About My Gentle Foods (GentleFoods)

About My Gentle Foods (GentleFoods)

My Gentle Foods (GentleFoods), operating under the Eldercare meal delivery category, provides islandwide food delivery services tailored for seniors. The listing is KakiList-verified, and the provider holds a 4.7/5 rating across 55 Google reviews — a moderate sample that lends reasonable weight to the score. No ACRA registration or regulatory licences are currently on record for this listing, which prospective clients should note and clarify directly with the provider.

For families considering meal delivery for an elderly parent or relative, the usual starting point is a conversation about dietary requirements — swallowing difficulties, texture-modified or minced-and-moist diets, low-sodium or diabetic-friendly options, and any allergies or cultural food preferences. It is worth confirming the daily delivery schedule, the number of meals covered per day, packaging (whether containers are microwave-safe and easy to open for those with limited dexterity), and whether there is a minimum subscription period or a trial option before committing to a longer plan. Families coordinating care across multiple decision-makers may also want to understand how order changes or pauses are handled, and what the process is if a delivery is missed.

To get started, reach out to My Gentle Foods (GentleFoods) via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to discuss the senior's dietary needs, preferred delivery slots, and coverage for your specific address.

This is my second time listening to the nutrition talk at SLEC NorthShore. I really enjoyed it and loved Lara's presentation skills and ability to keep our attention. After the nutrition talk, Si Qi gladly helped me to find locations on where to buy the sourdough bread and healthier butter. I changed from eating white bread everyday to eating sourdough bread everyday, and saw an improvement in my health.

I am skeptical about the food at first when l saw my dad eating it. After l ordered it upon his discharge l realized the benefits of it. I really appreciate the team who could come up with these food that can help my father who has swallowing difficulties. Thank you for expediting my order when l realized that l have run out of the food.

Mango lassi was sweet but yet easy to swallow and digest. Had a fun experience too knowing them through Manulife symposium 2025!

Very grateful for their offerings. My grandma stays in a nursing home but i am glad that gentle foods have available pureed meals, snacks and desserts to give her more variety. I find the litmus test for something good that elderly with dysphagia is willing to take (hence sustainig their energy and strength) is when a normal person finds it appealing too. Its not easy to make food thats appealing to the layman, especially pureed food. So a special shoutout to their "avocado pudding with chocolate" containing protein and dietary fibre thats something i would gladly take myself! Adding some photos here as it was hard to find the shop the first time i looked for it, its located outside facing the main road!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does My Gentle Foods (GentleFoods) charge?

My Gentle Foods (GentleFoods) displays a '$$' price indicator, but specific per-meal or per-day rates are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the provider. In the Singapore senior meal delivery market, pricing typically depends on the number of meals per day, the dietary specification (standard, texture-modified, low-sodium, diabetic-friendly), and the subscription duration — daily, weekly, or monthly plans are common, with longer commitments usually offering a lower per-meal rate. When enquiring, confirm whether delivery charges are included, whether there is a minimum order period, and what the cancellation or pause policy is. Ask specifically about any surcharge for addresses outside the central region, as islandwide delivery can carry additional logistics costs. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →

Live-in or visit-based — which does My Gentle Foods (GentleFoods) offer?

My Gentle Foods (GentleFoods) is a meal delivery service, not a home care or caregiver placement service. It does not provide live-in or visit-based caregiving. Its scope is the preparation and islandwide delivery of meals suited to seniors' dietary and nutritional needs. For families combining meal delivery with broader care arrangements — for example, a part-time caregiver who assists with feeding, or a live-in helper — meal delivery services like this one can complement but do not replace hands-on care. If the senior requires assistance with eating, swallowing monitoring, or clinical nutritional support, those needs should be addressed separately through a home nursing or eldercare provider registered with AIC or MOH.

Is the food prepared safely and is My Gentle Foods (GentleFoods) licensed?

No regulatory licences are currently recorded for My Gentle Foods (GentleFoods) on this listing. Food businesses operating in Singapore, including meal delivery services, are generally required to hold an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence, and the premises at FoodXchange, 8A Admiralty Street, is a commercial food production facility. Families should ask the provider directly to confirm their SFA licence number and hygiene grade — Singapore's NEA hygiene grading system runs from A (highest) to D. For seniors on texture-modified diets (IDDSI levels 3–7), it is also worth asking whether meals are prepared by or in consultation with a dietitian or speech therapist to ensure appropriate consistency and nutritional adequacy. Confirm packaging, temperature control during delivery, and the process if a delivery arrives late or is missed.
