About Ma Kuang Healthcare (Ang Mo Kio)
Ma Kuang Healthcare (Ang Mo Kio) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic located at City Square Mall on Kitchener Road, serving patients across Singapore. Pricing is positioned at a mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session fees were not provided at the time of listing.
Patients typically begin with an initial consultation, during which the practitioner takes a full health history and identifies the presenting condition or wellness goal — whether that is pain management, fatigue, fertility support, digestive issues, or general health maintenance. TCM treatment plans may combine acupuncture, tuina (therapeutic massage), cupping, moxibustion, or herbal prescriptions depending on the diagnosis. It is worth confirming in advance whether you prefer a single session or a recurring package, as most TCM conditions respond better to a structured course of treatment. Patients with complex or chronic conditions should bring any relevant medical reports to the first visit.
To make an appointment, contact Ma Kuang Healthcare (Ang Mo Kio) by phone or through the enquiry form listed on this page, and confirm the practitioner's availability and the scope of your first consultation before attending.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Went to visit 2weeks back due to knee injury. Had give double Thumbs up to Dr Chang Shun Yee for great explanation and also skills in treating my pains. She was very patient & skilful in her work. She also conversed effectively in both english & chinese. Helpful in understanding the body’s signals. Will recommend!
Clinic is very clean and cosy. The staff manning the counter are patient and helpful, always willing to explain the breakdown of your treatment and help book your next appointment promptly. Their Tuina Therapist, Shi Cong, is very experienced and knowledgeable. I have only been seeing her for a few sessions, but I have felt significant improvements to my knee & back after having issues with them for many years. Would highly recommend this outlet for the convenience-- it's sheltered all the way from the MRT to the clinic-- and the welcoming staff!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mona is an excellent therapist — professional and very attentive. The front desk staff are also friendly and welcoming. Overall a great experience, highly recommended
The clinic is modern and neat. Dr. Mou is patient, kind and a very experienced doctor. Would highly recommend anyone seeking a good TCM physician to visit and seek her guidance.
Friendly service and very efficient. I thought it was a good session with Mona and my shoulder was better, but the base of my head hurt for 2 days after.

Ma Kuang Healthcare (Ang Mo Kio) is priced at a mid-range tier ($$), but specific per-session fees were not provided in the listing — contact the clinic directly for the current consultation rate and package pricing. As a general guide, TCM initial consultations in Singapore typically run S$30–60, with acupuncture or tuina sessions at S$40–90 and herbal prescriptions billed separately at S$20–60 per week of herbs. Confirm whether the first-visit consultation fee is separate from or bundled into any treatment that follows, whether package discounts are available for a committed course of sessions, and the clinic's no-show and cancellation policy before booking. No GP referral is required to attend a TCM clinic in Singapore — you can book directly. At the first visit, the practitioner will conduct a TCM diagnostic assessment covering tongue and pulse examination, a review of your health history, and discussion of your presenting complaint or wellness goal. You may be asked to complete a short intake form on arrival. Bring any relevant medical reports, blood test results, or imaging if you have an existing diagnosed condition, as this helps the practitioner contextualise the TCM assessment. If you intend to claim the cost through an insurance policy or Medisave (which covers specific TCM acupuncture procedures at registered clinics), a GP referral letter may be requested by your insurer — check your policy before attending. For patients with contraindications such as bleeding disorders, pregnancy, or active skin infections at treatment sites, inform the clinic when booking so the practitioner can adjust the treatment plan accordingly.
In Singapore, TCM practitioners are regulated by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. All registered acupuncturists and TCM physicians must hold a valid TCMPB practitioner registration — this is a legal requirement, not a voluntary credential. You can verify any practitioner's registration status on the TCMPB public register at the MOH website before your appointment. Ma Kuang Healthcare is an established TCM group operating multiple clinics in Singapore. However, no regulatory licence details were provided in this listing. Before attending, ask the clinic for the consulting practitioner's full name and TCMPB registration number, and cross-check it on the public register. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
