Patients typically begin with an initial consultation in which the physiotherapist takes a full history, assesses mobility, strength, and posture, and discusses the presenting condition or rehabilitation goal. From there, a personalised treatment plan is drawn up covering session frequency, likely modalities (manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, or dry needling as appropriate), and whether a recurring package or individual sessions better suits the case. Cancellation and no-show policies vary by practice and are worth clarifying at the time of booking.
To arrange an appointment, reach Mind & Movement via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form. Bring any relevant referral letters, imaging reports, or GP notes to your first session so the physiotherapist can assess your condition thoroughly from the outset.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
remedy by Duan was really professional and the experience was good. he knew how to release and find the soreness and tightness in the muscle areas that i didn't know i had. Had this chronic upper back ache that wouldn't go away and he taught me exercises to strengthen the muscle and to resolve my back issue by finding the root cause even when specialists who did all the scans in the hospital couldn't. Definitely recommend people to come to this place to get your body aligned.
Diego has been my Physiotherapist ever since I was diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in both knees which required Total Knee Replacement. I was referred to Diego by other regular clients who recommended him based on his expertise and professionalism. He is skillful at diagnosing the main issues. Through the use of different treatment techniques eg functional rehab, therapeutic exercises etc, he customizes treatment plans that result in pain relief, reduced stiffness thus improving physical mobility and overall quality of life. I no longer live with pain, tight muscles and swollen legs. And best of all I can climb stairs with ease, travel, walk long distances and dance again. Diego is a strong believer in continuing physiotherapy education and frequently travels to upgrade his knowledge and skills . This directly benefits his clients. The facilities and equipment in Mind & Movement are kept up to date. The studio is clean, bright and there are rooms for individual sessions.
Really nice location. Here to see duan/riduan (Remedy by Duan) , who I have been seeing for over a year. He knows his stuff and has good instincts for both massage and rehab exercises. Not pushy, but will keep your on track for your physio. Helped me improve my stiff shoulder and got grip strength back after a big hand operation. Recommended! Prices and rates are competitive too.
Duan is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Was introduced by a friend, and his targeted stretches, movements and exercises have really helped me target my weak areas. Weekly sessions are very therapeutic, and his sports massage, coupled with his specific advice, have definitely helped make me more sprightly. Highly recommended
I recently underwent treatment for a stubborn frozen shoulder with Duan, and the experience has been nothing short of transformative. From the outset, he displayed a remarkable blend of professionalism and compassion, taking the time to thoroughly understand my concerns and tailor a targeted treatment plan. Duan's expertise in addressing frozen shoulder is unparalleled. The exercises and techniques recommended not only alleviated the pain but also significantly improved my range of motion. If you are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate therapist to address any musculoskeletal issues, I wholeheartedly recommend Duan. His commitment to patient well-being and exceptional treatment approach makes him a standout professional in the field.

Mind & Movement has not published a session rate publicly, so fees should be confirmed directly before booking. As a general reference, physiotherapy consultations in Singapore typically run S$80–180 per session at private clinics, with initial assessments sometimes priced higher than follow-up sessions. Package deals covering a fixed number of sessions are common and usually offer a modest reduction per visit. Confirm whether your first-visit fee differs from subsequent sessions, whether materials or consumables (such as taping or dry-needling needles) are billed separately, and the clinic's cancellation and no-show policy before committing. Some insurers and corporate health plans reimburse physiotherapy — check your policy's panel or reimbursement limit in advance. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →
A GP or specialist referral is not required to book physiotherapy at a private clinic in Singapore — you can self-refer directly. That said, bringing a referral letter or any relevant imaging (X-rays, MRI reports) helps the physiotherapist understand your diagnosis faster and tailor the initial assessment accordingly. At the first visit, expect an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, pain levels, and functional goals. The physiotherapist will then conduct a hands-on physical assessment before outlining a treatment approach. If your condition involves a complex diagnosis (post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological conditions, or chronic pain), a GP referral may also support an insurance claim, so it is worth checking your insurer's requirements beforehand.
Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is verifiable on the AHPC public register at https://www.ahpc.gov.sg — search by name before your first appointment. Mind & Movement does not currently list its regulatory licences on this KakiList profile, so it is advisable to ask the clinic directly for the treating physiotherapist's AHPC registration number and confirm it on the public register. This is a standard and reasonable request — any legitimate practitioner will provide it without hesitation. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
