About Nascans
Nascans is a tuition centre operating from Bukit Timah Road, with coverage across Singapore. The listing is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. Its current Google rating stands at 1.6 out of 5 across 34 reviews — a moderate sample, though the low score warrants careful consideration before enrolling. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific session or monthly fees are not publicly listed.
For families considering Nascans, the typical starting point is to enquire about subject and level alignment — confirming whether the tutors cover the relevant MOE syllabus, IB, IGCSE, or other curriculum your child follows. It is worth asking whether classes are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, and whether a trial class is available before committing to a term. Clarify whether lessons are held in-person at the Bukit Timah Road centre or offered online, and what the minimum term commitment looks like.
To take the next step, reach out to Nascans via phone or their online enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's level, request details on the trial class, and confirm tutor credentials before signing up. Listing data is incomplete — contact Nascans directly to confirm details.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
1)There was once the teacher say do not talk or else you will do reflection but a another teacher was behind, but then i needed something from my friend so then I softly tell my friend what I need then the teacher said write reflection like what ,the teacher is right behind me of course can hear me. 2) The food tastes does not taste good can be improved .
Please change management or close down completely. Complaints aplenty for years but nothing has been rectified. If you don't have pride running your business/ offering a decent service, please give others a chance to do it.
1)One time the teacher say no talking when I was doing work l needed to ask my friend to help me so I ask my friend after that the teacher force me to do reflection 2) I eat the food the food need to improve 3) One time my friend wanted to ask my teacher to go to his classroom to his parents what time he can go home suddenly he started scolding him for no reason
Very bad food got no taste teacher all ways screaming and make the whole class stand for just talking softly. Got scolded very bad, other students all so say bad they all already left the nascans.
I enrolled my sons at NASCANS at Teck Ghee Primary School in 2020 to 2021, hoping that they would receive excellent care. However, I was disappointed with the services provided. Despite being listed as a leading student care brand with over 25 locations in partner MOE schools, the management control for their school-based services was mediocre at best. The food choices were limited, and my sons had to settle for whatever the school canteen offered, even when some of the stalls were already closed for the day. Due to Covid measures, they were not allowed to move around in their class, which made them feel practically imprisoned to their seats from 2pm to 6pm. The teachers changed all the time, so there was a lack of consistency and dedication. Moreover, one of my sons was bullied by others right under their nose, and they did nothing about it. Overall, I cannot recommend NASCANS at Teck Ghee Primary School based on my experience.

Nascans has not publicly listed its session fees, so you will need to enquire directly for a current quote. In general, tuition centres in Singapore charge on a per-session, monthly package, or per-term basis. Per-session rates typically vary by subject, level, and class format — group classes tend to be more affordable than one-to-one tuition. Ask whether there is a separate registration fee, whether materials or workbooks carry an additional charge, and whether sibling or multi-subject discounts apply. Some centres offer a reduced fee or complimentary first session as a trial before full commitment. See the full tuition centre cost guide for Singapore →
Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class — either at a reduced rate or occasionally complimentary — before asking families to commit to a monthly or term package. Nascans has not publicly confirmed its trial class policy, so it is worth asking directly when you make your initial enquiry. When attending a trial, look at whether the pace of teaching suits your child's current level, whether the tutor can explain concepts in ways that engage your child, and whether the class size allows for adequate individual attention. A single session is usually enough to gauge whether the teaching style and environment are a good fit.
Nascans has not publicly disclosed information about its tutors' qualifications or backgrounds. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold a degree in the relevant subject, whether any have prior MOE teaching experience or NIE training, and how long they have been teaching at the centre. Also confirm whether tutors are familiar with the specific syllabus your child is following — MOE, IB, IGCSE, or AP — as alignment here directly affects how useful the sessions will be. If this information is not forthcoming before enrolment, treat that as a signal to probe further before committing to a term.
