OUTSTANDING! If you're looking for a physiotherapist that truly cares about your physical wellbeing in the present and building towards your future......work with Andrew! He is simply the best I have encountered.....and I have seen MANY and in many different countries! Excellent equipment in the studio. Can work alongside a PT instructor or recommend one that will suit you. A genuine professional 👏

I walked into Milestone Physiotherapy with terrible back/shoulder pain (minor tears in my spine) and walked out 8 weeks later pain free. Andrew is an amazing physiotherapist and his exercises really helped me gain mobility and strength in my back and shoulders (something I had given up on). My grip strength improved from 12 to 22 in no time. He helped me stay consistent and committed to my exercises with kind encouragement. This is a fantastic place for recovery and Andrew has been an excellent therapist. Highly recommend Milestone Physiotherapy to anyone that’s in pain and looking to do something about it!

Around a year ago, I received a referral to Andrew due to a knee cartilage issue related to my football activities. After roughly four months of committed rehabilitation, I managed to make a full recovery, allowing me to return to the football field. This year, I went with Andrew for ACL prehab and rehab after fully tearing my ACL, and I've been incredibly pleased with the progress. Andrew consistently demonstrates a remarkable level of support and professionalism as he guides me on my path to recovery. I would enthusiastically recommend him to my friends in need of physiotherapy. 👍🏼 What sets him apart is his firsthand understanding of the demands of football, as he's a footballer himself!

I had my ankle ligaments torn out and did not see much improvement after trying many physiotherapists in Singapore. Andrew is really outstanding, extremely skilled, always very encouraging, he made me work on the right points and the progress has been beyond my expectations. The environment is very nice (brand new place) and the place is open on Saturday/Sunday too, which is very convenient In short, you should give a try and will see the difference..

I’ve been seeing Timothy Lau for a shoulder injury and I’m very grateful for his care. Not only is he professional and knowledgeable in his treatment, he also takes the time to explain what is happening with my shoulder in a way that I can understand. What stood out most is that he shared practical tips and exercises I could do at home and at gym which really supported my recovery between sessions. His genuine care and encouragement made the process much easier and gave me confidence that I was on the right track. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for effective physiotherapy with a personal touch!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Milestone Physiotherapy (Katong) charge per session?

Physiotherapy session fees in Singapore typically range from S$80–180 for an initial assessment and S$60–150 for follow-up sessions at private clinics, though pricing varies by treatment type and session duration. Package rates for multiple sessions are often available at a slight discount over single-session pricing. A first-consultation or assessment fee may be charged separately before the treatment plan is confirmed. Confirm the exact per-session rate, whether materials such as strapping tape or electrotherapy consumables are billed separately, and the no-show or late-cancellation policy before your first appointment. GST applies on private physiotherapy services in Singapore. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

A GP or specialist referral is not required to book a private physiotherapy appointment in Singapore — you can self-refer directly. However, if you intend to claim under an integrated shield plan, corporate insurance, or MediSave (where applicable for certain conditions), your insurer may require a referral letter or memo from a registered medical practitioner, so it is worth checking your policy before your visit. At the first visit, you will typically complete an intake form covering your medical history, the mechanism of injury or onset of symptoms, previous treatments, and any relevant imaging or surgical reports. Bring along any X-rays, MRI scans, or specialist discharge summaries, as these help the physiotherapist design an appropriate treatment plan from the outset. Certain conditions — such as acute post-operative recovery or neurological rehabilitation — benefit from coordinated communication between your physiotherapist and your surgeon or physician.

Is the practitioner licensed?

Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is renewed periodically and is publicly verifiable on the AHPC online register at healthprofessionals.gov.sg — search by the physiotherapist's full name to confirm current registration status before your first session. AHPC registration confirms that the practitioner has met Singapore's minimum educational and clinical competency standards. For specialist areas such as sports physiotherapy, hand therapy, or neurological rehabilitation, ask whether the treating therapist holds any post-graduate certification or has completed recognised continuing education in that domain, as AHPC registration alone does not differentiate general from specialist practice. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the AHPC public register before treatment.
