Enquiries typically begin by confirming the event format and headcount, as standing cocktail capacity is usually 1.5–2 times the banquet round-table figure, and ballroom capacity varies by room configuration. Prospective clients should clarify whether in-house F&B is mandatory or whether an external caterer may be engaged (and whether a corkage applies), the A/V provision included in the hire (PA system, projector, screens, microphones, lighting), aircon hours, noise curfew, and setup and teardown access windows — these are often outside the rented event window and must be confirmed separately. Parking is available on-site. Accessibility, including lift access and accessible facilities, should be confirmed for guests with mobility requirements. For wedding solemnisations, confirm whether the specific event space is a registered ROM solemnisation venue or whether a separate Justice of the Peace arrangement is needed.
To begin, contact Marina Bay Sands Events directly by phone or online form, specifying your event date, format, approximate headcount, and any F&B or A/V requirements, and request a site recce before committing to any deposit.
Do a site recce, confirm capacity for your specific event format (cocktail / banquet / theatre), and put the F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, setup/teardown access, and rescheduling terms in writing before paying the deposit.
Beautiful scenery inside and outside. Lots of tourist taking the sampan ride videos and photos especially during the rain oculus/vortex. High end shopping mall connected to the expo and convention centre. Crowded on weekends especially during christmas and CNY season. If you love high end luxury, this is the place to visit in SG.
Great race pack collection experience! The process at Sands Expo & Convention Centre was very smooth and well-organized. Clear signage and helpful staff made everything easy and efficient, with minimal waiting time. The venue is spacious, comfortable, and easy to access. Plus, the race expo was a nice bonus with plenty of interesting booths and deals!🥳
We came for the food court and we were not disappointed. A wide range of choices and it was all delicious. It’s a bit crowded as all of the food courts tended to be but we did not have to wait long and were able to find a seat without having to wait. We want to go back to try some of the other stalls as it all looked great!
Visited the Singapore Comic Con 2025. Pretty good exprience & packed with lots of people. Especially unique are those dressed in Cosplay costumes. Check out my picts. Really awesome & applaud them for their innovation, courage & efforts. However, parking at MBS is really danm expensive lol.
When people think of Marina Bay Sands, they think of skyline views and luxury suites — but what truly surprised me was how seamlessly business and wellness coexist within the same resort. Just steps (okay, many steps — because everything here is a walk!) from my Tower 2 room, the Sands Expo & Convention Centre unfolds like a small city of its own. Spanning multiple levels, this is where global conferences, galas, and brand showcases happen daily — yet despite its size, it feels organized, elegant, and calm. I loved walking through its marble halls, glass corridors, and high ceilings that made even the busiest moments feel light and open. During my stay, I also made time to explore the Marina Bay Sands Fitness Club, located right within the Convention Centre complex. It was one of my favorite surprises. Bright, modern, and fully equipped — rows of cardio machines, free weights, mats, and the kind of quiet energy that makes you want to linger. After days of walking, dining, and sightseeing, my workouts there helped me rebalance. The team was attentive, with chilled towels and water always ready — service as polished as anywhere else on property. I can’t stress this enough: everything connects. From the hotel towers to the shopping promenade, the gym, and the conference floors — Marina Bay Sands is designed to make every transition effortless. It’s business, leisure, and wellness under one architectural dream. 📌 Pro Tips: • Plan extra time between sessions — the Convention Centre is massive and beautifully walkable. • Bring comfortable shoes if you’re attending a conference; the distances are longer than they look. • Visit the Fitness Club at least once — even a quick stretch or walk on the treadmill with that skyline view feels renewing. ✨ Make sure to check out my other posts for the next stops on my Singapore journey — from Gardens by the Bay & Supertree Observatory to Jade at The Fullerton and the incredible Jewel Changi Airport. - Michelle

Marina Bay Sands Events operates on a package-based pricing model, and rates vary significantly by event space, format, and date. As a general market reference, function rooms in Singapore typically run S$100–500 per hour with a 2–4 hour minimum, while ballroom spaces command S$300–1,500 or more per hour. Full-day ballroom packages at large integrated venues often range from S$8,000 to S$30,000 or beyond. Itemise the full cost before signing: aircon hours, basic A/V (PA, projector, screen), on-site staff, cleaning fee, and the setup and teardown window (which may fall outside the rented event period and carry an additional charge). Add-ons to confirm include in-house F&B minimum spend or external-caterer corkage, liquor corkage if bringing your own beverages, extended-hours surcharges, and any photography or videography permit requirements. Marina Bay Sands Events hosts a range of event spaces, and capacity varies by room and configuration. As a general guide, standing cocktail capacity is typically 1.5–2 times the banquet round-table figure, with theatre seating sitting between the two — confirm the exact figures for your chosen space before inviting guests. For F&B, large integrated resort venues commonly operate an in-house F&B minimum spend per person that effectively replaces the hall rental charge. If you wish to engage an external caterer, confirm whether this is permitted, whether a corkage applies per person, and whether there is an approved-caterer list. Liquor arrangements — house wine list versus bring-your-own with corkage — should also be clarified in writing. For wedding solemnisations, ask whether the specific event space holds registered ROM venue status or whether you will need to arrange a Justice of the Peace independently.
A deposit — typically 30–50% of the total package value — is required to secure the event date, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. Popular Saturday evenings at large venues in Singapore book out six to twelve months ahead, particularly during peak wedding seasons in March–April and October–November, so early enquiry is advisable. Before paying the deposit, confirm the noise curfew (typically 10–11pm for venues in or adjacent to residential zones), parking arrangements for guests, accessibility provisions (lift, ramp, accessible toilets), and what the rescheduling or postponement terms are if a force-majeure situation arises — reputable venues generally allow rescheduling within six to twelve months without forfeiting the deposit. A site recce during a comparable event or during business hours is strongly recommended before committing. Put all key terms — F&B policy, A/V inclusions, setup and teardown windows, noise curfew, and cancellation conditions — in writing before signing.
