About OSCAS (Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter)

About OSCAS (Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter)

OSCAS (Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter) is a Singapore-based pet services provider specialising in pet training, operating islandwide from its premises at 59 Sungei Tengah Road, Block R, The Animal Lodge, Singapore 699014. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It holds a perfect 5-out-of-5 rating across 20 Google reviews, though at this sample size that signal should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$); a specific fee schedule is not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the provider.

When engaging OSCAS for pet training, come prepared with your pet's size, breed, and temperament profile, as these factors will influence which training programme is appropriate. Bring up-to-date vaccination records at the point of enquiry, as most reputable training facilities require proof of current vaccinations before sessions begin. It is worth asking whether a trial visit or initial assessment session is available so your pet can be evaluated and you can gauge the training approach before committing to a recurring schedule. Clarify whether sessions are conducted on a drop-off basis at the Sungei Tengah Road facility or whether other arrangements are available.

To take the next step, reach out to OSCAS through the enquiry form listed on their profile. Outline your pet's breed, age, and any specific behavioural goals or concerns so the team can recommend a suitable programme and provide a clear fee breakdown.

I fostered a beautiful dog called Zoe from OSCAS. This is a very well run shelter that actually cares so much for the dogs. I'd never been to a rescue shelter before and it really opened my eyes to how much work is involved in looking after so many animals at one time. The volunteers who help run it are saints! There are lots of lovely dogs available for adoption, of various breeds and ages. Think we will be back for another one...

Many lovely and friendly dogs. They really care about the dogs, ensuring they get good food and medical care, and that they go to loving homes.

I think this is quite a well run and well organized shelter for the strays. Kudos to Mary, the staff and the volunteers. As Mary took my partner and I around the facilities, I can see how much thoughts they have put in to ensure the welfare of the animals are well taken care of. Large kennels, scheduled free and easy out of the kennels, huge fans for ventilation and every dog has their own bed and some comfort item. And very clean kennels too. I hope everyone will love animals and have a heart for them. Even if u can’t adopt one, perhaps can make a regular donation or even volunteer at the shelter too. Let’s give these animals some love

caring and hard-working volunteers who often take in dogs who many turn away from. Know a few dogs adopted from here who are lovely.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does OSCAS (Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter) charge?

OSCAS indicates mid-range ($$) pricing, but a detailed fee schedule is not publicly available. For pet training in Singapore, costs typically vary by session format — group obedience classes generally run lower per session than one-to-one behavioural coaching. Additional charges may apply depending on your pet's size, breed, or specific training requirements. It is advisable to contact OSCAS directly via their enquiry form to request a full breakdown before committing. Confirm whether fees cover a fixed number of sessions, what happens if a session is missed, and whether any assessment fee applies at intake. See the full Pet Training cost guide for Singapore →

What vaccinations does OSCAS (Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter) require?

Most pet training providers in Singapore require dogs to be current on core vaccinations — typically the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and, where applicable, rabies. For dogs attending group sessions or facilities shared with other animals, bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is frequently required as well, given the close proximity involved. Vaccinations are generally expected to have been administered within the past 12 months. You will usually need to bring a copy of your pet's vaccination certificate issued by a registered veterinarian at or before the first session. Contact OSCAS directly to confirm their specific vaccination requirements, as policies can vary by programme type and facility arrangement.

Is OSCAS (Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter) licensed and insured?

OSCAS is ACRA-registered, confirming it operates as a legitimate business entity in Singapore. The listing is also KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. No specific AVS (Animal & Veterinary Service) licences are listed on the profile; if AVS licensing is relevant to the specific service you require — particularly for boarding components — you should ask OSCAS to confirm their licence status directly. Regarding insurance, it is prudent to ask whether the provider carries cover for incidents involving pets in their care, including injury or illness during a training session. Confirm this before your first drop-off. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
