Prospective clients typically begin with an initial consultation to discuss their presenting concern — whether that is anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, or another area — and to assess fit with the psychologist or counsellor. It is worth confirming the qualifications and registration of the specific practitioner you will be seen by, the session format (individual, couples, or family), session frequency, and the cancellation and rescheduling policy. Some clients seek a GP referral in advance if they intend to submit claims through their insurer or Medisave, as documentation requirements vary by policy and condition.
To make an enquiry, reach Olive Branch Psychology via WhatsApp, phone, or the contact form, and ask for an initial appointment at the CT Hub, Kallang office.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
I was very encouraged by the sessions that I had with Mr. Sam. I was not just given advice but my voice was really heard and well understood:) I have seen positive changes within me throughout and even after the sessions. God bless you.
As a Coach who runs my own coaching and consulting business, I understand the importance of having mentors and that's why I had many different mentors who guided me for my business. It was only after I saw a friend's posting about his experience with Counselling / Therapy, that I realised that this could be something that I'm missing in my life. I believe that I can't pour from an empty cup, and being a Coach who constantly have to pour out onto others, I realised there are times when I'm running close to empty. And so when I approached Sam for professional counselling in 2022, it was really a situation of wanting help to fill my own cup, and cover any blindspots in my life. I am someone who values personal development a lot, so the idea of investing into counselling was a no brainer — I wanted an avenue where I can sharpen myself to become the best version of myself. In just the first session, Sam gave me breakthroughs in my mindset — challenging previous mental models of how I looked at myself and even the relationships around me. I didn't realise there was so many parts of my life that needed fixing, and that explains why I have repeated so many past hurts in my life. But Sam has equipped me with the mental models and frameworks that I still use even today — 3 years later. Because of his expertise, I am so much more confident in navigating the various challenges in my Life — whether it is in my business, my relationships, or even myself. I am very thankful for his help all these couple of years, and I foresee I will continue to go to him for the indefinite future. Thank you Sam!
My partner and I came to Sam when we were having some trouble in our relationship. He was able, in a matter of weeks, to teach us how to communicate in a mature way and has helped us beyond belief! Thank you Sam.
I came to Sam after seeking out many supposedly “ well known “ counsellors..but none of them could help me. Initially I was skeptical because I already had wasted close to $2,000 doing counselling or therapy hopping lol but I had two of my friends who were totally unrelated that recommended me Sam. So I went reluctantly because I wanted to improve my relationship. I had a very bad idea of how a relationship should be because growing up my mum and dad divorced. And I witnessed many toxic relationships around me. And I applied that concept to my current relationship and man, I can say it’s like WW3 daily. Long story cut short, Sam saved my relationship and helped me worked through my trauma If it wasn’t for him, I don’t know if I’ll still be together with my current partner. I’ve been with many girls in my life, and I knew for a fact that I wanted this woman to be my wife. I was afraid I couldn’t heal/ change myself in time. When I went to Sam, my relationship was crumbling. And the strength of the relationship was seriously as strong as a tissue paper 🤣 After many sessions with Sam, hard work and self compassionate, I’m proud to say we have never been closer. The bond we have with each other is so genuine and strong. Also we are getting married this month :’)
Sam Robert’s is great:) I felt that it was easy to open up and provided very good advice and help. He really helped me to overcome my fears and seek continuous growth as a person.

Specific session fees for Olive Branch Psychology were not published at the time of listing. In Singapore, private counselling and psychology sessions typically range from S$120 to S$250 per hour, with the first consultation sometimes carrying a slightly different rate. Package pricing for a fixed number of sessions is offered by some practices and can reduce the per-session cost. Confirm the full fee structure — including any first-consultation fee, package options, and the cancellation or late-rescheduling policy — directly with the practice before your first appointment. Ask whether your insurer or corporate benefit plan covers outpatient mental health sessions, as reimbursement requirements vary. See the full counselling cost guide for Singapore →
A GP referral is not required to book a private counselling session at Olive Branch Psychology, though having one can help if you plan to submit a claim through a private insurer or if your employer's Employee Assistance Programme requires a referral path. Some insurers also require a specific diagnosis code from a psychiatrist rather than a psychologist before approving mental health benefits, so it is worth checking your policy in advance. At the first visit, expect an intake process covering your presenting concern, relevant personal and medical history, and your goals for therapy. This allows the practitioner to assess fit and recommend a treatment approach. If your situation involves complex psychiatric needs — such as medication management — the practice may refer you to a psychiatrist in parallel.
In Singapore, psychologists are registered with the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP), administered by the Singapore Psychological Society, or hold registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) if they practise as a registered psychologist under the Allied Health Professions Act. Counsellors may be members of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC). These are the relevant credentialling bodies to check. No regulatory licences were listed for Olive Branch Psychology in the current KakiList data. Before booking, ask directly for the full name and registration number of the practitioner you will be seeing, then verify on the SRP or AHPC public register. Confirm the practitioner's area of specialisation and years of clinical experience, as these vary significantly between practitioners at the same practice. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
