When enquiring, it is worth booking four to six months before your expected due date, as demand for reputable confinement nannies typically outpaces supply, with popular practitioners filling their calendars six to twelve months in advance. Discuss whether the nanny covers a standard 28-day engagement or an extended 56-day arrangement, and clarify whether overnight care is included throughout or only for the first fortnight. Confirm food preferences early — Cantonese herbal soups, specific tonic recipes, or dietary restrictions will affect which nanny is the best fit — and ask whether the nanny prepares the mother's confinement meals directly or works alongside a separate food catering arrangement. The difference between agency-placed and freelance nannies matters too: an agency typically offers a documented replacement policy if the match does not work out, whereas a freelance arrangement may carry lower cost but less recourse.
To get started, reach out to NewLife Confinement Centre via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check nanny availability for your expected confinement month and arrange an interview before placing a deposit.
Interview the nanny before booking, agree the food and overnight terms in writing.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the New Life Confinement Centre, and I must say it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly cared for. My nanny, Auntie Fanny, is a gem—her meticulous attention to detail and warm, kind nature made my stay feel extra special. She ensured everything I needed was taken care of, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after me and my baby. As a FTM, Auntie Fanny’s experience is truly helpful and has guided me and given me and hubs a strong foundation for parent hood. She’s logical in her approach and set up a well routine for us as we pace towards heading home. If you’re staying there soon and reading this, look for Auntie Fanny ;) The food was another highlight of my stay—delicious, nutritious, and comforting. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared, and I genuinely looked forward to every bite. The place is really quiet and peaceful, if you’re looking for somewhere to rejuvenate after giving birth, this is the place to be. You can always text Sophia for anything you would require, service is top notch. Overall, I felt so well taken care of and at ease during my time there. If you’re looking for a place where can recover, and be pampered, I highly recommend the New Life Confinement Centre, these reviews don’t lie!
I stayed at New Life Confinement Centre for 28 days, and it truly gave me an excellent postpartum experience, setting me up for my next phase of life. Like many first-time parents, we were nervous going in — I had heard stories about difficult nannies and was worried as well. But from the moment we arrived, we felt well taken care of. Our nanny, Auntie Chris, was a blessing — warm, attentive, and patient. She went beyond just caring for our baby, teaching us so many practical tips that have made us feel much more confident as new parents. The meals were incredibly nutritious and varied, prepared by chefs — I was honestly impressed that in 28 days, I never had a repeated dish. It felt like every meal was prepared with care and thought for a recovering mom’s needs. Attached some pictures of my favourite meals there! The environment itself was peaceful and clean, and having housekeeping every other day helped me truly rest without worrying about chores. What I didn’t expect was the community. The centre arranged a flower arrangement activity that brought together many first-time moms like myself. We connected over the challenges of early motherhood, breastfeeding, and recovery — it really helped me feel less alone during a very emotional time. Another big plus? New Life is the only confinement centre we found that actually thought about the dads too. My husband was provided daily breakfast, was able to do his laundry, had access to a gym and swimming pool throughout our stay. There’s even a BBQ pit, which we booked one weekend to host a few friends — such a nice touch that made us feel like we weren’t isolated from the outside world. And as a final touch to end our journey, New Life organised a full month celebration for us & the baby. What’s more - on our final night there, the chefs prepared a lovely 5 course candlelight dinner for my husband and I, making sure that we spent quality couple time amid the blissful chaos of caring for a newborn. All in all, New Life offered a well-rounded, thoughtful experience that supported not just my physical recovery, but also our emotional well-being as a new family. I’m really grateful for our time there and would definitely recommend it to any expecting parents considering a confinement stay.
My stay at NewLife Confinement Center was absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend it. The center is located at Oasia Residence, which offers a peaceful and quiet environment—perfect for postpartum recovery. The complimentary parking, gym, and laundry facilities were a huge plus, making the stay comfortable for my husband as well. My nanny, Auntie Fanny, was an absolute lifesaver. As a first-time mom, I was a bit anxious when my baby had jaundice, but her experience and calm demeanor reassured me completely. She was incredibly gentle with my baby and patiently taught both me and my husband how to care for our newborn. If you're staying here, I highly recommend requesting her. The food was a major highlight. Each day included three balanced meals and two healthy desserts. The Chinese medicine soups and date tea were particularly beneficial, aiding my recovery and lactation. Lastly, I have to commend my account manager, Sophia. My baby arrived nearly three weeks early, but she was incredibly helpful and responsive, managing to arrange our room and all logistics on very short notice. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend NewLife.
