As first-time homeowners, we were honestly quite nervous about the whole renovation process — timeline, workmanship, cost, and whether we’d end up with a home that actually feels like “us”. We’re so glad we engaged this ID team. Our designer Ezann was amazing from the start. She’s full of practical ideas, has a great eye for design, and was very patient and accommodating with our requests. Even when we were still exploring our style and changing our minds here and there (first-time owner problems 😅), Ezann guided us clearly and helped us make decisions that made sense — aesthetically and functionally. Our project manager Bryan was equally outstanding. He took full charge of coordination, work quality, and progress updates, and we really felt we could trust him. What impressed us most was how he consistently went the extra mile — he even helped to collect items we bought from different shops around Singapore and arranged them to be handed over properly to his workers for installation. That kind of effort and responsibility is rare. After the renovation, Bryan also took the initiative to come down for a site visit after we moved in to check on everything, ensure there were no defects, and address any touch-ups needed. That after-sales follow up gave us a lot of peace of mind. Overall, the experience was smooth, professional, and reassuring — exactly what first-time homeowners need. We recently engaged Monomer Studio to design and renovate our new BTO, and it’s been a really pleasant experience from start to finish. Ezann, Janson and Wee Keat (in the early stages) took the time to understand what we wanted for our home. What we really appreciated was how they respected our budget and always offered different options so we could make the best choices without overspending. The renovation was completed on schedule, and in the end we got exactly what we envisioned — our home turned out beautifully, and we’ve even received compliments from guests about the design and overall aesthetic. As first-time homeowners, we were thankful to have worked with Ezann and Bryan on our renovation journey. The two of them made a great team, with Ezann focusing on the design aspects and Bryan managing the contractors and project coordination, striking a great balance between aesthetics and practicality. They were consistently responsive to our questions and always ready to offer practical suggestions, while still respecting our preferences and decisions. We really appreciated that their advice often came from both their professional experience and their own journey as homeowners, which made their feedback especially relatable and useful. Throughout the renovation, they provided timely updates, kept us in the loop on progress, and shared videos along the way. We also appreciated how transparent they were in communicating any challenges or issues, and how they proactively suggested alternatives and checked in with us whenever decisions were needed. They followed up closely on our feedback and made sure every detail was well taken care of. The final renovation cost followed closely to the initial quotation, less the variation orders that we requested for. The duo proposed additional optional works that would beautify the place (e.g limewash painting for living room wall) but were not pushy about the final decision. We were referred and introduced to Monomer Studio through an acquaintance based on a previous warehouse renovation job that they did. They came highly recommended and after a few meetings, it didn’t take long for us to decide to engage them. Victor and especially Justin, was very thorough and mindful in listening to the plans we had for our 3 room BTO(sales of balance). We basically laid down our ideas and visuals of how we wanted the house to look like, and they helped us tweak and suggest and improve on every aspect of it. The whole process went by so smoothly and the end product came out way better then we’ve ever imagined. We also informed them that we have only a certain amount of budget for the whole renovation and they somehow managed to stick to it. (even though we think we might have actually went overbudget😆). The timeframe set was also perfectly planned and the whole house was done in within the stated deadline. In fact they finished way earlier than expected. Carpentry was excellent,light fixtures chosen by Justin were great and aesthetic, and materials selected were of great quality. Overall very highly satisfied with the job Justin, Victor and the whole Monomer Studios team have done. Highly recommended !!
