Patients typically begin with a first consultation in which the TCM practitioner conducts a holistic assessment — pulse diagnosis, tongue examination, and a review of presenting conditions and health history. Common reasons for seeking TCM include musculoskeletal pain, fertility support, stress and sleep difficulties, digestive issues, and chronic condition management. Following the assessment, the practitioner will recommend a treatment plan that may include acupuncture, tui na, cupping, moxibustion, or prescribed herbal medicine. Patients can choose between single sessions and recurring treatment packages depending on their condition and goals. It is advisable to clarify the cancellation policy and any package commitment terms at the first visit.

Went here on my trip to singapore and I found the clinic on Google! From the first contact everyone was really friendly. I got matched with Jasmine as my physician and she took great care of me. She recommended treatments like acupuncture and cupping which she did with great care! I could feel the positive effects immediately. Everyone is very skilled and friendly. Very kind staff at the reception, especially Vanessa. She will even serve you some tea and answer all your questions. Very nice rooms as well!

Very warm and friendly staff through out from counter service to physicians. The environment of the clinics are very clean and comfortable. Always feel more relaxed after a visit. The service is pricey but appreciate how the physicians are very attentive and really take the time to listen then explain very thoroughly on their thoughts behind the recommendation of the treatment plan.
For first time visitors, there was an hour long initial consultation with a ”health coach.” It was an incredibly informative, holistic and comprehensive assessment of overall health! The entire experience was pleasant and professional. The clinic was clean, calming and welcoming. Wonderful experience overall!
I visited Oriental Remedies TCM Orchard Clinic for my stiff neck and tight shoulders, and it has really helped relieve the tension. I go regularly now to maintain my general wellbeing. Physician Chelsea is attentive and professional, and she takes the time to understand my condition before recommending treatment. The clinic environment is very peaceful and relaxing, which makes each visit a pleasant experience.

Oriental Remedies Group (Great World City) is priced in the mid-range ($$), though specific per-session fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the clinic. In the Singapore TCM market, a first consultation with acupuncture typically runs S$80–180, with follow-up sessions at S$60–150 depending on treatment modality. Herbal medicine prescriptions are billed separately, usually S$30–80 per week's supply. Many TCM clinics offer package rates for recurring conditions that reduce the per-session cost meaningfully. Confirm whether the consultation fee covers the assessment only or includes the first treatment, what is charged separately for each modality (acupuncture, cupping, tui na), and whether there is a no-show or late-cancellation fee. GST applies on consultations and procedures at GST-registered practices. See the full TCM cost guide for Singapore →
No GP referral is required to book a TCM consultation in Singapore. At the first visit to Oriental Remedies Group (Great World City), expect to complete an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and presenting complaints before meeting the practitioner. The practitioner will carry out a TCM assessment — including pulse and tongue diagnosis — and discuss your health goals before recommending a treatment plan. If you have a complex or chronic condition, bringing any existing diagnostic reports or specialist letters can help the practitioner contextualise your case. Some health insurance policies and Medisave (for specific chronic conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme) may cover TCM acupuncture at accredited clinics — a GP referral may be required for these claims, so confirm with your insurer beforehand.
TCM practitioners in Singapore are regulated by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. Registered practitioners are authorised to practise acupuncture and/or TCM — the public register is searchable at the TCMPB website, where you can verify a practitioner's name, registration number, and scope of authorisation before your first appointment. Oriental Remedies Group (Great World City) does not have specific licence details listed on this profile. Before booking, ask the clinic for the registered names of the practitioners you will be seeing and verify each on the TCMPB public register. This takes under two minutes and is the most reliable way to confirm that the person treating you is legally authorised to practise acupuncture and prescribe herbal medicine in Singapore.
