Patients typically begin with a first consultation during which the practitioner conducts pulse diagnosis and tongue examination to assess constitution and presenting complaint. Whether you are seeking acupuncture, tuina, cupping, or herbal medicine, it is worth confirming which modalities are available, the number of sessions typically recommended for your condition, and whether single sessions or recurring packages are on offer. Bring any relevant medical history or recent blood work, and flag any ongoing medications to allow the practitioner to advise on potential herb-drug interactions.
To make an enquiry or book an appointment, reach MK TCM Medical Centre by phone or via the contact form on their listing. Confirming session availability and your specific treatment goals before your first visit will help the practitioner prepare an appropriate care plan.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Went to visit 2weeks back due to knee injury. Had give double Thumbs up to Dr Chang Shun Yee for great explanation and also skills in treating my pains. She was very patient & skilful in her work. She also conversed effectively in both english & chinese. Helpful in understanding the body’s signals. Will recommend!
Clinic is very clean and cosy. The staff manning the counter are patient and helpful, always willing to explain the breakdown of your treatment and help book your next appointment promptly. Their Tuina Therapist, Shi Cong, is very experienced and knowledgeable. I have only been seeing her for a few sessions, but I have felt significant improvements to my knee & back after having issues with them for many years. Would highly recommend this outlet for the convenience-- it's sheltered all the way from the MRT to the clinic-- and the welcoming staff!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mona is an excellent therapist — professional and very attentive. The front desk staff are also friendly and welcoming. Overall a great experience, highly recommended
The clinic is modern and neat. Dr. Mou is patient, kind and a very experienced doctor. Would highly recommend anyone seeking a good TCM physician to visit and seek her guidance.
Friendly service and very efficient. I thought it was a good session with Mona and my shoulder was better, but the base of my head hurt for 2 days after.

TCM consultation fees in Singapore typically range from S$20–60 for the consultation itself, with acupuncture sessions running S$40–80 and herbal medicine prescriptions billed separately at S$20–80 per week depending on formula complexity. Tuina and cupping are commonly priced at S$50–100 per session. MK TCM Medical Centre displays a '$$' price indicator, suggesting mid-range positioning, but exact per-session fees are not published — contact the centre directly to confirm current rates. Some MediSave-approved TCM clinics allow partial MediSave claims for specific conditions; confirm with MK TCM Medical Centre whether they participate in this scheme. A no-show or late-cancellation policy is standard at most TCM practices, so clarify this before booking. See the full TCM cost guide for Singapore →
No referral is required to visit MK TCM Medical Centre. Your first visit will typically begin with a consultation in which the practitioner takes a full health history, assesses pulse and tongue, and discusses your presenting complaint or wellness goal before recommending a treatment plan. An intake form covering current medications, allergies, and existing medical conditions is usually completed at registration. If you are managing a complex or chronic condition — particularly one involving prescription medications — bringing a recent GP or specialist letter can help the TCM practitioner coordinate care safely. Patients who are pregnant, post-surgical, or managing cardiovascular conditions should flag this at booking, as some modalities carry specific contraindications that the practitioner will want to account for.
TCM practitioners in Singapore are regulated by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. Registration is mandatory for anyone practising acupuncture, prescribing TCM herbs, or performing tuina commercially. You can verify any practitioner's registration on the TCMPB public register at moh.gov.sg before booking. Note that MK TCM Medical Centre's regulatory licences are not listed in the current KakiList data — this may simply reflect a data gap rather than an absence of registration. It is advisable to ask the centre to confirm the treating practitioner's TCMPB registration number directly, which any legitimate practice will provide without hesitation. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
