Had a pleasant experience engaging Maid Power for my domestic helper. Nilam is very helpful during the selection process and guided me through the interviews smoothly. While I understand that hiring helpers also depend quite a fair bit on luck, I must say that the resumes sent to me were very close to my requirements and I was able to hire 1 shortly after. So far, I have no issues with the helper hired, she is great and extremely diligent with her work. Would recommend those who are looking for Indonesian domestic helpers.

I appreciate that the staff were friendly, but my overall experience has been disappointing and stressful. After I paid the service fee in full, communication became very difficult. WhatsApp messages often went unanswered for days, and I constantly had to follow up just to get basic updates. I was also not advised properly on my options. Since I have two children, I could have applied for a second helper, but the agency only processed a “replacement helper” application without informing me of the alternative. This resulted in major inconvenience, as I was then required to send my existing helper back within a month — a situation that could have been completely avoided if the agency had given me the correct guidance. Additionally, although the measles vaccination is mandatory, the agency did not send my helper for the vaccination because they said they were “not sure” whether it was required. When I picked my helper up, I was made to sign a form stating that I chose not to let her take the jab, which was not the case. During the selection phase, the profiles sent to me often did not match the requirements I had clearly stated. I ended up having to sift through everything myself, which defeated the purpose of using an agency. It felt as though my needs were not understood or taken seriously. Overall, I did not experience any value-added service or proactive support. Everything required repeated reminders from my end, and without constant follow-up, I would simply be ignored. This has caused unnecessary stress, and I feel the service fell far short of what was promised.
