About Physio & Sole Clinic (Kovan)

About Physio & Sole Clinic (Kovan)

Physio & Sole Clinic (Kovan) is a physiotherapy practice listed on KakiList, operating from 170 Upper Bukit Timah Road with services available islandwide. The clinic has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person confirmed its operating details and contact channel. Pricing is indicated at a mid-range level, though specific session fees were not provided at the time of listing.

Patients typically begin with a first consultation during which the physiotherapist conducts a physical assessment to understand the presenting condition — whether musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury, or a chronic issue such as lower back pain or frozen shoulder. From there, a treatment plan is discussed, covering session frequency, modalities to be used (such as manual therapy, dry needling, ultrasound, or exercise prescription), and whether a recurring package or single-session arrangement suits the patient's needs better. It is worth asking about the cancellation policy upfront, as many clinics charge for late cancellations. If you intend to claim through MediShield Life, an Integrated Shield Plan, or a corporate health benefits scheme, confirm the billing format before your first visit.

To get started, reach out to Physio & Sole Clinic (Kovan) via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check appointment availability and ask about session fees and package options before committing.

Nicodemus is a professional and knowledgeable physiotherapist. He resolved my neck pain in two sessions. He was patient throughout the process, and the follow-up exercises were clear and easy to follow. Highly recommended for effective treatment.

Superb experience from the initial wassap assessment to first visit at their Bt Timah branch. Toto, my podiatrist, was really patient and took time to listen, answered my queries and also explained my nails condition and the treatment plan. He was very honest about managing my expectations and one could tell he is very passionate about his craft. Overall was a relax and an informative session. Toto is very personable and knows his stuff - felt assured as well. Two thumbs up!!

I had a plantar wart on the ball of my foot, and it was painful to walk on. James was my podiatrist. He is very professional, patient, and kind. During each session, James would take time to treat the wart without causing any pain. I was also given detailed instructions on taking care of the wart at home, which I feel sped up the recovery process. After the first few sessions, there was no more pain when I am on my feet, and after a couple more, my wart is gone! The receptionists are very friendly too. They are very accomodating when I had to change my appointment. The clinic is very clean, and the tools are properly sterilized. Overall, I am glad that I chose Physio and Sole Clinic for my treatment.

When I first stepped into the Consultation Room of Nicodemus, it lent a peaceful tranquility. He put me at ease and gave his listening ear on my concern. I knew that his check on my condition was very thorough in order to explain so I could appreciate the reason of going through the recommended exercise regime. This is a superb approach - that of teaching independence and ownership. Finally, he prescribed the remedy with three sets of exercises with full assurance that if I worked hard on them, there would be good outcome. He never once coerced for a repeat visit. This is professionalism!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Physio & Sole Clinic (Kovan) charge per session?

Specific session fees for Physio & Sole Clinic (Kovan) were not published at the time of this listing. As a general guide, physiotherapy consultations in Singapore typically run S$80–150 for an initial assessment and S$60–120 for follow-up sessions at private clinics. Package pricing for multiple sessions is common and usually offers a modest discount over pay-per-session rates. Confirm whether the quoted fee covers hands-on treatment only or includes adjunct modalities such as ultrasound, TENS, or dry needling, as these are sometimes billed separately. GST applies to private healthcare services in Singapore. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

A GP referral is not required to book a physiotherapy appointment at a private clinic — you can self-refer directly. However, bringing any relevant medical records, imaging results (X-rays, MRI reports), or specialist letters will help the physiotherapist understand your history and avoid repeating investigations. At your first visit, expect an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and the nature of your complaint. The physiotherapist will conduct a physical assessment before proposing a treatment plan. If you have a complex condition or are recovering from surgery, a referral letter from your surgeon or specialist can also streamline communication between providers. If you plan to claim through an Integrated Shield Plan or corporate insurer, a GP referral may be required by your insurer even if it is not required by the clinic — check your policy before booking.

Is the practitioner licensed?

Physiotherapists in Singapore are regulated by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Ministry of Health. Registration is mandatory to practise legally — unregistered physiotherapists cannot lawfully treat patients in Singapore. You can verify any physiotherapist's registration on the AHPC's public register at the MOH website by searching by name. Physio & Sole Clinic (Kovan) did not list specific regulatory licences in its KakiList profile. Before your first appointment, ask for the treating physiotherapist's full name and confirm their AHPC registration directly on the public register. This takes under two minutes and is the most reliable way to verify credentials. Voluntary memberships such as the Singapore Physiotherapy Association (SPA) are a secondary trust signal but are not a substitute for AHPC registration.
