About Physio Focus Raffles Place

About Physio Focus Raffles Place

Physio Focus Raffles Place is a physiotherapy clinic located at 22 Malacca Street in the Raffles Place business district, offering services islandwide. The listing is KakiList-verified, confirming that operating details and contact channels have been checked. It holds a 5/5 rating across 261 Google reviews, a robust sample that provides a reliable signal of client satisfaction.

New clients typically begin with a first consultation in which the physiotherapist takes a detailed history, assesses movement and function, and identifies the presenting condition — whether that is musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury, or a chronic issue affecting mobility. From there, a treatment plan is agreed, which may involve manual therapy, exercise prescription, or modality-based treatment over a series of sessions. Clients should ask whether sessions are one-to-one with the same physiotherapist throughout, what the cancellation policy is, and whether a package or single-session arrangement better suits their schedule and commitment level.

To get started, reach out to Physio Focus Raffles Place via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to describe your condition and preferred appointment time, and confirm the session fee and any intake requirements before your first visit.

Physiotherapist Chris Wong has been a great help with my knee problem. From the first session I liked his approach. During the treatment he explains what he is doing, why he is doing it and what is happening in your body. That gave me a lot of confidence and helped me understand the problem much better. He also gives exercises and takes the time to explain the purpose of each one and how they help the recovery. He has been working on my hip, ITB and the muscles around the knee and I’ve noticed clear improvement since starting physio. My knee feels much better and now I also know what to do to prevent it from coming back. He is friendly and patient and always answers all my questions. The sessions feel relaxed and you can tell he genuinely cares about helping you recover properly and not just giving a temporary solution. I’m really happy with the treatment and I would definitely recommend Chris to anyone dealing with knee pain or a sports related injury.

I had an excellent experience with Jade for my carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) and shin splint injury. She created a truly bespoke rehab program tailored to my condition and lifestyle, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Jade is not only highly knowledgeable and professional, but also incredibly caring and attentive. She carefully monitored my progress and adjusted the exercises as I improved. Thanks to her structured and personalised approach, my wrist strength has improved significantly and my shin pain is now well managed. Highly recommend Jade to anyone looking for a dedicated and results-driven physiotherapist.

The therapist took the time to reassess my injury rather than just going along with the original diagnosis I came in with. This thorough, thoughtful evaluation made all the difference, helping me to get back to my gym routines. He explains everything very clearly and answers any questions I have. Highly recommended!

I have been coming ProHealth for years whenever I have an injury. In the last 3 months, Jade has been my therapist and I can’t recommend Jade enough. She was incredibly patient, professional and genuinely caring throughout my TFCC wrist recovery. Over the last three months she guided me step-by-step, always explaining things clearly and adjusting treatment as needed. I always felt listened to and never rushed. My wrist has improved so much thanks to her. If you need a physio who really knows what they’re doing and actually cares, Jade is the one.

Chris has been incredible. I came in with shoulder and lower back pain, and he quickly identified the root causes and created a targeted treatment plan. He’s knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely cares about my recovery. I’ve seen significant improvement in mobility and pain levels. Highly recommend his expertise.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Physio Focus Raffles Place charge per session?

Physio Focus Raffles Place has not published a specific session rate on its listing, so it is best to confirm fees directly before booking. In Singapore, physiotherapy sessions at private clinics typically range from S$80 to S$180 per session depending on assessment complexity, treatment modalities used, and session duration. Many clinics also offer package pricing for clients committing to multiple sessions, which can reduce the per-session cost. Confirm at the time of enquiry whether an initial assessment carries a separate or higher fee compared with follow-up treatment sessions, and whether your insurer or corporate benefits cover outpatient physiotherapy — some group health plans accept direct billing or reimburse upon submission of an official receipt. Do I need a referral or assessment first?

Physiotherapy in Singapore does not require a GP referral for a direct private booking — you can contact Physio Focus Raffles Place and schedule a first appointment without one. However, if you intend to claim from a health insurer or use a corporate medical benefit, check whether your policy requires a doctor's referral letter before the physiotherapy claim is valid, as some plans do. At the first visit, expect the physiotherapist to conduct a full intake assessment covering your medical history, the onset and nature of your condition, current medications, and any imaging or reports you have from previous consultations. Bringing any recent X-ray, MRI, or doctor's notes will help the therapist form an accurate picture quickly. If your condition involves post-operative rehabilitation, a surgeon's discharge summary or protocol is particularly useful.

Is the practitioner licensed?

Physiotherapists practising in Singapore are required to be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is verifiable on the AHPC public register at https://www.healthprofessionals.gov.sg — search by name to confirm the practitioner holds a valid practising certificate. Physio Focus Raffles Place has not listed its regulatory licences on KakiList at the time of publication. Before booking, ask for the full name of the physiotherapist who will treat you and verify their AHPC registration directly. A registered physiotherapist will also hold professional indemnity insurance as a condition of practice. Confirm the practitioner's registration before your first session. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
