About MoveFree Physio

About MoveFree Physio

MoveFree Physio is a physiotherapy practice based at Royal Square@Novena, serving clients islandwide. The listing has been verified by KakiList, and the clinic holds a 5/5 rating across 110 Google reviews, which represents a robust sample and is a strong positive signal. No ACRA registration has been confirmed in the data available, and no regulatory licences are listed — prospective clients should verify the practising physiotherapists' registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) before booking.

The typical patient journey at a physiotherapy practice begins with a first consultation where the practitioner takes a detailed history of your presenting condition — whether that is musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury, or a chronic mobility issue. Following an initial assessment, the physiotherapist will outline a treatment plan that may combine manual therapy, exercise prescription, dry needling, or electrotherapy. You can expect to discuss session frequency, whether you prefer a single-session approach or a recurring package, and the clinic's cancellation policy before committing.

To take the next step, contact MoveFree Physio by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to book a first consultation and confirm availability at the Novena centre.

I’ve been seeing Judee for my ACL and MCL injury, both before and after my surgery, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better physio to guide me through this journey. Before the operation, Judee helped me strengthen my knee and stay positive, which really made a difference going into surgery. She is patient, encouraging, and always made sure I was progressing safely but steadily. Even when she is away on leave, she will ensure her covering knows my stage of recovery. Rehab after ACL surgery isn’t easy, but having someone who truly cares and knows how to push you just the right amount makes all the difference. There's always progression after each session and my recovery seems to be on target. Thanks to Judee and her team, I’ve regained strength, confidence, and mobility faster than I expected — and actually looked forward to each session! I’m so grateful for all the support and motivation throughout this process. Highly recommend MoveFree to anyone recovering from a knee injury or surgery.

I have been doing my post-ACL surgery rehab at MoveFree Physiotherapy (Novena) for the past four months, and I honestly could not be happier with the experience. My physiotherapist, Melaine, is incredibly professional, patient, and friendly. She always explains what we are doing and why, and she really pays attention to how my knee is responding each week. Because of her guidance, my recovery has been smooth and steady, and I have gained a lot of confidence in using my leg again. The sessions are well structured, supportive, and never rushed. Nad and Jas at the front desk are also always friendly and joyful, which makes every visit a pleasant one. Highly recommended.

I was referred to MoveFree - Novena by my orthopaedic clinic, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place for my recovery. I’ve been seeing Melanie since early December 2025 for my ACL and meniscus injury, both before and after surgery. Melanie prepared me well pre-op and taught me the exercises I needed post-op. Doing the exercises at home post op for 2 weeks, made a huge difference in my recovery. I am currently 7weeks+ post-operation and can see steady progress and improvements. Melanie is very attentive and detailed. She is knowledgeable and knows exactly when to introduce the appropriate exercises, progressively challenging me while ensuring my recovery stays safe and on track. She has very keen eyes and is able to spot any incorrect posture or movement, and guide me towards moving correctly. Every rep feels purposeful, every session is fruitful, and I leave feeling better and a little stronger each time. As a recovering person, I truly feel safe and in good hands, which has helped me regain not just strength and mobility, but also confidence. It has been an enjoyable and positive recovering journey so far. I still have 45 weeks to go! I look forward to working with Mel and eventually get back to playing badminton. Everyone at MoveFree - Novena is so friendly and helpful. The team creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It feels like a fun and positive environment to be in. It’s the kind of place that makes recovery feel less daunting and a lot more encouraging

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does MoveFree Physio charge per session?

Physiotherapy session fees in Singapore typically range from S$80 to S$180 per session at private clinics, with an initial assessment often priced slightly higher than follow-up visits. MoveFree Physio displays a '$$' pricing indicator, suggesting mid-range pricing, though exact figures are not published in the listing — contact the clinic directly for a current fee schedule. Many clinics offer package pricing for a fixed number of sessions, which can reduce the per-session cost. Check whether your Integrated Shield Plan or corporate insurance covers private physiotherapy, as some plans reimburse partially with a referral letter from a GP or specialist. GST applies to physiotherapy services at private clinics. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

You do not need a GP or specialist referral to book a private physiotherapy appointment — you can self-refer directly. However, if you intend to claim from an Integrated Shield Plan or corporate insurer, a referral letter may be required by your insurer to qualify for reimbursement, so check your policy before your first visit. At your first appointment, expect to complete an intake form covering medical history, current medications, past surgeries, and your presenting symptoms. The physiotherapist will then conduct a physical assessment before recommending a treatment plan. If your condition involves contraindications — such as undiagnosed fractures, active infection, or post-operative restrictions — the physiotherapist may request a medical report or imaging results before proceeding.

Is the practitioner licensed?

Physiotherapists in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is mandatory and can be verified on the AHPC public register at ahpc.edu.sg — search by the practitioner's full name before booking. No regulatory licences are listed for MoveFree Physio in the current KakiList data, so prospective clients should confirm the practising physiotherapist's AHPC registration number directly with the clinic. A registered physiotherapist will typically display their registration certificate in the treatment room. If the clinic employs multiple therapists, confirm the registration status of the specific person who will treat you, particularly if your condition is complex or post-surgical.