I just had a great and satisfying experience with New Life Confinement Centre. When I was shortlisting my options for confinement centres, I was attracted to New Life’s serene and tranquil environment immediately, of course not forgetting to mention the prompt and professional responses I got from centre manager Ms Sophia. Their price is quite reasonable too. And I like they have a hybrid package option, 2 weeks staying at centre and 2 weeks to bring the nanny home. It’s very value for money and to me it’s very good as can use the remaining 2 weeks to get bb familiazed with home environment. My 2 weeks in the centre was well served with high standard meals & desserts everyday, every meal is changing and they are very nutritious. The ambience never fail me too. The quietness of the apartment is just nice for mummies who just delivered and need to have a good rest. You can see Bukit Timah Hill from the nice balcony. It’s very spacious too which allows us to host our guests comfortably. Even my husband loves it so much that he said in future can go back that place for staycation😅Haha My confinement nanny Ms 秀萍(Xiuping) is highly recommended. She helps me with the preparation of red date tea and herbal bath water everyday, bringing chef cooked meals to me promptly and even helped me with laundry. She’s really a wonderful nanny who has magical hands and seems can read baby’s mind. Whenever my baby is with her looks so satisfied and peaceful😄She’s very professional and really loves her career, you won’t see her behaving unprofessionally throughout the day at all. Both mummy & baby’s needs are well addressed all the time! After coming back with us to my home, she also cooked delicious meals for me and she’s a great cook too! Most important of all, I can feel she really love my baby and not just fulfilling her duties only. I really feel grateful that my first 2 weeks at the centre was taken good care of by my nanny and of course other thoughtful services provided by the centre, such as lactation therapy, massage, designated parking lot and newborn photoshoots, all arranged conveniently at my unit👍🫶The other 2 weeks at my house were also fruitful, we managed to learn lots newborn handling skills and tips from our Xiuping nanny and feeling more confident now. All these hands-on knowledge are so practical and much more useful than those taught at the workshops. Overall I never regret of my decision of choosing New Life Confinement Centre and I’m happy with my experience, I would like to recommend mums out there who are looking to stay in confinement centre. Thank you everyone of new life for your wonderful service delivery❤️💝🥰Especially to Sophia & Xiuping, thanks much🙏👍😘
Made the right choice to have my confinement at NewLife of 28 Days in June 2025!!! Being located at Oasia service apartments @West Coast, there is no restriction of visitation hours/guests number, my 2 older kids and spouse visited me everyday as it's June holiday and took turn as staycation to bond with baby bro! Confinement food variety is good and tasty, presentation is a delight to my eyes, warmly served from kitchen. My package came with lactation consultant, head spa, 2 post natal massages located within the premise. The lactation consultant assisted me with her gentle care to unclog my milk ducts during my 2nd day stay (very crucial). My 24/7 Confinement Lady, Mei Jiao is very lovely and I think she over pampered my boy (in a good way!:). Account Manager, Sophia is always warm and friendly. I able to "revise" my skills for infant care during my stay. Housekeeping is diligent once every 2,3 days by Oasia. Free parking, gym, pool facilities, sky garden for the morning walks with baby. Nice ambience at lobby lounge for morning breakfast served by Oasia with visiting family and remote working at lounge. Nice view of sea from my room. My kids missed the "staycation" experience and me on the fondest memories of my confinement! Highly recommend for recuperation, peace of mind and tender loving care:)

NewLife Confinement Centre uses a package pricing model, though specific figures were not listed publicly — contact them directly for a current quote. As a reference, the Singapore market for confinement nanny packages typically runs from S$3,500 to S$6,500 for a standard 28-day engagement, with extended 56-day packages priced higher. Rates vary depending on the nanny's experience, whether overnight care is included throughout, and whether herbal soups and confinement meals are prepared by the nanny or arranged separately. Confirm in writing what the package covers: overnight care, baby bathing, mother's recovery support, herbal soup preparation, and any agreed food preferences. Some agencies charge a separate placement or administration fee on top of the nanny's rate, so ask for a full cost breakdown before signing. See the full confinement nanny cost guide for Singapore →
Book at least four to six months before your expected due date. Confinement nannies with strong track records — particularly those who come recommended or hold a high volume of positive reviews — are often fully committed six to twelve months in advance. January, February, and the months following the Lunar New Year period tend to be peak demand windows. When you make initial contact, ask which nannies are available for your confinement month and request to speak with the assigned nanny before confirming. Use that conversation to discuss food traditions (Cantonese versus Hokkien cooking styles, for example), overnight care expectations, specific herbal recipes, and any personal preferences around diet or routine. Agree all key terms — including dietary scope and overnight arrangements — in writing before paying the deposit.
Confinement nanny certification is not standardised in Singapore — some nannies hold certificates from private training organisations, while others bring extensive practical experience without formal credentials. When speaking with NewLife Confinement Centre, ask about the assigned nanny's specific background, how many confinements she has completed, and whether she has experience with caesarean recoveries or breastfeeding support if those are relevant to your situation. For agency-placed nannies, a replacement policy is the main safeguard if the arrangement does not work out. Confirm the replacement window (commonly two to seven days after the nanny arrives), the grounds on which a replacement is offered, and whether any additional cost applies. Freelance nannies typically carry a lower fee but offer no formal replacement mechanism, which is a meaningful tradeoff to weigh before committing.
