Jack is a fantastic physiotherapist, he helped me recover from a severe back injury. At one point, I couldn’t bend down or even sit or lie down comfortably. After six weeks of treatment, I’m back to normal. In addition to dry needling and massage, Jack developed a series of rehab exercises for me to continue working on my recovery at home. He didn’t just cure my back pain; he also taught me how to engage my core muscles more effectively. Thank you, Jack!

I was referred to Jack after discectomy surgery - very worried about long recovery and really focused on being able to get back to high intensity sport as fast (and safely) as I could. Jack was brilliant - tailored the approach to what I needed at every block of the recovery. Told me to slow down at times but gave me opportunity to go a little harder when appropriate. The coaching guidelines, weekly training programs and just fun banter during our sessions made a daunting recovery more enjoyable than expected. High recommend Jack and the team at Physio 101

Highly recommend Jack! Jack is a great, friendly, and very knowledgeable physiotherapist. He’s honestly the first therapist who truly helped me recover from my shoulder and neck pain. He really knows what he’s doing and takes the time to explain things clearly. The exercises he gave were practical and easy to carry on doing on my own, and they made a real difference. I felt well supported throughout the whole process and would highly recommend him. Thanks Jack!

I sustained a lower back injury during one of my trainings and I was recommended to physio Shirly. She was very professional and not just listened but also could relate to my injuries (found out she was a sportswoman herself!). She suggested dry needling for both my back and shoulders (chronic tight shoulders for me). My first time experiencing that and I have to say it worked wonders. Will be back and definitely recommend to anyone who has injury or just in need of a release!

Had been struggling with TMJ issues for quite some time, and I’m really grateful to have found Jack! He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and professional. Jake took the time to thoroughly assess my condition, and tailor a treatment plan specifically for me. My TMJ symptoms improved significantly after three treatments and now fully recovered.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Physio 101 charge per session?

Physio 101 lists its pricing at the S$$ level, indicating mid-range fees. In the Singapore physiotherapy market, a standard consultation typically runs S$80–150 per session at a private clinic, with follow-up sessions often priced lower than the initial assessment. Package rates — for example, a block of six to ten sessions — usually offer a modest discount over pay-per-session pricing. Confirm whether the first consultation fee differs from follow-up sessions, whether your health insurance or corporate benefits cover physiotherapy, and whether there is a no-show or late-cancellation charge. Do I need a referral or assessment first?

You do not need a GP referral to book directly with a private physiotherapy practice in Singapore, though a referral letter from your doctor or specialist is helpful if you are claiming through MediShield Life, an integrated shield plan, or a corporate health benefit — insurers typically require documented medical necessity. At the first visit, expect an intake assessment covering your medical history, current symptoms, pain levels, and functional limitations, as well as a physical examination. Bring any relevant imaging reports (X-rays, MRI) or specialist letters so the physiotherapist can design an appropriate treatment plan from the outset.

Is the practitioner licensed?

Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is verifiable on the AHPC public register at phpc.gov.sg. No regulatory licences have been listed in Physio 101's current KakiList profile, so we recommend confirming the treating physiotherapist's AHPC registration number directly with the clinic before your first appointment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
