About Maid Management Services Pte Ltd
Maid Management Services Pte Ltd is a maid agency operating islandwide from its office at Katong Shopping Centre, Mountbatten Road. It is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. The agency holds a 2.9/5 rating across 19 Google reviews — a small sample that should be treated as directional only. No MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence has been confirmed in the listing data, which is a mandatory requirement for any agency placing foreign domestic workers in Singapore; prospective clients should verify licence status on MOM's online EA directory before proceeding.
When engaging a maid agency, the key cost items to confirm upfront are the placement fee (typically S$1,500–3,500 for a new hire, S$500–1,500 for a transfer helper), the helper's monthly salary (typically S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience), and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if your household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm what is bundled into the placement fee — mandatory FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, the pre-employment medical examination, and Work Permit application — versus what is billed separately. Source-country options typically include Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka, each with different salary norms and skill profiles.

Our family is grateful for Maid Management Services. Our Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW) was transferred to us in 2023 and it’s been a wonderful experience with her ever since. She is a really good with our young toddler, our dog, and my father as well, in addition to enthusiastically keeping our house in order. Thanks to Ms Shani and Ms SL Ang for their quick responses too when we have clarifications. 🙏🏻
Terrible. The helper work for 5 days and ask to go back. I've asked for a refund in Aug and waited until Dec for them to get their act together. They claim that they need to wait for others (insurancers etc) to refund them before they can issue a refund. What a pack of lies as they are 'refunded' the minute the helper finds a new employer. Finally collected refund in Dec. Dishonest and unethical. Do not engage at all cost.
Thank you for your help in our hiring of a helper! We are first time employers, and Ms Ang taught us step by step on how to get the procedures done properly. Very good! So I'm going to leave a detailed walkthrough for all to see what was done. Choosing of helper: She gave us a few choices after hearing our needs. But however, we decided to handpick ourselves because we do not want to do the blaming game if anything goes wrong. We did a face to face interview with our future helper, and liked her immediately. Ms Ang did mention about her flaws to us upfront (slow worker), but we went ahead as this was not a deciding factor for us. Paperworks: We only received a nets slip after confirming and payment. There was an invoice but wasn't given to us. They said they will give us all when the helper is here. I didn't like that idea. Told them to give me official receipt. They gladly complied. So in terms of paperworks, they still need to be more customer centric. Communication: I would say excellent. Ms Ang never forgets about us. She will do a weekly update for us to tell us the progress. From helper training centre, to clearance of visa, to her flight and sip program etc. Dates were tight, and according to schedule. She did warn us about some hiccups which may happen along the way, but did not in the end. She also mentioned about some bad experiences others had before, and told us to be mentally prepared if things go south. I would say she has done an excellent job in this. Email correspondence: She is always busy, and hard to get her on the phone. However, email does work. She replies very quickly, and always give us good pointers along the way. Fetching of helper: We asked for an expedite because of timing clashes. She helped us out and made everything quick for us! All in expected date! We were so grateful for that. Signing off for the documents were smooth. So many documents, all filed up nicely without even needing us to scrutinize. Quality of helper: Everyone is different. Every human has their strengths and weaknesses. Our helper is not a perfect 10/10, but we as employers also are not. It is more of adjusting to each other, being respectful to one another. My family and my helper quickly established the need for honesty and respect by the first day. She is indeed a super slow but very hardworking well-trained new helper. My family likes her a lot, and hope that we can have a lasting working relationship with her. What I like about MMS: - Fast workers. - Good response to you - Responsible - Tells you some hard truth in helper delivery than to color it with lies - Good to negotiate if you are reasonable. What I don't like about MMS: - Hard for a phone chat. - A lot of paperwork procedure is done based on pure trust. I'm very used to signing off every step I complete in a project management pov - they are still using normal free gmail for emails, which can cause reliability concerns to new customers.
Worse agency I ever know. Do not go to this agency. We went there to find a maid. After choosing a maid we waited for 6 weeks and there was no update. Later on we received news that the maid could not come because her daughter was sick. So ok we needed to choose another maid. But because of the delay, we had no choice but was given a lousy selection of maids to choose from. Without interviewing, we took the maid that was recommended by the agent Ms Ang! She said she was good so we took her. But when the maid came she only new how to selfie and hide in the toilet most if the time. 1 day she can visit the toilet 20 times. We had no choice but to ask for replacement. And we decided to choose a other nationality of maid. And guess what, this time we choose a Myanmar maid but also had the same problem as our 1st choice.. the maid could not come because she had no IC. And the news came only after chasing that miss ang for so many times. And we had to choose another maid. Finally when the maid of our choice came, work for us 1 week and said she want to attend classes in sg and request that we give her certain off days. Not too long this maid had to go back for her dad's surgery. We told the agency that your maid is giving us problem again. And request for biodata. Biodatas didn't come after 2 months and they claim that they have no maid to recommend. They said they want to charge us for the cost of the new maid as well.. Very lousy service. I paid so much and trusted the agency but they have no professionalism and blame us that we did not understand their situation. Excuse me I pay u and have to understand u. Then who is there to understand my situation. Very bad service and attitude. The worse I've seen so far. Better don't go or your money and TIME will end up being wasted. Not cheap too. They charge about 3K per maid selection.
Do not engage them. Engage them unless u feel rich and have $3k for them to safe keep for u. Asked to make full payment. Waited for 6mths still no maid. Asked for refund 6mths ago. We didn't have receive the refund. Ms Ang keep saying boss prefer to issue chq for paper work but the boss keep travel oversea. Boss got so much money to travel how come cannot do the refund?

The placement fee for a new hire typically runs S$1,500–3,500 at Singapore maid agencies; a transfer helper (already in Singapore on a valid Work Permit) is generally lower at S$500–1,500. On top of that, budget for the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary for households with a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm what the placement fee bundles in — mandatory FDW insurance (~S$300–600 per year), the Settling-In Programme, pre-employment medical examination, and Work Permit application are sometimes included and sometimes billed on top. Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold an MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is publicly verifiable by name or licence number on MOM's online EA directory at mom.gov.sg. No EA Licence has been confirmed in the current listing data for Maid Management Services Pte Ltd — this is a mandatory licence and its absence from the listing is a flag that warrants direct verification before any payment is made. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; A+ and A grades signal stronger compliance records and better complaint-handling. Hiring through an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if a placement breaks down, and can void your FDW insurance. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
A standard replacement window at Singapore maid agencies is typically six months from the helper's arrival date. Confirm how many replacements are included within that window, what circumstances void the guarantee (for example, a documented mismatch versus buyer's remorse), and the cost of any additional replacements beyond the covered number. Also clarify the early-termination process if a placement breaks down outside the guarantee window — the household is responsible for the repatriation flight, refund of unused MOM levy, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork, and these costs can be significant. Contact Maid Management Services Pte Ltd directly by phone or enquiry form to confirm the current replacement and refund terms before committing.
