About Physio Eight
Physio Eight is a physiotherapy practice located at Far East Shopping Centre on Orchard Road, offering services islandwide. It is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channel. It holds a Google rating of 4.5 from 11 reviews, though this is a small sample and should be treated as directional only. Pricing is positioned in the moderate range; specific session fees were not available at the time of listing.
For a first appointment, patients typically contact the clinic by phone to describe their condition or rehabilitation goal — whether that is post-surgical recovery, musculoskeletal pain, sports injury, or neurological rehab — before being matched to an appropriate physiotherapist. The initial session usually includes a clinical assessment, movement screening, and an outline of the proposed treatment plan, which may combine manual therapy, exercise prescription, or modality-based treatment depending on the presenting condition. Patients can clarify whether they prefer individual one-to-one sessions, whether a referral letter from a GP or specialist is available (useful for insurance claims or MediSave-claimable procedures at eligible clinics), and whether a package commitment is required or single sessions are available.
To take the next step, call Physio Eight directly to describe your condition, ask about current appointment availability, and confirm the session fee and any package options before booking.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Visited Ms Cheam for my pregnancy-related hip pain. She was very detailed and thorough with her physical examination, asking of questions and treatment approach. After the physical examination and questioning, she proceed to perform ultrasound treatment on my strained back muscles, taught me strengthening exercises to take the load off my back, and finally gave me a gentle back massage to loosen the tightness. I took her suggestions and already feel slight immediate relief. More importantly, her explanation and sharing made me feel understood and addressed my uncertainty as a first-time mom - thanks! Price wise, surely it is more expensive than seeing a physiotherapist at a public hospital, but should not be a big issue to most who are covered by a personal accident insurance.
Was under the care of Jackson after I suffered a sports-related injury. On my first visit, he was able to help stem my back spasms and I could get out of bed easier. By my third visit, I no longer experienced the symptoms of pain that the injury caused to my back. I think what works here is that the members of staff are conscientious in their work (handling appointments, enquiries, etc.) while the physiotherapists like Jackson go about their daily tasks. Jackson was able to ascertain the root of my injury via a doctor's report and his own assessment. Treatment for me included hot pack, massage, cupping and ultrasound therapy. I paid $110 per session; each session was about 1 hour long. There's a public open-air car park just behind the clinic and you can walk here from Orchard MRT. Very accessible if you are working around town.
Jackson did cure my nerve impingement after 4 sessions. If you have any nerve issues, strongly recommend him
Very experienced and caring. They genuinely care about your problems. I went back for an old problem and realised they expanded, hence the review. Otherwise, do not think I should write as they might be overwhelmed with patients. Sincerely thankful to my therapist for helping me with the slipped disc. I have seen them deal with many other kind of issues, with care. I have been to public hospital for the same problem and my experience is quite bad. And the fees are not much cheaper. Physio Eight charge a very reasonable fee. Hope it works for you too.
Jackson has been taking care of my sport injuries beautifully. I am a long distance runner and a long distance swimmer. Jackson has been able to fix me all the times I had issues ….which happened when you run 100km unfortunately ……He has truly magic hands

Specific session fees for Physio Eight were not published at the time of listing. As a general reference, physiotherapy consultations in Singapore typically run S$80–180 per session at private clinics, with initial assessments occasionally priced higher than follow-up sessions. Package rates for a block of sessions are common and usually offer a modest discount over single-session pricing. Confirm the exact fee, cancellation policy, and whether consumables or electrotherapy modalities carry an additional charge before your first appointment. If you plan to claim through insurance or MediSave, ask whether Physio Eight is a recognised provider under your scheme. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →
Most private physiotherapy clinics in Singapore, including those on Orchard Road, accept self-referrals — you do not need a GP letter to book. However, bringing a referral letter or specialist report is advisable if you have a recent diagnosis, post-surgical notes, or imaging results, as it allows the physiotherapist to begin treatment with a clearer clinical picture rather than starting from scratch. For insurance reimbursement or MediSave claims (where applicable under approved programmes), a GP or specialist referral is often a requirement of the insurer or scheme. The first visit at most clinics begins with a structured intake assessment covering medical history, contraindications, pain scale, and functional goals before any hands-on treatment begins. Call ahead to ask what information to bring and whether a separate assessment fee applies.
Physiotherapists practising in Singapore are regulated by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration on the AHPC public register is mandatory — you can verify any physiotherapist's name and registration status at the AHPC website before your appointment. Practising without AHPC registration is unlawful. No regulatory licences for Physio Eight were listed in the current KakiList data. Before booking, ask the clinic for the full name and AHPC registration number of the physiotherapist who will be treating you, and cross-check this against the AHPC online register. Confirm the practitioner's qualifications before treatment.
