About Patience Employment Agency
Patience Employment Agency is a domestic helper placement agency based in Ang Mo Kio, serving households islandwide. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channel, though no ACRA registration or MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence has been confirmed in the available data. With only 6 Google reviews at a rating of 3.0/5, the review sample is too small to draw reliable conclusions about service quality.
When engaging a maid agency in Singapore, the most important first step is confirming that the agency holds a valid MOM EA Licence, which can be checked at any time on MOM's online EA directory by name or licence number. A legitimate placement covers the full process: sourcing a new-hire or transfer helper, coordinating the Work Permit application, arranging the Settling-In Programme, and providing mandatory FDW insurance. Placement fees for new hires typically run S$1,500–3,500; transfer helpers are generally lower at S$500–1,500. Monthly costs after placement include the helper's salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary for eligible households). Clarify what is bundled into the placement fee and what is billed separately before signing any agreement.
Contact Patience Employment Agency by phone to confirm their current MOM EA Licence number and ask about available helper profiles, source-country options, and the replacement guarantee window before proceeding.

Disappointed with the service of patience. This is a very irresponsible agency who claimed to be "superior" with their service, saying they will provide doorstep service if the owner require at any point in time. However, when we feedback a problem, all the agency does was to give us a perfunctory reply just to push us away. He never once listen and understand the actual problem I'm facing with the maid. Initially, we were looking for a maid that knows how to take care of elderly. Recommended a maid that claimed to be experienced in taking care of elderly but instead, she is just a inexperienced maid who doesn't know how to do anything including house chores, not to mention taking care of elderly. The maid has been with us for 4 months plus already yet don't even know who to do a single thing which was why I requested for a change of maid. We feedback to the agency hoping to get some help from him but what we got in return was the agency blaming us and telling us that we cannot scold the maid. The problem was never once resolved. Requested to change a maid but no action was done. The agency said to help us look into the issue and would change another maid for us. Waited for 2months since January no action was done. Spoke to the agent again yesterday and got reprimanded by the agent saying it's our fault because we scared the maid and it is not the maid's fault for not wanting to work. The maid wants to return back home but they do not allow but force the maid to continue work. Attitude was absolutely terrible and unacceptable. If you need an agency with responsibility and would take initiative to help you, personally I wouldn't recommend this agency.
Disappointed with the service of patience . Not patient at all. Told me to accept a maid who didn't complete a contract and told me to accept their requirements to use phone each night. She explained if you dun match maid needs maid will not complete the contract. Told her my requirements and I needed a Mais urgently explain that maid needs to also accommodate with my needs. She then told me arrogantly. You wait if I got maid I call you. I then tried to hold the phone by replying she hung up! And I never hear from her. If you are in dire need better dun go to them.
Miki is patient and responsible. She follows up well and is efficient in getting helper in. We like her service and most importantly she doesn't push her customers to sign any contract.
Disappointed with the service of patience . Not patient at all.

Placement fees at maid agencies in Singapore typically run S$1,500–3,500 for a new-hire helper and S$500–1,500 for a transfer helper already in Singapore. Patience Employment Agency has not published a specific fee, so confirm the exact amount before signing. Beyond the placement fee, factor in the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience), the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard; S$60 concessionary if the household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability), and mandatory FDW insurance (~S$300–600 per year). Ask the agency which of these — Work Permit application, Settling-In Programme, medical exam — are bundled and which are billed on top. See the full maid agency cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold a MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is publicly verifiable on MOM's online EA directory by agency name or licence number. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. Based on the data currently available to KakiList, no MOM EA Licence has been confirmed for Patience Employment Agency — this is a significant gap that you should resolve directly with the agency before paying any deposit. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; A+ and A grades indicate stronger compliance and complaint-handling records. Engaging an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if the helper absconds or the agency closes, and can void your FDW insurance. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
A standard replacement guarantee from a licensed agency typically covers 6 months from the helper's arrival date and includes at least one replacement. Confirm with Patience Employment Agency how many replacements are included, what circumstances trigger eligibility (documented mismatch versus buyer's remorse), and what additional replacements cost if the first is exhausted. Also clarify the early-termination process: if the placement breaks down outside the guarantee window, the household bears the cost of the repatriation flight, unused MOM levy refund processing, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork. Understanding these terms before signing prevents disputes later. As no specific guarantee terms have been published by this agency, ask for the full replacement and refund policy in writing before committing.
