About Oasis Psychiatry
Oasis Psychiatry is a counselling practice located in Potong Pasir, offering mental health and counselling services to clients across Singapore. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels for this listing. With only 2 Google reviews at a rating of 3/5, there is insufficient public review data to draw meaningful conclusions about service quality — prospective clients should weigh this accordingly.
Clients typically begin with an initial consultation to discuss their presenting concerns and goals, whether that involves anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, or other mental health matters. It is worth clarifying whether the practitioner holds relevant credentials from the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), or the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) for psychiatrists, as these determine the scope of care available. Confirm whether sessions are individual or available in group formats, whether a package or per-session arrangement suits your needs, and the cancellation policy ahead of your first appointment.
To take the next step, reach out to Oasis Psychiatry via phone or the enquiry form listed on this page to ask about appointment availability, the practitioner's qualifications, and the fee per session before committing to ongoing care. Listing data is incomplete — contact Oasis Psychiatry directly to confirm details.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
SAMH is good , avoid ACC at all costs .... u will know what i am talking about , the staffs @ ACC don't really respect people . i was sick and i was made to travel around looking for doctors . ACC is not a very popular choice for people around me , forget about this organization . Nobody is perfect , a lot of people knows this but some @ ACC don't really knows this ... if u do need somewhere to go , Try SAMH .... !
The staffs in SAMH Oasis Day Centre are biased, they treated people better if they liked them, those they hated, they gave all kinds of reasons to reject their referrals and some clients there are manipulative.😰

Oasis Psychiatry displays a '$$' price indicator, but a specific per-session rate is not publicly listed. For context, counselling sessions in Singapore typically run S$80–180 per hour with private counsellors, while psychiatric consultations can range from S$150–350 or more depending on the clinician's qualifications and whether assessment or prescription services are involved. Confirm whether the quoted fee covers the full session duration, any intake assessment, and whether GST applies. Ask about package pricing if you anticipate ongoing sessions, as some practices offer a small reduction for block bookings. Clarify the no-show and late-cancellation policy before your first appointment, as fees often still apply with less than 24 hours' notice. See the full counselling cost guide for Singapore →
Most counselling practices do not require a formal GP referral for private appointments, though a referral can be helpful if you intend to claim through insurance or MediShield Life, or if your concerns may warrant a psychiatric assessment alongside counselling. An intake form is standard at the first session and covers presenting concerns, relevant history, and any contraindications. If your situation involves complex mental health conditions — such as severe depression, psychosis, or a trauma history — it is worth asking whether the practitioner has experience in those areas and whether they collaborate with a psychiatrist or other specialists when needed. For acute crises, contact the Institute of Mental Health's 24-hour helpline at 6389 2222 rather than waiting for a scheduled appointment.
No regulatory licences are listed for Oasis Psychiatry in the current directory data. For mental health practitioners in Singapore, the relevant registers are the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) for psychiatrists, the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) for psychologists and counsellors registered under the Allied Health Professions Act, and the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) for counsellors who hold voluntary membership. Verification is straightforward: search the SMC register at moh.gov.sg/doctors-registry or the AHPC register at healthprofessionals.gov.sg before booking. Ask the practitioner directly for their registration number or SAC membership status. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
