About Maimunah Employment & Management Services
Maimunah Employment & Management Services is a maid agency based at 20 Joo Chiat Road, offering islandwide placement of foreign domestic workers (FDWs) in Singapore. The agency has been KakiList-verified, and holds a 4.5/5 rating across 2,533 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides meaningful signal on service quality. No ACRA registration has been confirmed in the listing data, and no MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence is recorded; families should verify the agency's licence directly on MOM's online EA directory before engaging.
When enquiring, ask about placement options for new-hire helpers versus transfer helpers, as fees and lead times differ significantly. A new-hire placement typically costs S$1,500–3,500, while a transfer helper is generally cheaper at S$500–1,500. Confirm which source countries are available — Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka are common — and discuss the helper's expected monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience). Ask what is bundled into the placement fee: mandatory FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application should all be accounted for. Clarify the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if your household has a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability), and confirm the replacement guarantee window and what circumstances void it.
Reach Maimunah Employment & Management Services via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to discuss your household profile and available helpers.
Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
Decent nasi padang. Can’t go wrong with HJH. Portions are getting smaller with time. Food is nice but sambal belacan could be spicier.
Ordering from the kiosk for takeaway was a waste of time. It’s better to queue. After 30min food not ready for collection. Had to go to the counter then only one of the staffs started to prepare and pack my food. Mdm Intan sarcastically said to her colleagues, “please prepare her food now. She waited for 3 hours”. After collecting the food, reached home to know vegetables given were incorrect (click picture of spinach given cabbage), paru belado was not given in one for my packed food and begedel was not given too.
A perfect place (for me)where you can sit and feast from breakfast > tea break > lunch > tea break > dinner. You won't be judged of what you choose to eat and makciks will merrily ask you to eat more. Sharing table is common during peaks and is like having meals with a family. Kueh, everything is awesome! Salat pulut hitam (salat black glutinous) - best balance with a hint of sweetness Talam ubi (tapioca / white coconut top) - rich salty coconut top with slightly sweet tapioca base Laksa that makes you sweat buckets but doesn't burn your mouth/throat. Not the same as katong laksa. Lunch Grilled Stingray (pari bakar) Jackfruit yellow curry (nangka masak lemak) Tea break Pengat pisang (banana porridge) Dinner Ayam bakar sundanese
The taste of the dishes was not as good as I have tasted previous visit. My dining was at Joo Chiat, the Jln Pisang branch was much better. I am a regular patron of this restaurant so to say what I said, it is regress. Unfortunately that was my experience recently.
Self order your meals in this muslim inspired buffet efficiently serving fresh proteins, rice and vegetables.Reasonably priced

Placement fees vary depending on whether you are hiring a new helper or a transfer helper. A new-hire placement typically runs S$1,500–3,500, while a transfer placement is generally S$500–1,500. On top of this, budget for the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary for households with a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm exactly what is bundled into the placement fee versus billed separately. Mandatory FDW insurance (approximately S$300–600 per year), the Settling-In Programme, pre-employment medical examination, and Work Permit application are standard costs — clarify upfront whether these are included. Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold an MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is verifiable by name or licence number on MOM's online EA directory. No EA Licence number is currently recorded in this listing, so families should confirm it directly with the agency and cross-check on the MOM portal before paying any deposit. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. The EA Grading system runs from A+ to C; A+ and A agencies have stronger compliance and complaint-handling records. Engaging an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if the helper absconds or the agency closes, and can void your FDW insurance. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
The standard industry replacement window is typically six months from the helper's arrival date, though terms vary by agency. Confirm how many free replacements are included, what scenarios void the guarantee — for example, documented incompatibility is usually covered, while a change of mind may not be — and what the cost of additional replacements beyond the guarantee entails. Also clarify the early-termination process if the placement breaks down outside the guarantee window. The household is generally responsible for the repatriation flight, refund of any unused MOM levy, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork. Understanding these costs upfront helps avoid surprises if the arrangement does not work out. Contact Maimunah Employment & Management Services directly via WhatsApp or phone to obtain their current guarantee terms in writing.
