KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channel. The venue holds a 4.3/5 rating across 590 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reasonable indication of guest experience. Enquiring about a venue hire at Madame Fan Singapore typically begins with confirming your event date, expected headcount, and preferred room layout — standing cocktail, banquet round-table, or theatre seating, each of which will yield a different capacity figure. Clarify whether the venue operates an in-house F&B arrangement with a minimum spend per head, or whether an external caterer is permitted and whether a corkage fee applies. It is worth asking about A/V provision (PA, projector, screen, microphones), aircon operating hours, soundproofing, and any noise curfew. Confirm setup and teardown access windows, which are often outside the core rental period, as well as parking availability and lift or ramp access for guests with mobility needs. If you are planning a wedding solemnisation, ask whether the space is a registered ROM venue or whether a Justice of the Peace must be arranged separately.

To proceed, contact Madame Fan Singapore via phone or the enquiry form with your event date, format, and approximate headcount, then arrange a site recce before paying any deposit.

Had an amazing reunion lunch at Madame Fan with my family! The ambience was lovely and elegant. Needless to say, food was fantastic and flavourful! The fruits Yu Sheng was refreshing and a great hit with kids and adults! The service was top-notch as well. Special thanks to Ejen, Keith and Charlton for being so polite, friendly and attentive. They made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Thank you!

1st time having dim sum brunch here to celebrate our belated birthday. We were seated near corner in the dining hall. Restaurant ambience was good until few big groups of guests came. Table was a small round table for 2, it became a challenge when we ordered too much or food were served too fast. I would prefer square table even for 2 people. For group of 4, 2 square tables are given. Food is delicious, but depends on individuals. We liked the salted egg yolk bun, deep fried sesame ball, steam lobster (garlic), wasabi prawns, pan fried rice noodle roll with char siew, etc. Service standard is a bit of mixture. However, I want to give compliment to Chloe (I think she is a Korean) who has served us. She has given us excellent services, being attentive and always maintain eye contact and genuine smiles every time when interact with us and other guests. For the rest of the staffs, probably they are just tired. When restaurant close at 3pm, we can move over to the lounge to finish our drinks, except that there won’t be any service staffs. Overall, it was a great experience. I will visit again for gathering and celebrations.

Had the dim sum buffet brunch here and found their dim sum quite enjoyable. I personally felt that their dim sum was better than the cooked dishes served. Price is definitely on the high side, but it is worth if you are a big eater. What I liked: fu pi juan, truffle dumpling, foie gras dumpling, har gao, xiao long bao, braised lace noodles, boston lobster, hakka pork belly, squid cake with lotus root What I found alright: siew mai, ham sui gok, sesame prawn toast, XO carrot cake, salted egg yolk custard bun (needs to be saltier), ume wasabi prawn, tangyuan What I disliked: sesame ball (red bean paste was too sweet), braised sliced abalone (not salty enough and too tough), cold dish (didn't like the lemon honey sauce as it was too sweet, seafood was a bit tasteless), peking duck (skin was soggy and overly salty), scallop and okra tofu (very average), egg fried rice (tasteless, needs more salt) Service was in general not bad, but perhaps due to the dim lighting, it was slightly difficult to catch the attention of the staff at times. Overall, I do think it is a place worth trying at least once, but I probably would only be back to splurge on special occasions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Madame Fan Singapore charge?

Madame Fan Singapore prices its spaces as packages, positioned in the mid-to-upper range for Singapore venues. Function rooms at comparable venues in the city typically run S$100–500 per hour with a 2–4 hour minimum, while larger or more premium spaces are quoted on a per-event-package basis (typical S$1,500–8,000+ for a half-day at boutique venues). What's included in a package can vary significantly. Confirm in writing: aircon hours, basic A/V provision (PA, projector, screen), on-site staff, cleaning, and whether setup and teardown access falls within the rental window or attracts an additional charge. Add-ons such as external-caterer corkage, extended-hours surcharges, and photography or videography permits are common and should be itemised before you sign. What capacity and F&B policy does Madame Fan Singapore have?

Capacity figures at Madame Fan Singapore will differ by event format — standing cocktail typically accommodates 1.5–2× the banquet-seated number, with theatre seating falling between the two. Confirm the exact capacity for your chosen layout before setting guest expectations. Madame Fan Singapore operates within a hospitality venue, so it is likely that an in-house F&B minimum spend applies in place of, or alongside, the space rental fee. Clarify whether external caterers are permitted and whether a corkage fee applies, or whether the venue requires use of its own kitchen and service team. If alcohol is part of your event, confirm the bar offering and whether BYO is allowed with corkage. For wedding solemnisations, ask whether the space holds registered ROM venue status or whether you need to arrange a Justice of the Peace separately.

What's the booking and cancellation policy at Madame Fan Singapore?

A deposit of typically 30–50% is standard practice to secure an event date, with the remaining balance due one to two weeks before the event. Popular Saturday evening slots — particularly during the wedding season months of March, April, October, and November — can book out six to twelve months ahead at well-regarded city venues. Before paying your deposit, conduct a site recce to confirm room dimensions, ceiling height, A/V layout, parking arrangements, and accessibility. Put the noise curfew, setup and teardown access times, F&B policy, and rescheduling terms in writing. Reputable venues typically allow a date transfer within six to twelve months in genuine force-majeure situations without forfeiting the deposit — confirm this clause explicitly. Contact Madame Fan Singapore via phone or the enquiry form to check availability for your date.
