About Orange Tree Preschool

About "Orange Tree Preschool"

Orange Tree Preschool is a playgroup-level childcare provider operating in Singapore, listed under the Childcare category on KakiList. The listing has been verified by a KakiList team member, who confirmed operating details and contact channels. Families considering Orange Tree Preschool should begin by enquiring about slot availability for their intended start month, as places — particularly for younger age groups — can fill several months in advance. When you contact the centre via phone or the online enquiry form, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the structure of the daily routine, and the settling-in period for new children. It is also worth confirming registration fees, the deposit requirement, and whether the centre participates in ECDA subsidy schemes, as Singapore citizen children may be eligible for meaningful monthly support.

As a concrete next step, call or submit the enquiry form to ask about current vacancy for your child's intended intake month, and arrange a centre visit to meet the lead teacher before committing.

My daughter attended Orange Tree Preschool and has since moved on to Primary School (she’s 7 now), and my son is currently in N2 there. As a parent, I’m really grateful for the care and dedication the school has shown to both my children over the years. What stands out the most is how caring and attentive the teachers are, including the vice principal and the principal. They genuinely pay close attention to each child’s milestones and will follow up thoroughly with parents to make sure we’re kept informed and involved. It feels very reassuring knowing the children are in such nurturing hands. I also really appreciate how well they prepare the kids for Primary School in all aspects — socially, mentally, and academically. My daughter transitioned smoothly and confidently, which I believe is a strong reflection of the foundation she received there. Seeing my son now growing and learning in the same environment gives me the same confidence. Thank you to the team at Orange Tree Preschool for the dedication and heart you put into caring for the children.

Had the most wonderful experience at Orange Tree CCK. Their principal Ms Hema has been there for years and always very helpful and knowledgeable. Not forgetting the teachers, they are all very good as well. I had very close engagement with the class teachers during all my girl’s years there. The teachers are Very responsive, very meticulous and you can see that they genuinely care for the kids, even with assistant teachers. We get updates from them as necessary as it gets. Toilet training, self-feeding and independence also starts in the playgroup classes which I really appreciate. The preschool does very good pre-primary prep for the kids in my opinion and the kids started learning how to write their names starting in their nursery years (N1, N2). Their curriculum is good and they started spelling in K2. All in all, I highly recommend this preschool❣️

We’re truly grateful to be part of the Orange Tree Preschool @ Jalan Teck Whye family. The low teacher–student ratio really makes a difference — each child receives attentive care, and the teachers are incredibly loving and patient. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my son is in such nurturing hands. Whenever he has little knocks here and there (as active boys do!), the teachers attend to him immediately and update me promptly. That level of care and communication means I can fully entrust my son to them. The facilities are wonderful too — from their pool water play sessions to the new Gourmet Lab, where the children get hands-on learning experiences. My son recently shared excitedly about how different cooking times affect eggs — such practical and engaging lessons! I love how learning is made so interactive and meaningful. The enrichment programmes are thoughtfully curated and truly spark his enthusiasm. He wakes up excited for school, and that says everything. Special appreciation to Ms Hema (Principal), Ms Liang (Vice Principal), and my son’s two lovely teachers — Teacher Jocelyn and Wang Laoshi — for their dedication, warmth, and patience. Thank you for loving our children as your own ❤️

My girl attended the school since N2. & she enjoyed every single day in school. They have lots of activities and learning throughout the day. Academic wise I have to say is good as well, and they have 3 day 2 day rotation of full Chinese and English. School environment is conducive, safe and there is a small pool where children get to play water play monthly. Kids love it. Teachers Jocelyn and Wang laoshi and other teachers as well as Principle and VP is very nice and greet us every morning at the door. They make a lot effort for the children’s. Does not have teach turnaround compare to my girl previous school. Which is good as they does not need to adapt so much with different teacher and learning. Overall very satisfied!

School environment is good: Classroom clean, spacious and with ample outdoor area - personal playground and pool for activities and playtime. The teacher to student ratio is lower than the usual preschools to allow teachers to be attentive to children and know the children well. Communication on well being and feedback are shared effectively to parents. In terms of curriculum and learning progress, it's well paced to support the learning journey of the children. Eg. weaning of diapers and bottles are well managed with school routine that we continued the same at home to support the change. Transition to P1 was also less stressful (for both the child and parents), with good pace by teachers on academic and exposing the child with primary school visit and value of money. Overall, my experience at OrangeTree (CCK) has been great with responsible teachers, principals and admin. Safety and well being of the the child considered to give them a positive environment to learn and grow.

What subsidies can I claim at "Orange Tree Preschool"?

Singapore citizen children enrolled in licensed childcare centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare. Mothers who work at least 56 hours per month may additionally claim the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. Families with household incomes below certain thresholds can apply for the Additional Subsidy, which combined with the Working Mother Subsidy can bring total monthly support up to S$710 or more depending on income tier. Permanent Resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at lower quantum.
