I am not sure how this maid agency can even get 4.9 stars. Here is a genuine and honest review from a consumer who has paid for their services and in turn got an atrocious helper. I lost $1k in 3 days with this maid agency so stay away. Last year, Lisa from Onward Manpower Group reached out to me as I have enquired on a helper on Bestmaid. I gave a super detailed daily work schedule with household chores and jobscope covered. Lisa recommended Indo Yasl* Ane** Moko**** and I told her to check and ensure that the helper could perform and undertake my jobscope. When the helper arrived, she was so incompetent that she could hardly complete 5% of her daily tasks. She even took photos of my residence and attempted to take photos of me in the lift when we sent her back to the agency and I caught it. When I called Wendy Oo (owner of agency) that her helper had infringed our privacy by taking photos of us and my house, she brushed it aside and said it was okay and turned it against me and said that I should not have taken FDW's phone to delete my photos. Subsequently, Wendy and Lisa did not attempt to find a replacement from me. After repeated text msges from me, Lisa gave me a few replacement biodata and all the biodata were of FDWs who broke MULTIPLE contracts. There was zero attempt to find a replacement for me. Wendy also tried to pull a fast one when I enquired when I would be getting a refund of the placement loan. She said that I had to give the FDW one more month (total 2 months) to find the next employer before I could get my refund back. This contravenes what was in the contract. You know how incompetent this helper was? She would just take the dish sponge without putting detergent to wash dishes. When I told her to put detergent, she put so much that she passed me soapy spoon and fork meant for my children. I have told her more than 10x and even google translated 2 types of cloth - one for floor and sofa, two for wiping kitchen and tables and she still gets mixed up and refused to write down. She also mixes up sponge for toilet bowl vs sponge for other parts of the toilet; chopping board and knives for fruit and veg vs meat. FDW also keeps using her hp on the first few days despite me telling her to use hp after work. Cannot cook as food are burnt, washed rice until my Japanese rice dropped all over the sink and Wendy said it was okay. Took 1h just to stir fry broccoli and carrot. Whole kitchen is so messy with onions, veg, fish all over the stove - I really don’t know how she stir fry. Anyway, if you are the next employer of a helper called Yas** - good luck. Stay away from this maid agency - see how many red flags from the owner. Btw, owner never once apologised to me. She only apologized in this post.

Wendy has been very responsive and helpful whenever I have questions, even few months after I employed the helper. Her fees are quite reasonable too. Will definitely recommend her agency to my friends/ relatives. Engaged Wendy again after two years as my existing helper did not want to renew. Wendy has been helpful in finding a suitable candidate this time too.

I want to recommend Onwards definitely! Has been liaising with Wendy. She’s not pushy, she ask me on what is my requirement, and etc. She will help me to filter some profile and biodata that suits me. Settled the whole process within less than a week! She had guided me, ensure me everything is smooth. And settled all the rest of the stuffs for me. My helper is attentive, hardworking! Really 5 star service even before sales / after sales for Wendy. Wendy is a rare gem in the maid industry. She is proactive and prompt in her replies. Interviews with helpers are quickly set up too. She is very responsible. We had some hiccups after employing the helper for 2 months and she made sure to follow up and settle the matter unlike most agencies who will avoid or shun when things happen after handover. She provides very good after sales. I will reccommend her to my friends and relatives.
