The listing has been verified by KakiList, and the clinic holds a 4.9/5 rating across 268 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reliable indication of patient satisfaction. A typical first visit begins with an initial consultation and movement assessment, during which the physiotherapist establishes your presenting condition — whether that is post-surgical rehabilitation, a sports injury, chronic pain, postural dysfunction, or a neurological condition. From there, a treatment plan is agreed, which may combine manual therapy, guided exercise, dry needling, or electrotherapy depending on your needs. The Orchard Road location is accessible via Orchard MRT and has multiple transport options for those travelling from across the island.

To make an appointment, reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form, and bring any relevant imaging reports or specialist referral letters to your first session.

I am a national canoeing athlete I started physio this year due to a shoulder dysfunction I had incurred while doing intensive training. I was greeted really warmly by my current physio Peter and the journey of recovery has been really smooth sailing and enjoyable. Peter is a really nice and warm person who takes time to explain the purpose of the exercises, how it helps and how to perform such exercises properly to prevent further injuries. he also makes the patient feel at home and it in my opinion makes receiving treatment less daunting and comfortable. I really enjoy the time I've spent and really appreciate the work he has done for my shoulder. he has also helped my mom and grandma and both have also had a steady recovery journey. physio has been the best investment ive made for my sporting journey too and I really recommend it.

I am very happy with the results of my 3 months therapy with senior therapist , Pooja Verma. I have been suffering from carpel tunnel for many years and often wake up from painful numbness. I am now able to perform daily activities normally, no more painful numbness with continuous strengthening exercise taught to me to maintain at home. Truly a right choice made to be in expert’s hands, who knew exactly where my problem areas were. Thank you Physio Asia Therapy Centre for this period of care given. Excellent service from front desk staff for the follow up reminders and appointment scheduling too. It was hassle free.

Walked into his office in pain from a shoulder injury with x ray showing superior ac joint sublaxation. Doctor could only issue me painkillers and i have been waking in pain for the past 2 to 3 nights. On my first visit i was terrified he would have to push back my bone into joint. However he did none. He allow me to have absolute autonomy on how much I am agreeable to move and moving on my own with him guiding gently, while testing the degree of my injury. He is very observant to notice that i am not able to lift my arm when i myself did not realise my arm has no strength/lost ability to lift😲🤯. He also observed that my muscles is too tense. He taught me how to sleep and some exercises to improve mobility. To my relief and surprise, i woke with much lesser pain in my arm with his advice. I started doing "wall clock" exercise whenever i am near a wall during the day and it benefited me the most, bit by bit my arm began moving more inch by inch. I am grateful for all his advices, he told me my body is constantly in flight mode and i began to teach myself and my muscles to relax whenever I can, looking at ways to improve my sitting posture for better blood circulation, and to keep a relaxing mind for better health. When i thought i had recovered (no i hasnt fully), every session is still very beneficial and i actually felt better and better as a whole after each session aside from my shoulder injury that i came consultation for. Thanks Peter. I am very grateful. With him, feel safe.

Peter is honestly one of the best physiotherapists I’ve met. He’s super patient, easy to talk to, and really takes the time to understand what’s going on. He explains everything clearly and makes sure I’m comfortable with the exercises. I’ve felt a big difference after seeing him — less pain, more movement, and I know what to do at home to keep improving. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. Highly recommed!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Physio Asia Therapy Centre (Orchard) charge per session?

Physio Asia Therapy Centre (Orchard) displays a '$$' pricing indicator, which generally corresponds to the mid-range band for physiotherapy in Singapore. Standard physiotherapy consultations at private clinics typically run S$80–160 per session, with initial assessments sometimes priced slightly higher. Recurring package rates, where offered, are usually more economical per session than drop-in pricing. Confirm the per-session fee, whether a separate initial assessment charge applies, and the cancellation or late-rescheduling policy before your first appointment. If you intend to claim under an employer's corporate health benefit or a personal accident insurance policy, check whether the clinic issues the format of receipt your insurer requires. GST applies to private physiotherapy consultations. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first at Physio Asia Therapy Centre (Orchard)?

A formal GP or specialist referral is not required to book a private physiotherapy appointment in Singapore — you can self-refer directly. However, bringing a referral letter or relevant specialist notes (for example, from an orthopaedic surgeon post-operation, or a neurologist for a neurological condition) helps the physiotherapist contextualise your history and start treatment more efficiently. At the first visit, expect a structured intake assessment covering your medical background, symptom onset, daily activity demands, and movement limitations before any hands-on treatment begins. If you have a complex or multi-system condition, or if you are managing chronic pain alongside other health conditions, a GP referral may also be useful for insurance reimbursement and coordinated care. Contact the clinic in advance to confirm what to bring and whether to download any intake forms.

Is the physiotherapist at Physio Asia Therapy Centre (Orchard) licensed?

Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is verifiable on the AHPC public register at https://www.healthprofessionals.gov.sg — search by the individual physiotherapist's name. A valid registration confirms the practitioner holds an accredited physiotherapy degree and has met AHPC's continuing professional education requirements. No regulatory licences are currently listed for Physio Asia Therapy Centre (Orchard) on KakiList. Before your first appointment, ask the clinic to confirm the full name and AHPC registration number of the physiotherapist who will be treating you, and verify this against the public register. The clinic's 4.9/5 rating across 268 Google reviews is a positive indicator of patient experience, but licence verification is a separate step that should not be skipped. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the AHPC public register before treatment.
