The receptionist was very friendly and kind, offering me water whilst I was waiting. Staff were attentive and the doctor was skilled and professional. As I went through the full package (acupuncture+cupping+massage), there were points whereby the treatment would require some level of discomfort (definitely bearable) but the doctors and staff always made sure I was okay and taken care of, adjusting the treatment to suit my tolerance as the process went on. I was also given advice for my body and how to proceed moving forward after treatment. Overall a very pleasant experience and results were great, as my healing speed increased significantly and I made a full recovery on my injury. Highly recommend TCM for anyone who has suffered injuries, have old injuries flare up, or simply want to improve their body's overall health. Will definitely return!

Very professional TCM Doctors to analyse the body condition and prescribe the treatment accordingly. Medical charges are reasonable and to the amount of medication prescribed. There are massage session, body sliming with acupuncture assist to regulate to body internally. Ang Mo Kio is the head office and there is another branch in Tampines.

I had very bad sciatica pain and inflammation (burning hot) causing me difficulties in walking, sitting and standing. Despite western medication, my symptoms did not improve. I was in great pain during that time. I am really grateful to meet Yao Yanna physician who was recommended by my sister. Yao Yanna physician treated my issue. She is very patient and skilful. She did acupuncture on me (explained to me in details about my issue) and prescribed me tcm medicine. After few treatments, the pain lessen and gradually I could walk, sit and stand. I am back to my usual routine now! Till today, I still continue my treatment with her for my health maintenance. Really thankful to Yao Yanna Physician and her team includes the receptionist, Li Xia and my two tuina therapists Shu Ying and Ma Jia, their efficiency and professionalism.

Been going to the branch in Ang Mo Kio for more than a year before switching to the Kovan branch when they opened last year. I signed on package because it will be cheaper for me in the long run. Usually they have promotions for their package during their anniversary or for new branch opening. My current package was bought last year during the opening promotion. I go there for lower back pain and the pain has improved a lot. Now I only go there every 2-3 weeks for just maintenance. But if I sprain myself I will go there as soon as possible because the sprain will heal much faster. The staff are always helpful and friendly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Peace TCM charge per session?

Peace TCM is listed at the mid-range ($$) level, but specific per-session fees were not published at the time of listing. In Singapore, TCM consultations typically run S$20–50 for the initial consultation, with acupuncture sessions ranging from S$40–100 depending on whether it is combined with other modalities. Herbal prescriptions are billed separately, typically S$20–60 per week's supply. Confirm the full fee breakdown — including first-visit consultation charge, treatment cost, and herbal medication pricing — before your appointment. Ask whether package pricing is available for ongoing treatment courses, and clarify the no-show and cancellation policy. See the full TCM cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

No formal referral is required to book a TCM consultation at Peace TCM. Most first visits begin with a structured intake assessment — the practitioner will review your medical history, current medications, and presenting symptoms, and conduct a tongue and pulse diagnosis before recommending a treatment approach. If you are seeing a GP or specialist for a related condition, bringing a summary of your diagnosis and any recent test results can be helpful, particularly for complex or chronic conditions. A GP referral is not required for standard TCM treatment, but it may be relevant if you intend to make an insurance claim, as some integrated shield plans cover registered TCM practitioners — check your policy terms in advance.

Is the practitioner at Peace TCM licensed?

In Singapore, TCM practitioners who perform acupuncture and prescribe Chinese medicinal materials must be registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. Registration details — including the practitioner's full name, registration number, and any conditions on practice — are searchable on the TCMPB public register at moh.gov.sg. No TCMPB registration details were provided in Peace TCM's listing at the time of publication. Before booking, ask the clinic for the consulting practitioner's TCMPB registration number and verify it directly on the public register. This is particularly important for acupuncture, where the practitioner must hold a valid acupuncture endorsement. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the TCMPB public register before treatment.
