgroup providers. Beyond the monthly fee itself, it is common for playgroup and childcare programmes to charge a one-time registration fee and a deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees) when a place is confirmed. Some centres also include a nominal uniform or insurance component in their fee schedule. Childcare and playgroup fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly amount is the amount you pay. Confirm the full breakdown — registration, deposit, and any supplementary charges — in writing before committing. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →

What subsidies can I claim at "Little Joy Play"?

Singapore citizen children attending ECDA-licensed childcare or infant care centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy (up to S$600 per month for infant care, or up to S$300 per month for childcare), which is applied automatically based on enrolment. Working mothers who clock at least 56 hours per month may also qualify for the Additional Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy, which further reduces out-of-pocket costs. For lower-income households, the Additional Subsidy (means-tested) can bring the combined monthly subsidy to as much as S$710 or more. Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at lower quantum. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are subject to periodic revision, so it is important to check the current figures directly with ECDA before making financial plans. Note: subsidy eligibility depends on the centre holding the relevant ECDA licence. Confirm Little Joy Play's licence status directly with the centre before assuming subsidies apply.

Is there a waitlist at "Little Joy Play"?

Demand for playgroup and childcare places in Singapore — particularly for younger age groups — often exceeds supply at well-regarded centres, and popular programmes can fill up three to twelve months in advance. January is the most common intake month, meaning families targeting the start of the year should ideally enquire in the preceding mid-year at the latest. To secure a place, most centres require a completed registration form alongside a registration fee and deposit. Paying these does not always guarantee immediate enrolment if the cohort is full, so it is worth asking Little Joy Play directly about their waitlist process and current availability for your child's age group. Use the contact form on this listing to ask about vacancies for your intended start month and to understand the steps needed to hold a place.
